I haven't yet as I've not found how to get one in the UK. USA seems to allow people to use an esim and share their phone data plan. I'm going to contact EE soon as they're advertising Esim on the new Apple Watch. If that's not successful (maybe they'll be awkward and make it Apple only for now), I'll probably just get a Nano sim as there's little difference AFAIK

andrew08uk

Lucas4... Have you got an e-sim for it, how do you go about getting the 4g bit lol

afroylnt

this looks to have much better heart rate functions over the orginal hauwei smartwatch; is that correct? from the graphic you can see what it was over a period of time?

TheNotoriousDHG

That used a 20% off code which expired at midnight on the day it was posted, sadly.

lucas4

Bought the 4G version around a month ago and I'd highly recommend it. NFC for Android Pay is great, battery life is OK, heart rate sensor is pretty accurate. I like Android Wear 2.0 overall for functionality but there is definitely room for improvement in some areas and I still find Fitbit's (closed) fitness tracking ecosystem better overall than Google Fit.

Winmau Blade 5 Bristle Dartboard £21.99 Argos

Found 19th Dec 2017Found 19th Dec 2017
I was searching for a dartboard on here and came across this https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dartboard-blade-5-dartboard-20-off-argos-2549-2849794 It’s now £21.99
jonnypb

A lot!!!!!! The wires on the cheaper one are awful, they're much thicker and also have the big staples in which means you got lots of bounce outs. Darts end up getting blunt and darts end up sticking in the floor, not ideal if the board is positioned above a wooden floor. The blade board has very thin wires and they're designed to greatly reduce the bounce outs. I dare say that the bristles are better in the blade 5 as well, although for occasional use you won't notice. Even for a casual home player, the blade board for an extra £6 is well worth it.

MrDB

Ok

robo989

Turns out they were but not until after the post where you were. Anyway plastic shafts are fine they just look tacky as hell. There's no danger with staples and thick wire, the issue is how annoying it is when a dart bounces off. That's not scary as you put it as a dart doesn't ricochet at a 180 degree angle.

pinkchick1987

I was!! And I appreciate it, thank you

I also have broad feet and I find Lake shoes broad enough.

jobibear

I've been wearing my dbh m1.0 for months on my cycle tour of Europe. Should I buy these as back up? Loving the dhb shoes.

Cycling_chum

No - when I researched these they come up narrow. If you are broad Shimano and Northwave are good options.

polg

Are Diadora a wide fitting shoe? I'm looking for a pair for my road bike but I've a fairly broad foot and don't really want to spend any more than this.

chrisbass

i had some diadora cycling shoes recently ad the quality is pretty poor, the sole started coming away within a couple of months of use.

Northerndave

I think Strava not being on it is a massive miss. Would have been delightful to go for a run / cycle ride and let the watch gather the data rather than have to carry a phone Saying that if it hits £200 on Boxing Day I'd still buy it, just for the ability to change the dial and wear a new watch every day.

Northerndave

What't the time ? (shock)

m1cr4

I've had the watch for nearly a year. Hardly wear it. Limited apps and no native whatsapp support. So to see links/pics/vids on whatsapp you need to check on phone. Also mine has a loose bezel so makes an annoying tinny sound every time you touch bezel. Sent to samsung, but they didnt fix it.. said the engineer didnt think it was a problem. :( Rubbish samsung customer support

Sounds like the perfect first game for your nephew ! 👌

nosugarthanx

Thanks, my little nephew is an Everton fan so I will see if there are any stocking fillers for him. Whilst they are not my team I give them credit for being a family friendly club. When his grandfather took him to his first game when he was about 5 he mentioned to the guy on the turnstile that it was his first ever game. Before the game kicked off they flashed up a welcome message to him on the scoreboard and the crowd chanted his name. He was thrilled, as you can imagine

salemboy99

sorry mate. Im in the same boat as u r. ordered one of these as I couldn't find a Miband 2 for <15 or better.

sabresonic

That is the one I was actually looking for (Mi Band 2), probably like many others on here was hoping to get it from Gearbest for £7.63 a few weeks ago only to be left disappointed when the code expired in a matter of minutes...then for £11.49 a couple of weeks ago but again the code seemed to expire very quickly. Are these still to be had for c£12? I'd be grateful if you could let me know where they are available, I can't seem to find them for less than £20?

salemboy99

Mi band 2 at <12 quid is a no-brainer. These 'morefit' brands come in when gearbest keeps the price hiked up and ~1 month to deliver, particularly with christmas around the corner.

robs

bought one of these when they were down to around £11 delivered https://www.gearbest.com/smart-watches/pp_362705.html?utm_source=tt_de took about 4 weeks to arrive but so far so good - easy to sync with phone etc. You can purchase the bands for couple quid delivered too - links at bottom of the same page

I have yet to try the Decathlon helmets but giro is a very respected brand and the cheaper models such as This One will skimp on weight and features but not safety.
