That's a fair point, which I hadn't considered. My daughter would probably pick these over a standard ball too.

They are terrible as "real" golf balls but.... my kids 8 and 9 like to use them as they are fun. As they are learning, they enjoy them when practicing. They were a tenner from American golf earlier this year. For real they use older dx2. Anything that makes it fun and keeps the interested....

I think that they've misunderstood their target demographic.

Er - No Thanks :(

Wilson Ultra 15 Pack Golf Balls £8.75 RRP £14.99 @ Sports Direct (+£4.99 P&P)
Found 12th MayFound 12th May
Wilson Ultra Golf Balls 15 Pack, usually 2 for £20 in store but £8.75 online.

Decent balls for price unless your a pro

Agreed. I’d argue that unless you off scratch, you won’t see a tangible benefit of playing a pro-v1 to a mid range ball

Always stood me in good stead and i'm off single figures so can't be that bad eh! (y)

These are cheap for a reason.

If your getting prepared and looking for a fun Father’s Day gift. ‘This set of six golf balls features the flags of the British Isles.’
Get dealGet deal

Just those of a certain persuasion over there, and over here too for that matter, would only ever use the term 'these islands' for that very reason.

Canadians aren't American but they are in the Americas 'Eire' unless recently moved location is securely a British Isle (y)

There is also one missing

Eire, Ivory Coast, what's the difference? Neither are British

Why is there a flag of a foreign country there?

Missed out on most of the Amazon choccy deals :( Managed to get the Milk Chocolate Assorted Foiled Balls as they seemed to stick around longer than the rest. Anyone know what they are like? No pictures on the listing so hard to tell how they will be, in two minds about whether worth keeping the order...

Cheers, bought em to be used as wedding favours

I'll bite. They are recovered balls from lakes and then sold cheap.

£10 in Worcester, but a couple of the balls are so water damaged they are only good for the bin. still OK for a tenner

I've always wondered, why are they called lake balls?

I prefer tesco lake balls. every one of them ends up in bushes anyway

Got mine free with my subscription to Today's Golfer. But that's a great price.

I think these are the 2015 model. The £27.99 are this years model. Great deal even with £5 delivery.

They are different balls though if you check the description. The more expensive are for top players basically and others are for mid to high handicappers. still a decent deal though

Thanks, I'll get some for my brand new girlfriend. I heard a few whispering in the bar that she likes to play a round. I hope she's impressed.

Just started golf and these should see me through a round or 2. Great for starting out. Plenty left around Manchester!

Couldnt find online

They seem good quality. The vast majority look brand new, out of the 24, I'd say 3 or 4 are a little faded but other than that, all good!

still £9.99 online, whats the quality like as they are used/recycled
