All Glue Discounts, Offers and Sale - April 2018
A deal not to be sniffed at!
First upload. I will take this on board for my next upload :)
Great price if just for the pritt sticks.....
You haven't said which branch of Tesco. This deal can be found in Atherton store.
I had this parkside glue gun, it only lasted few month, for me it didn't work. However I would recommend ronsel Brand, mini glue gun , costs around £5 or less.
I've been using the Weylon glue sticks from Amazon and they stick very well to the car paint, just make sure you remove any car polish before using or they won't stick as well (acetone or isopropyl alcohol works well)
Very right, Can you recommend strong glue sticks for paintless dents ,i got paintless dent tools but glue gun is crap and perhaps the glue sticks too.I will try this cordless glue gun.
I got a cheap rolson one with barely any instructions and wasn't sure what difference the temperature switch made. From what I now understand, it's to make the glue runnier so you have longer to reposition the item you are sticking. Is that right? Do they all start dripping a bit when you leave it to heat up? My one does it quite a bit
Damn it! I don't need one, but I've just got to have one! :D
Thanks. looks like a few products in the Gorilla Glue range are reduced, managed to pick up this this and the gel for under a fiver!
SAw two types in Wellingborough but higher price.
Thanks for sharing op
Oops ....Can't find it
Not adding them to the basket for me :S
Thanks op ordered....have some heat
Not a great deal at all.
The craft set on its own is on for £5 on its own and the stationary one is for £6, so not a massive saving to be fair.
For anyone that's looking for a quality adhesive, have a look for "q-bond". It's fantastic stuff. Yeah, yeah it's more expensive but it's easily free strongest stuff I've ever used and you can deal the bottle up and use as and when needed. It normally comes with bottles of powder you can fill cracks/small gaps up with - just drip free glue on and it'll fuse everything!
Bought a twin pack these a while ago, and as has been said a few times above, they dry out and clog up after a couple of uses. Not only that, but I found the strength to be hopeless too. Tried to glue a broken bracket on a satellite speaker (ie: tiny speaker) stand, put the speaker on 24 hours later and the bracket promptly broke again (annoyed) Went for a Gorilla Glue twin pack following that and the speaker stand is still rock solid and the tube itself it still easy to open with no signs of drying or clogging. Sorry OP - not slating the deal - just the glue itself is crap ;)
this doesnt clog that quick and it has a longer tube making it safer, poundland ones are metal which can go everywhere is pressed too hard. (pirate)
this is the one brand and container type I haven't had problems with when it comes to superglue had a bottle for a few years now and still use it from time to time the tip isn't glued shut and it's easy to open
I find the problem with Super glue is that they are one use items because they seal up soon after opening. So I just buy the 10 for £1 ones available from Poundland.
Online offer until 28/02 or while stock lasts. Not sure about in store offer.
How long will this price stick for?
A small ring around the toilet seat and you've got hours of enjoyment watching your loved ones get stuck to the seat....get in.
Reduced at my local tesco but 1.59 from £3.
I normally buy 100 glue sticks from Lidl or Aldi at £2.99, just keep an eye out
I bought glue sticks from aldi and they dont fit my glue gun. So annoying now because I am going to have to buy the aldi glue gun
That's wrong I have a mains powered one that is 7mm, everyone should check the size the glue gun takes before ordering as they can all differ.
The mains powered glue guns tend to take the bigger sticks (10mm or 11mm I think) while it tends to be the cordless ones that take these. As an aside,I have used a cheap, nasty mains glue gun for years and finally bought a Bosch cordless one - which takes these sticks - and it's worth it £4 versus £30 but if you use it more than once a year...
Does this fit the IKEA glue gun?
You should get a glue gun to mend your glasses and stop yourself falling into a time warp.
bad eyesight ,.
I would assume so?
is this in all poundlands? their website does not show this...
I am not prejudiced but glued down itl get stolen in liverpool
Yes! Now I just need to find things to glue
I'm stuck on whether to buy this or not
Bargain @AndyJ78 this is good stuff!
Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about the home-brew version!
Point taken. I think the value of Sugru is in not so much in what it contains, rather in what it could enable: saving money by repairing instead of replacing (and reducing landfill!)
About a year. As stated above, sticking it in the fridge increases shelf life. I've used Sugru a lot, but would struggle finding a use for 8 sachets. Usually give a few away.
Anyone know what kind of shelf life it has? It's the sort of thing I need a bit of once a year I guess but don't want to chuck the bulk of it in the bin because it's expired.
Best thing since sliced bread. Mended a cracked shower tray over a year ago still working fine save me hundreds £
Received mine! They're rather large!! (excited)
Some quite good glue for your glue gun :P
Just had my despatch email (highfive)
Shitongda glue (shock)
What did I just buy?
Had one do the same after about a year, I only use it rarely so big bottles aren't much good for me. Saying that these are nearly the same price as the little ones!
Great glue ,but didn't keep for too long as it went hard in its bottle .Kept it in a container inside the house so kept dry and free from cold and frost .
Did you crash site
Heard excellent things about this glue. Good spot op. Have heat!
They are still in there too (y) loads of them. Saw them yesterday in my local, bought some more for stocking fillers for my daughter and one for me
Can't believe they are so cheap!
Heat added (y)
They also had Vegas Nay range which is fuller and more luxurious from £3.99
That seemed to silence the non believers (lol)
wooohooo well done. 8)
Sorry to be pedantic but would there be any chance of proof of this? I think if you could offer some we'd all feel a little better that these deals are actually real.
yay nice one. 8)
Fantastic glue, used this to stick my shark fin back on my car. Takes some time to settle but does a great job.
Is this heat resistant?
This is thicker than poundland cyano
Gorilla make some great products, but super glue is super glue (i.e Ethyl cyanoacrylate) Unless you are super excited about the little brush, get a pack of 8 for a £1 at pounland
Wow 6p cheaper then Amazon
Which nails are they? Superdrug stock quite a few varieties
I didn't put up the picture XD
I'm pretty sure that's a picture of the lincoln store
Thats not the Oxford Road store...
But it doesn't say on their website about this survey?
TTS are a company selling products for Early Years, Primary & Secondary Schools. We order from them loads at work, so can vouch that they are a valid company. www.tts-group.co.uk
Uh there's no such company as TTS festive treats and anyone can create a survey monkey so this doesn't look legit...
Agreed. I’ll get it for this price tho!
Yeah i thought that but can't imagine there being lot's of glitter on the stick. It's free so someone will have fun with it
Barry Glitter (shock) ?? Any relation?!
Thanks just ordered
