This sauce has a nice kick without the insane afterburn really nice to make dips with. Both have been reduced to a reasonable £2 each at Tesco
I love this sauce, but it has been creeping up in price at Tesco this year. Watch out for the sugar content though - unlike pretty well all other hot sauces, this one has 18% sugar (for no good reason from what I can see)!

Totally agree, I am French and I had never seen in France, but this brand is widely sell abroad (Baltic countries, UK,...).
We do hundred of different alcohol in France and really good ones, but we are not recognized for doing great vodka especially Cheap'stoff vodka
EDIT: I just read the french Wikipedia page, this Vodka is really a joke. It have been created by an american in France in 1997, who wanted to use the french prestige of luxe to sell it abroad... (funny, the english page is a bit less clear)

(This quote of mine is from the Korol 0.5L Vodka thread, from Lidl, but relevant as I'm mentioning this vodka and its Aldi alternative hotukdeals.com/com…923 )

Was discussing this (Korol Vodka) with my sister (she loves her vodkas, particularly the Grey Goose/Belvedere/Ciroc a-likes).

Ciroc is still her number one, but she wasn't that keen on this one, will have to ask her why.

She also mentioned the Aldi Saint Gérmont Premium French Vodka (£13.99 - a "Grey Goose"-alike which is competing with Lidl's Ignis French Grain Vodka). Apparently the Aldi vodka gave her a thumping hangover, something you don't really expect with the smooth, many-times-distilled clear spirits - which she always drinks with clear mixers to try to avoid the rough morning after. She also said it tasted harsh, not smooth as expected, and she reckons Lidl's version is miles better.

She may have had a bad batch or something?

She insists that Lidl's Ignis French Grain is still only a Xmas/winter special (same as last year) so it won't be found in stores all year round - not sure if that will change.

I drank this in the USA, as it was available in the Walmart for a reasonable price, and not generic sub-pils type drink.

Found it to be over-hoppy for an IPA but I still enjoyed it as a beer.

For me it has the right amount of heat to be able to taste what you are actually eating rather than burning your tongue and taking away the taste of the food.
This is quite nice but very garlicky.
Maybe personal preference but I bought some of this a few months ago, it tastes awful compared to other hot sauces and really is not hot at all.

When you get treated like crap by the supermarket companies managers/public anyway why not. Staff are always gonna get the offers as soon as they see them before customers and the stuff that goes out on sale on the shop has probably already been passed over by staff or they are skint which is normally the case, its the perk of a crap job then why not discount on top of that. Initially I was refused a resale as the clerk immediately took it away and gave it to a younger member of staff who suddenly started laughing as he rung it through another till, presumably for himself.I then demanded to see a manager and got into quite a heated argument. Fortunately I wrote my name on the back of the box and when the manager saw it I was promptly resold it.

Yes, they certainly don't appear to be a trustworthy company to deal with.

What I find quite alarming is the sheer amount of these things that they've sold in one day. I checked them earlier and a lot of people were buying them in multiples of 8 and a few were even doubling up on those 8's. We're less than half an hour into the 16th Nov and 17 more people have purchased since midnight alone. I know being placed on here generates some extra business, but these numbers seem a bit fishy to me.
