Doing some research on this it sounds like the cable needs to support 'DP Alt Mode' for it to work. I'll probably try ordering one from Amazon and it if doesn't work send it back. The HP USB hub is a bit pricey at £45.

Yeah apparently they’ll be a version with snapdragon and also an intel version. I was hoping it would be a valid surface pro replacement. I use an iPad Pro permanently at the moment but work have just shifted to using Microsoft groups and the iOS experience for it is dreadful.

Will it fit the old original ds though
It is actually a bit bland. Could have a bit of Green Hill Zone printed on the bag or something.
I’m an amateur gamer at best. Generic cases for me then.
I do cringe when they put "Pro Gamer".
I bought the black one of these back when I had an original 3DS. I since upgraded to the New 3DS and it fit no problems. The carry case has space for two games and is of decent thickness to protect the console in a short fall. The carry case is a great size and can fit another 3DS or a 16 in 1 game carry case thing.

Overall this is a great case and well worth the price tag.

Wife got one for Xmas. We were out at soft play, got back to car and couldn't find keys. Tried the tile , heard nothing but said the keys were near by so tried going back into soft play. After a but if searching under tables I turned out the hole nappy bag and low and behold the tile and keys were at the bottom. Not sure about the sound insulation properties of pampers but even kids (2 and 4 years) with their hearing didn't hear it, so you know, it's got limitations.

Either way hot for price for one key

The Tile pro’s are actually bigger all round than the Lapa. The tile mate slightly thinner (but slightly bigger length and width). The Tile slim is thinner but much bigger length and width. Also the lapa is louder than both the Tile mate and tile slim (not quite as loud as the Pro though).

Having had 4 Tiles I won’t buy another that’s all I can say but then again I haven’t replaced them with anything either but I would have bought the Lapa if it had been readily available at the time.

Takes a CR2032 so replaceable.I don't often lose things but recently I've found myself leaving things behind. I blame it on either age or stress. Either way if I walk out of range then now I'll be able to turn back around before I've gone too far. The other month I found myself getting 1.5 hours away from work before realising I had my work keys on me and my home keys were at work... So that was an extra 3 hours travelling that day.

Lapa would be preferable to Tile in my opinion. It’s waterproof and has a replaceable battery.

My boss will either be very impressed or concerned...
In an effort to get gearbest to sort issues some info for everyone.
I have bought lots of stuff from them and generally good, but when it goes wrong its a mountain to climb.

However recent android box went wrong. First remote then box. Gearbest customer service woes started.
Offered a couple of quid refund and no joy, or even understanding of English through gearbest ticket system, next to useless.
Escalated to paypal, eventually full offer of refund.
Eventually through paypal offered a UK return address for info (gearbest ticket system contradicted what they were saying through paypal)

Weiwen Luo
Address:
Woodgate Business Park,
Clapgate Lane,
Bartley Green
B32 3BZ
Birmingham
United Kingdom
Phone: 07780841791

They then repeatedly refused delivery from courier. One could interpret this as a device to 'pretend' to offer refund then refuse to accept the returned goods. No goods return=no refund to pay.
Only when I refused final paltry offer from through paypal, (after they had previously offered full refund) did the return that mysteriously had been repeatedly rejected, was now accepted, on the day Paypal ruled in my favour for full return of money.
coincidence?
doubtful.

So if everyone uses paypal for payment and escalation, keeps full records, they will compel gearbest to fully refund. If everyone does this then maybe gearbest will sort it properly.
Hope this helps.

Having messaged eBay through Facebook they’ve said there is no way to opt out of this. You just have to go through and manually change each listing once they add the offers option.

Yes same here - apparently they are trialling it. Very annoying!

I definitely wouldn't want my listings modified without my approval but best offer has changed the way I list a lot of items. I now tend to bump up the buy it now price and set listings to auto decline to anything lower than the price I want. I'm consistently surprised at how often stuff sells for the full buy it now price and auto decline means I never get pestered with offers lower than I would consider.

I'm not defending eBay forcing best offer on sellers at all but it may be worth trying out. It's certainly bumped my income from eBay by a significant percentage.
