How is "our" EU money paying for French roads? This mentality of everyone out to get us is what's got us into the awful mess we are now in. Here's a secret - successive UK governments are to blame for the poor infrastructure and worsening public services in this country.

steford

Well your "road tax" doesn't pay for roads and if it did it would buy about an inch of motorway. In fact my wife's car has no yearly fee so can we drive on the roads in it? It's hard to criticise France when you look at the mess in Britain.

cholent

Yes to all the above. Besides your final couple lines. I've got nothing against any Europeans in this country. (besides travelers...) everyone should be entitled to emigrate to another county to improve their and their familes lives. I find it hilarious that you own a house in the UK and talk about our country like this!

cholent

Is not an app. But agree with you about France!

Me? I am not new I've been using this website for years the account is a little new but it's still been kinda old Anyway I do know how the world works, you don't, I am not going to bother to even try to change your mind since we're on different side of politics, I realised it's extremely to change someone's view Question, when on earth do you mean by saying "Full Life" ??

ImLost

^ this loser is new to the site and only comments on things. He lives a full life. If only he was an educated man. Then he might understand this world a bit better. But he's not. Such a shame we have to put up with the likes of him. Is there a block button on this? I'd rather not waste my time reading his boring dribble he leaves on the net.

Paradroid888

Thats not really a true statement, you could mislead people with that. The early (and perhaps later) One X do have a WiFi problem. Ita not just the Scorpio The connection regularly freezes up for quite a few seconds. Enough to ruin online gaming On a wired connection (or power line or WiFi extender) they are fine. It is an annoying flaw, and poor of Microsoft to have a quality issue like this, but it's a single problem, not "lots of problems". My machine is not noisy at all, partly because it never gets turned on due to the lack of games, but that's a different argument :)

I'm sailing with them for the first time this year and saw this deal but it's not really an attractive proposition and could just be a waste of a week's annual leave. An All Inclusive week in a 5* in Turkey would be less than that at that time of year and would include your tips and gratuities.

caevv

Not good for a family of 5

getmore4less

Good chance outside decks will be unusable and ports will be very cold. P&O also have a history missing ports in bad weather and not communicating with customers. shop around some TA will be a bit cheaper.

headanove

I don't think it would be all that bad in January, despite the potential for rough sea. At least after four or five nights I think you would feel quite settled. The ports aren't very nice. But at least within 20 - 30 miles there are some quite pretty towns and villages that can be nice and warm during June - July. The only potential disaster would be contracting noravirus four to five nights in, which would mean that you wouldn't enjoy the final days nor the return trip home.

I really want to buy this bundle but have a few concerns. First of all, I don't want to buying so many french codes for them not to work and I'd be 240 pound out of pocket for codes I cant use and secondly would the games that are bundled, have french box arts? The only reason is I would want to sell them, so I can make the purchase even cheaper? It's a great deal though and very tempted.

Duffman

Further to my pr voids comment. A guy on the help chat also informed me that if you need to make a claim on the warranty it would need to go back to France. I'm sure it wouldn't cause to much of a problem but worth begting in mind. I can't make my mind up!

Duffman

OK, so it's a decent deal, with or without the use of the cards (which are pretty much all out of stock now). But what do you put in as your billing 'region' as it doesn't have UK as an option?

benlegend89

Right. I’ve just ordered mine. It was a bit of a nightmare. For anyone doing this deal. You can only apply €250 euros to a French Microsoft account. Which you need to go through with the order. So don’t buy six CD keys as you’ll be left with an extra €50 like me!

benlegend89

So i've brought the codes, applied them to my account (a new French account), but can't seem to apply them at the checkout. Am i missing something?

Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) own Condor I had dealings with them in the 90s when they were sailing out of Torquay, they weren't affiliated with Brittany ferries then and as far as I know they aren't now but I'm out of the debt loop now. edit Bertz99 corrected his comment before I posted mine

Bertz99

Stand corrected on that bit - had seen a friend do Poole to Cherberg via Brittany, get my Brittany discount and be on a Condor - also some other tie in in the port ops. However, checking they are hedged fund owned and presently up for sale.

Remember to give way to the right unless you see this on your road meaning you have right of way. Absolutely ridiculous archaic rule. Also if turning right or left across traffic lights there are usually pedestrian crossing right on the lights so although you have green to go you still have to give way to pedestrians at the lights, another ridiculous and actually dangerous rule. Oh then there are the French drivers. The positives are the highways are really nice to drive without much traffic but the tolls can add up to quite a bit over long distances.

I find an epilator great for that kind of emergency.
