Anyone know if Ryobi batteries are compatible with Black and Decker equipment?
Tesco link says 'This pole hedge trimmer has an 1800-2350mm adjusting length ranger' For comparisson with other pole hedge trimmers Tesco's is 400W for £30. On Aldi's website theirs is 1010W for £59.99. Toolstation sell a 900W Einhell trimmer for £93.96. Screwfix have a 550W MacAllister trimmer for £59.99.
Are the black and decker hedge trimmers any good does anyone know. No reviews for them.
Cheers op got the long reach trimmers for £28.50 with my clubcard voucher :)
MOWER of LAWN! WONDERFUL!
It would seem so!
What's going on with tesco direct closing? Any problems I am not aware of?
Tesco don't sell anymore this product.
Yeh 159 now
Yep £156 now
Just tried it and it doesn't work
Back up to full price.
I used the mower today, it does the job. Didn't leave too much mess. Actually think it's good! Compacts the grass well.
Of course they sell them for a lot more then "cost price" firstly they need to make a profit + as you probably know Husqvarna invented and developed the robotic mower, it cost millions to develop something like this, but now the cats out the bag and others are making similar mowers/and cheap after market parts prices will drop dramatically soon i think
In East Yorkshire we also have a brown bin for garden waste (and waste food), blue for recycling and green for land fill.
This is actually about as cheap as these things get, though it had been this price a lot recently. They're only going to make sense for larger gardens but they are excellent machines and very effective.
Haha, we do not have green bins here in Derbados. Brown for garden waste, Blue for Re-cycling and black is household waste.
Take your boxers off for a better joke.
nice joke m8 tell it again
This is the worst cock ring I have ever used. Don't waste your money.
I bought this yesterday and it works perfectly for smaller lawns. With both front and rear wheels on the medium height setting it produces a good cut length and in my case the grass box collected everything. It does have a tendency to fall backwards when not in use due to the weight of the grassbox, but this is not an issue when actually mowing.
This do a small space no probs (got one 3 years)
Agent Orange or Napalm.
Buy one, get lawn free.
It's cheap and the quality is not great. I'll be buying another one within 6 months as the cutting blade giving us too much hassle on uneven surfaces (bend, not cutting etc). Further its not balanced especially towards heavy grass box when nearly full.
I have new boxed unopened £55.
You will always get better if you spend more :)
Not very good bought this recently doesn’t collect all the grass.
Avoid at all costs. Spend the extra and one of these... https://www.johnlewis.com/mountfield-princess-34-electric-4-wheel-rear-roller-lawnmower/p231867049?sku=231867049&s_kwcid=2dx92700032819819578&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gclid=CjwKCAjwlcXXBRBhEiwApfHGTcVRd3rSqC33qZUKljmh05IyDfVEJr6RR7M5F8inZbpGHzoh3NY-jRoCNqcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Brilliant little mowers, had mine for over a year. Has a roller on the back to put lines in your grass too.
Had one of these. I call it a "drag mo". Why on earth didn't they put Wheels on it? As soon as its 20% filled, you're dragging 5-10kg of dead weight across the lawn
Seems to be lots of stock, good deal. Thanks OP.
I can second this. This isn’t a deal because the product isn’t quality. I took mine back for a refund. The motor kept smoking and the grass wasn’t exactly elephant grass. Shocking, nothing I can say good about. Put a few extra bob towards something better and more powerful
900W, no power! Need 1200w min. This is what I just bought - 50quid OFF! (had a S&J that lasted years.) Strimmer is basic and crap, so sold it. Not many left in any Argos round here now. AND plus is 34cm blade. Most have 32cm. 7 height positions too. Bit OT because the lowest is what most need unless your grass is 6 ins high. RECOMMEND HIGHLY, good brand and ...works! http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5209356 (highfive)
May I ask where from please. Need some for mine. Thanks
Liking the lights in your decking. Are they mains powered?
Leaves a lot of grass uncollected. Not good imo
none on the website - only the 34c 1400w model £55.19 :(
Batteries are electric 😜 how about “32V is the model number. This mower requires the plug on the end of the flex to be plugged into a 240V mains outlet. The model 240V mower is battery operated” 😜
None at that price now
Can anybody tell what items this includes in box?
On wilco website click store locator at the top of page location, then can find nearest store not sure if you have to ring them or it tells you online if in stock as not done it myself but it's at the top of there page
How do you check for stock using store finder?
Thanks OP. Just what I needed.
Got mine for 35 from Homebase Blyth.last one..but when I reserved was shown 3 in stock...they said was used by a costumer once and reduced price from 45 to 35
Yeah I replaced my Flymo hover with one of these and really regret it. The end result looks rubbish and for some reason it's difficult to push it around
Grass turd producer!
4 years down the line my flymo is going strong
Cut mine great and was a little wet too. Only mess was from my strimmer.
Same here. Leaves all the grass all over the garden. Clumps it up and doesn't collect it. Not very powerful either. Constantly slows down on thicker grass. Looks like a stalling car
Still available in Whitehaven. just bought mine
Nothing ..never in North East...
Picked up one just now at Harrow, had 4 more left
I got one yesterday in Runcorn at the shopping city. Bargain. Thanks OP.
Just got one from Union Street, Bristol. They had a few in store.
I have no idea as decided to purchase a different one from Argos outlet on eBay sorry I couldn’t help you x
Where do you use the code? Am going through checkout and at the point of entering card details and clicking on 'place your order' but not been given any option to enter a voucher code.
Flymo, I never had anything bad like that before. It’s a mystery why people keep buying this brand?
Stores only that have stock not online
What a steal!! Paid double secondhand last year HEAT
Just replaced this after 2 years, +1 replaced blade. Went with the Qualcast 1600W Electric Rotary Lawn Mower - 37cm @ homebase. £35 more but an extra years warranty and a few last trips back and forth with the bigger blade size!
I would avoid. We have just purchased this to cut a garden of around 14m x 10m. The biggest problem is that if there is any moisture at all in the grass it sticks to the underside. You need to scrape out the stuck grass underneath with a stick everytime you empty the back. Even when there is capacity in the bin, it often gets so full underneath that grass seeps out the side and leaves a line of cut grass along the edge of the line. Just FYI... it was bright sunshine and I can't remember when there was rain so we are not talking about damp grass. I mowed the previous weekend (7th) and on the 14th and the motor really struggled, I think that was more due to the grass stuck underneath. The ground is very uneven and due to how light the mower is it doesn't really create a very good finish (equal issue with the small, plastic roller at the end). The lines created are therefore not particularly pronounced. The cutting width is also narrow so you'll be up and down many more times than necessary. Ultimately, I'd get a metal roller mower if possible.
Can anyone vouch for this? Was about to pull the trigger on a different flymo on Amazon but don't know if I would just be paying extra for a gimmick (embarrassed) Flymo Easi Glide 300 Electric Hover Collect Lawn Mower, 1400 W
Agreed. I think this is possibly the cheapest cordless you'll find and similar size too - also at Homebase. I wouldn't go back to a corded one now after two seasons with a cordless. https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/uks-cheapest-cordless-lawnmower-9999-at-homebase-2923004
Good price heat added
And so what is your point Justinm ? Where and what are the differences you need to tell us
The 1200w (32v) Flymo chevron is only £45 in most places
