Is this gen 1 or gen 2?

If you read some comments from past deals for Pixelbook, same seller, you will notice people were not happy with the way the device received looked. Many wanted their money back and for a short period of time, HUKD did not allowed this seller here.

Yeah I've noticed mine isn't as reactive like it used to be but no other issues yet

Yup and they have 2 year warranty too. In fact I put money on it these will be this price again on black Friday

None yet, but I've escalated with CS as of Friday, will apparently take up to 5 days to get back to me. I would suggest people do the same.

Did anyone get any updates on their Nest Hub delivery?

CPW have told me: 'there is no stock available for the free gift, normally it is sent to you with the device. Once we have stock available you will be notified and advised as to when you will be receiving your free gift.' It does not appear to be possible to find or order the Google Nest Hub on their website so it seems plausible. On the plus side my £10 has at least tracked through Quidco.

Has anyone that ordered this actually got their hub or a response from CPW on it?

Have expired the deal because of the issues cpw are facing, apologies people.

Seems to be a 24 month contract on that deal - You can do better by getting the same SIM-only deal via moneysavingexpert I think. (unless you can cancel the contract?)

I was/am interested in this so called into the local Currys to have a look at the phone as I've never used stock Android and I also wanted to see how the phone performed. They'd couldn't have been more unhelpful if they'd tried! All of the pixel phones on display were turned off (Every other phone was on) and couldn't be turned on. Finally got hold of an assistant who wouldn't demo the phone (wouldn't say why) and said try another android phone "because they're all about the same" ! Very strange attitude :(

I started buying in to wireless charging 5 years ago. I've got several docks etc. but for me it just faded away, I lost interest or found it a bit gimmicky in not certain, but I just stopped using them. a traditional cable is straight forward and easy and is my preference. I reckon you wouldn't find the change back to a cable that difficult

A phone that will get Android 12 and 13 early doors, possibly go to 14 too, with monthly security updates and unlimited high quality uploads to Google Photos that won't count toward your account storage? Ignore the spec sheet, see how smooth and reliable the software experience is and the quality of the photos. I see the small size as an advantage, that's a personal preference.

End of the line phone, non 5G, Small Screen and Not so useful cut down version of next Hub , how it's that hot 🔥 and impressive?

Damn, looks like I’ve just missed out on this deal :S . Was hoping to get another at this price

It's finished now unfortunately

Hi, quick question. I've just logged onto my Student Beans account and I can't see a code specific for the Nest Hub? There's links for various broadband packages etc. Am I overlooking something obvious? Thanks!

If anyone has a spare discount code would appreciate it - eager to get another hub !

No takers out there :(

New Nest Doorbell (battery) + Nest Hub (2nd gen) £239.98 @ Google Store
124° Expired
Made hot 17th AugMade hot 17th Aug
Just launched new battery powered google doorbell with discount when bought with Nest Hub(Gen2) Or £10 per month with zero interest rate.

Looking at the installation instructions it looks the same as the 1st gen. But better to double check yourself or even contact nest support to clarify with them.

Do you think it’s a direct swap with gen 1? I have my gen 1 all wired but I ran crappy doorbell wire way to thin and I had a break in the wire solder to get working. I don’t really want to touch this wiring

After reading more about it, it supports local processing for AI tasks like object recognition etc. Also it has local storage to record when your internet goes down. I'm not too fussed about 24/7 recording as event recording is sufficient enough. Will see what the deals are like at Black Friday, so it has moved up to a "nice upgrade to have" rather than a must upgrade for me.

It's a downgrade it doesn't record 24/7 even with nest aware only events. I'll wait for V3. But the paint is starting to peel off my gen 1 had it 4 years now

Wired installation If you choose the optional wired installation for your Nest Doorbell (battery) by connecting it to your existing doorbell wires (8 to 24 VAC, 10 VA, 50/60 Hz transformer), your existing wired doorbell chime can ring when someone presses the button. You can also get a notification on your phone and on your Google Assistant-enabled speakers and displays.
