I have an LG 50" 4K TV that's only a few years old, it developed a fault outside of warranty and this 1 year warranty would put me off too!

Thanks, the one year warranty is the only thing putting me off, I have an old LG that is probably 10 years old and it’s going strong. I just can’t imagine the build quality is the same now and don’t want to be getting a new tv ever few years.

Only the 1y warranty with this I'm afraid. LG and Samsung make decent TVs, but stand behind them with just one year's warranty. Hisense and TCL give 2 years' warranty. Any TV bought from JL, Richer Sounds or Costco come with 5-6 years warranty. The short warranty is the only thing holding me back. Great deal still, heated.

Great deal !! Any idea how long is the warranty? Can seem to find it

Review link I think:

Seller refurbished- TV will not have been used for any longer then 28 days from new and will have very low hours usage on the panel. Box Contains: TV, Stand, Magic Remote, Power… Read more

I believe you can buy an LG service remote for a few quid and access the service menu which will tell you the number of hours the panel has been on to verify low usage.

Great first post. Thanks for posting

Couldn't buy a used Oled it's not like buying a car where you can see the mileage.

Good luck trying to convince hukd members about none existent burn in ,from a oled owner !!

Anyone worried about warranty and burn in: Burn in is almost a non issue nowadays, check rtings for objective research. In addition this panel has been dimmed significantly compared to the previous model, this doesn't look great on specs but this OLED is one of the least likely to burn in due to its pulled back brightness, less likely than more expensive CX model even.

Burn In !!!!!!

I haven't actually used the site, just stumbled across it and was debating if I should take the plunge and use my credit card which should cover me just in case

Waiting for the same. Checked it out and it seemed tooooo basic and with 0 trustpilot reviews I'll give it a pass for now

Have you used the site for large purchase. No trust pilot reviews and seems like an independent seller who has setup a Shopify store. Anyone who has used this site, would love to know your feedback 🙏

Update 1
It's come to our attention PowerDirect currently have really poor feedback here, and struggling to get items delivered, refunds or get any communications from merchant.

We've reviewed and have now suspended PowerDirect due to the above, we've expired the thread but left it open for future communications, if anyone has ordered.

Stay away from this company. If you research it you will see it’s a SCAM company. It doesn’t fulfil orders and there is no telephone service just emails that they never reply to. Lots of people have posted that they have not received their goods after payment. I’m still waiting for my TV, l saw this offer on here and bought it. Wish l had done my research first!

They are literally a scam company and you won't see either the product or a refund. Just contact your credit company now, why wait?

I've emailed them 3 times, with no reply. Their website sates they'll offer a refund after 14 days. I've given them 16 working days to repond now. Will be contacting my credit card company for a refund if I don't hear back this week.

Complete scam of a company, please refrain to post their deals here, I had to trigger section 75 to get refund

This TV is now showing as "In Stock - Limited Availability" rather than "Special Order". I ordered on Monday last week on the credit card just in case the reviews really do reflect the reseller. I think my order has just been dispatched as I've not got anything on order but just recieved a yodel tracking email. If it get's delievered, great!

Thank you. I'll probably give them call to see. Desperately need a new TV for the bedroom.

I tried asking Richer Sounds to price match over the phone (just after Christmas) for the full HD LM6300 version. They said they wouldn't match the Currys price as the warranty is way shorter there, but they would split the difference, which I accepted (figured it was worth it for the 6yr warranty + better CS). Its a great TV - and yes it does have freeview play + all the normal streaming apps (iPlayer, ITV, 4od, 5, Disney+, Amazon, Netflix + a bunch of others). Can integrate it with Alexa/Google play too (so "Alexa turn on the kitchen TV", "Alexa, mute the kitchen TV" etc works) I agree its been cheaper before, but I couldn't be bothered to wait who-knows-how long to save a few quid when I wanted it sooner! No idea how easy it is to see the difference in quality between the 720p LM630BPLA and the 1080p LM6300PLA - as I couldn't see the 2 next to each other, but I couldn't bring myself to spend this kind of money on a 720p TV, and very happy with the 1080p one!

sparkykev I've been looking at this for my elderly aunt that doesn't have internet, it was £180 for weeks before Christmas but went up to £200 last week. Does anyone know if the smart tv's posted above would work without connecting to wifi ok without flashing up on the screen all the time bleating about loss of connection? Full hd 32" non smart tv's seem to be rare as hens teeth these days.

This is a good thread for me as I’m looking for a full HD 32. I’m tempted by the Sony KDL but the price is putting me off. I have to say the prices this side of Christmas are not as great as I was hoping.

I managed to get the 6300 model from Currys, when it just dipped below the £200 mark back in June last year. Nice little TV for the bedroom. Perfect for us as we previously had a freesat box, so we were able to get rid of that and put the Sat cable straight in the back of the telly. Wifi is great for the usual streaming services. Cant fault it really.
