New, Not sure on this one in total honesty, but next best is £299 at laptops direct. Display Type OLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colours, Size 6.0 inches, 92.9 cm2 (76.3% scre… Read more

I have one and it is a great phone, camera great too, battery life 24hrs, recommend!

Market is poor for tech goods currently unless it's PC parts. You'll have a more difficult time shifting a phone over the Summer. You'll need to be patient as people are waiting on the restrictions to be fully lifted then go literally mental over having a holiday so the money is waiting for the holidays etc.

paid 100 for one 6 months ago. brilliant camera

Qwikfone selling 'like new A+' 3a xl's for £142 delivered (was £135 a couple of weeks ago but I think they've sold a fair few of these so have pushed the price up). Cannot post as a deal on here as they don't have enough Trustpilot feedback yet (has to be 500+ ratings apparently) but the feedback they have got seems pretty good for what it's worth. Just another option for those interested in this model.

in which case i'd use ebay, even their crazy fees (when no promo is on) you'll at least get a sale even if you come out with the same price after fees

If voxi is still £270 for the 4a, I imagine the latter is worth saving for?

Pretty sure this was already posted and sold out from the previous posting.

You're welcome, hope you enjoy it

Excellent!! Thank you, I've looked at the A71 and it seems just perfect for my needs so I'll be grabbing one of those :)

If you're specifically after a budget phablet with great screen I think Samsung has you covered with A71 - or that 2nd hand 1+7 pro I mentioned, a much better phone; Samsung Note 10+ would be ideal but almost impossible to find in good condition for less than £400, so I'd go for last year's A71. Huawei's Mate 20x is of course, still an option in shops, closest to tablet size

Can I probe you (and anyone else who wants to chip in) for further guidance.. (embarrassed) Can you suggest a not-crap but not-expensive OLED (or whatever is best) screen phone or tablet I can use to substitute my iPhone whilst it's in for repairs..? My plan is to get something I can use as a phone with my Plusnet SIM - but with a bigger nicer screen so when the iPhone comes back, I'd continue to use as as a tablet or mini tablet for general purpose stuff

For me OLED is big deal because I use phone in low light a lot You're welcome, if you don't mind buying used you can get good OLED, hi-res screens for less than £200, batteries could be fairly worn but you're looking for a short-term replacement as per what you said Brand new I'd look at Nokias too for same reasons as Motorola, though they're better supported. Problem is, at budget level they mostly do LCD but you could get a 2nd hand Nokia 9 with an excellent OLED - maybe a bit over £200. That phone still getting monthly security updates, probably till early next year. I'd also consider a used Pixel 3XL, similar price territory, quality screen; 1+ flagships from last 2-3 years, especially 7 Pro vfm-wise

Sadly it is not available for delivery and is OOS in most places :(

Hmmm this or a refurb Xperia 1 (primarily want for video...)?

A single generation leap isn't usually worth it. Having said that the 4a has a much much better SOC, faster storage, better camera setup, better screen. If taking the plunge i wouldd go for 4a 5.

I've owned both previously and unless the camera - and better battery life, but not massively so - are particular issues then I'd stick with the 5t. Processor is quicker, also has an amoled and pretty clean software. I loved my 5t and probably wish I'd kept it. Camera is far superior on the Pixel though.

Is this a worthwhile upgrade from a OnePlus 5t? Or should I look at new models?

Twit? You Pixel fanboys just lack class. My tester 5G 120Hz 765G phone that cost me £175 is 12 month old, better and will still be getting support in 2022 and beyond. The almost 5 year old Samsung S7 is still getting support, so I don't see the point you are trying to make. With a SD670 onboard and a long list of mediocre specs you don't have to look very hard to beat this at £234.

15 months and for the price, you won't get a better. The point being that even though its the older model, it's still getting support. Twit.

Great phone for the money. I still have my Pixel XL in mint condition. Works flawlessly but not worth selling as I'll get peanuts for it and it's great as a backup/satnav.

I can only assume it was the update because I've had such excellent battery life, it got better and better with the last few updates then last night I applied and restarted, charged up over night and early morning it was dropping lower than usual. I hope it gets sorted out.

Haven't applied mine.

I got the December update on my pixel 3a last night and battery life seems terrible since... it's in the 50% region whereas it's usually still around 70% at this time of day. I hope they sort it out.

Pixel 2 XL Vs Pixel 3a XL comparison. They look pretty similar imo.. though, according to that page, apparently the 3a is as wide as it is tall ;) I have a Pixel 2 XL and really want to upgrade for a smaller form factor, but after comparing all the models after the 2 XL I think I'll be waiting for the 5 to drop in price before I move on. Also, if it matters to you, the 2 XL has the best PPi and screen resolution of any of the Pixels released after it. The higher the PPi and the lower the screen size, the better the image quality. Though, apparently after 300 PPi it's barely noticeable to the human eye for text, but can make a difference in photos. Also note, I'm not an expert in this area so there may be other factors involved. Edit: technically, any Pixel phone released after the 2 XL would be an upgrade.

Is this an upgrade on the Pixel 2 XL?
