Just found this is my local Currys. Advertised price is £219 but it’s really £99.99. I’ve checked and there’s a voucher code online for £120 off instore and online. Not sure why it… Read more

i wanna make music videos using a drone for mobile recording. any tips on what drone to get for this?

Just looking at this myself, but using the drone with the camera cuts down flight time to 3 mins...

It comes with two batteries and the second battery is 11 mins so 20 mins in total - not bad for a small drone :)

Yeh I was thinking about the fly more combo too. Thanks again!

I enjoy mine. Took it on holiday to the Philippines and the footage is amazing. I would recommend the fly more combo as battery life is a bit short otherwise with just one. I would say though if you can get the first gen Mavic pro on sale then would get that even without fly more combo. Depends how much you want to fly but would prefer that if I had the choice again.

Thanks OP Looks a good price for what you get. However, the reviews suggest there's too much lag for the FPV to be useable May still be tempted to get one anyway

Looking at pic there is battery bottom left?

Looks interesting, but I believe it is limited to just the internal battery so you'd have to recharge frequently.

Keplar Immersion VR goggles at Sainsbury’s £5
LocalLocalFound 18th AugFound 18th Aug
I highly doubt these sold at original price of £30. Saw a load of them at Bolton store. Perhaps worth trying for the novelty at just £5 or as a stocking filler.

you cant go wrong for a fiver, but the slightest bump on these and one or both of the lenses will fall out, can be repaired with a bit of craft glue.

i actually regret not getting a pair now

I bought one for that price a couple of weeks ago in the Sunderland store, last one on shelf or I would have posted here. I thought it was store specific then. I haven't tried them yet so cannot comment on quality - but for £5 .... Bargain.

Store specific I assume?

Wide view, never leak or fog if you have the band at the correct tension - not too lose, not too tight, and "extremely" comfortable. Negatives - they are not a small shape and the headband strap ends have a tendency to slip and loosen every time they are used ( doesn't Speedo carry out proper testing on the designs ? ). Anyway I solved that by putting a few very small plastic cable ties on the fitting and it's now ok. I bought two pairs a year ago, left one in the pool just last friday and no-one handed them in, so buying another pair. If people have bought something, and then go back and buy another, it's the best recommendation.

Hot for me although swimming 10-20k is too much to me (excited)

You mean, YOU'RE a diver? ;)

They won’t stop people drowning.....just like they won’t stop people being nob heads either 🤭

Will they stop me drowning?

1080p? (skeptical)

For those of you that purchased the Drone in Euros. How much did your bank charge for service?

I was planning on selling the googles too, but after knowing that you can plug in any HDMi source, I'm thinking to use it for gaming or possibly watching films. The resolution is one of the best on the market it seems. Has anyone found any good deals for getting extra batteries and the smart charger?

you will get £300 for the goggles, I sold mine on ebay due to the fact I will only use them every blue moon and they are not so portable to carry if traveling. having said that I was tempted to keep them as they do look amazing and if I want to try them out later I am sure I can pick up a pair of used ones for much less 6 -12 months later.

So the question is to keep the Goggles or sell them? If I am honest I was hoping to purchase the fly more pack with the Air at a reduced cost after the now delayed launch of 'Mavic 2'. Not really ever used anything like the Goggles before and was thinking of selling them for £200+ and obtaining an extra battery or 2. What are you guys doing and what would you suggest?

I've already had a free trial of prime personally in the past. Do they offer any subsequent free prime trials or just the one?

I think that tricks been closed. Now you sign up for free trial of Prime. Order, then cancel immediately. To cancel, go to Your Account, then Prime Settings and click "do not upgrade". The trial will run its course, even after you've said you won't pay.

Park flying today, I'm still using box goggles. But it's getting close to some decent ones. Fancy the HDO's but all my cameras are 16.9 so the ev200d or the aomway's would be spot on like the idea of the big fov on the ev200d so it's really wait to see

Spent the summer flying L.O.S awaiting ev200 news. Can't wait for fpv, this is a great price but I'm gonna hold on despite the temptation! Heat given.

Getting quite good reviews on the ev200d but getting some critical reviews on screens and optics.

Fatshark reliability and aftersales service vs. the new EV200 with larger FOV switchable 16x9 or 4x3 display and better diversity receiver options to mention only some of the extra features which should be available soon for about the same price. The competitors are catching up by not launching new fpv goggles without development, sending pre-production samples to reviewers for testing and suggestions on improvements to functions and fittings, like making sure the nose aperture is large enough to fit most faces on the final production version. Lets hope Fatshark remains the Apple of FPV not the GoPro of FPV. XD

The connected cable for the flying drone must be bloody long.

Yes. Womens heads tend to be smaller than mens, but larger than childrens. Most goggles, you can only adjust the straps. These should be a bit smaller around the eyes should should be a better fit.

I stopped wearing mine when the S rubbed off :o

I think it's probably another set of goggles on the rear!

Females see what they want to see, blokes see what they need to see.....( runs and hides)

not sure you are understanding the point of the drone FPV. it’s not VR.

if not it seems like dji deliberately cut out this functionality from their app in order to trick you into wasting an extra 500 quid (or ooo 400 on sale) on a single-app VR headset

does what mention allow you to connect to a phantom drone? or move the camera just by looking up and down etc?

What does this do that a google daydream with your smartphone can't do? why is it priced higher than a full VR headset like the oculus rift?

It's a kid toy. Kids toys tend to be bit silly. If you aren't a kid or like things bit silly then this ain't for you.

Thats answered first in the other response.

No I don't, so what's the point of them?

Without the goggles it wouldn't look like a Minion, which a kid would love the first time they see it. "I mean, you're going to want to eat the egg, right?" Easy remove them before eating? You don't eat the shell do you?

The idea is its a child's themed item so cute and FUN. Goggles will look cool when added 8)
