Thanks picked one up for £25 but still a bargain they retail at argos for £75 where they have excellent reviews.

igrierson

I always assumed they were go faster stripes (lol)

soulio

Even with the "Grass combs"?

igrierson

Had a Bosch just before and haven't noticed any difference in ability to cut to the edges

It was £40 and it was reduced to £10 where I spotted it. Why don’t you contribute to the site instead of your negative commenting on other peoples. Cheer up!

This is a GREAT wee mower! Tried and tested. Actually my second Flymo in 8 years. XCsn take some battering lol 😁 Highly recommend and at that price too, its a steal! 😗 (my personal opinion)

BraddersB

I disagree with some of the negative comments... I’ve had these for around two years and both work absolutely fine. My lawn is around 72ft sq. I’m sure I could pay more for something better (a sit on mower has always appealed 8) ) but I got a similar deal to what has been posted and have no complaints. Have some heat my friend!

echo06

had a rotary one for over 10 years and still going strong.not sure which model it is mind.probably the more expensive the longer they last??

Bladesof1889

Absolute tat. Such poor quality I returned mine for a refund. The hover ones are better, dont waste your money on this

Danze1984

Mower is alright, but mine stopped working after just over a year. As for the strimmer, you'd be better of with a set of nail clippers. It was really that awful. I paid about £60, so the price is good, product not so much. Not voted either way.

Seen in Tesco cheetham hill Manchester...seems to be a pretty nice price.
Jonj1611

The mini-trim is the size of a toy. But the lawnmower is ok.

sparky.shark

I had the flymo chevron or whatever it was called. Went dead after 14 months. We had a qualcast cobra before that and that lasted 12+. I don't think I'd buy again...

patio26

Some stock in Antrim, Northern Ireland too. Heat

qbs

Cheapish, but will they last? Not been impressed with Flymo, though they fly into the council waste skip relatively well, so should be commended for their aerodynamics. It's their cutting and reliability that are (poo)

Skybird

Saw this in Sandhurst Tesco yesterday and was told its national.

Thanks OP. If anyone has a larger lawn or has slopes this one might be better... https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/mcculloch-rob-1000-robotic-lawn-mower-2988321

Helpful567

Wow, in 2016 I posted a great deal on a robotic lawnmower and got a lot of negative votes because people didn't understand these things and seemed to want to mow their own lawns, calling others lazy if they get a robot. They were voting on the concept of robotic lawnmowers and not the fact that it was good price. Glad to see that things have progressed in the last two years and that these posts are now getting the heat they deserve. For me, my robotic lawnmower (I have a different model but they work in a similar way), this is the best thing that I have bought in the last 10 years. I could wash up the dishes, but have a dish washer. I could handwash my clothes but have a washing machine. I could mow my lawn, but have a robotic lawnmower. This does all the work for me and it means that I do not need to get rid of a load of grass cuttings afterwards. The beauty of a robotic mower is that there are no grass clippings for you to dispose of. The Flymo Robotic 1200 R blades, cuts the grass repeatedly into tiny pieces when mowing - because of the nature of this product and your grass being cut every day (or however you set the programme) the grass clippings will be so small and unnoticeable, they will disappear into the soil acting as a natural fertiliser - resulting in an appropriately cared for lawn, with minimal effort. Please note that this mower will suitable for a garden of 400 square metres. If you are not sure how big your lawn is, use this link to measure it using google maps. (Tip - use the +/- on the left side of the page to make you lawn appear as big as possible on the screen. You then shade in the bits of the map where you use your mower) You will have to lay a perimeter wire (included in the package) and this may take a couple of hours to do. This is something that you only need to do once and if you change the shape of your garden in the future then you can cut / add wire if necessary to accommodate the change in shape. - no it won't put stripes on the lawn. - yes, it will mow the lawn while you are at work, so you can spend quality time with your partner and kids instead. - No, it will not cause a huge electricity bill - yes it is quiet - no, it will not burst the kids football - no, it will not kill the dog / cat / kids - no, you do not need to get rid of the grass cuttings. This is something that the 2016 hotukdeals public seemed to struggle to understand. This mower will cut your lawn every few days, cutting a tiny amount of the top of the growing grass. These tiny grass trimmings fall to the earth where they break down, nurrishing the lawn. -> these are tiny pieces of grass trimmings and do not get trampled into the house by the kids / husband after they have been playing football in the garden. - yes, you will still have to strim the edge of the lawn. Personally, I have a different model, but this seems to be a great deal for someone considering taking the plunge into robotic lawn mowing.

Cheapest it has ever been according to camelcamelcamel Pity I'm broke or would buy one.

Of course they sell them for a lot more then "cost price" firstly they need to make a profit + as you probably know Husqvarna invented and developed the robotic mower, it cost millions to develop something like this, but now the cats out the bag and others are making similar mowers/and cheap after market parts prices will drop dramatically soon i think

you_gotta_be_kidding

In East Yorkshire we also have a brown bin for garden waste (and waste food), blue for recycling and green for land fill.

Arizolas

Ahhhh!

This is actually about as cheap as these things get, though it had been this price a lot recently. They're only going to make sense for larger gardens but they are excellent machines and very effective.

Haha, we do not have green bins here in Derbados. Brown for garden waste, Blue for Re-cycling and black is household waste.

I bought this yesterday and it works perfectly for smaller lawns. With both front and rear wheels on the medium height setting it produces a good cut length and in my case the grass box collected everything. It does have a tendency to fall backwards when not in use due to the weight of the grassbox, but this is not an issue when actually mowing.

It's cheap and the quality is not great. I'll be buying another one within 6 months as the cutting blade giving us too much hassle on uneven surfaces (bend, not cutting etc). Further its not balanced especially towards heavy grass box when nearly full.

900W, no power! Need 1200w min. This is what I just bought - 50quid OFF! (had a S&J that lasted years.) Strimmer is basic and crap, so sold it. Not many left in any Argos round here now.
