All Goose Discounts, Offers and Sale - June 2018
Your right it's gone back up to £19.50 now
Can u post the link as I only see them for £19.50....thanks
Can you let me know where these are £15 i could do with buying another one.....
Lol you clearly can't write.....It's so sad to see someone who thinks it's fine to abuse others, but can't even construct a sentence. It's great to see the contribution you give to this forum long may it continue Den what on earth would we do without you're wise words.....and all the deals you share... (y) (lol) :/
Lol you're clearly no right (lol) (lol)
It's called a checkout and it's the size of a tray. If you refer to the narrow ledge next to the window behind the checkout. That is usually covered in flyers. You are sadly mistaken. So by your logic you unload your shopping on to the checkout conveyor then load your trolley for a second time, pay for your shopping then move to the ledge and unload the trolley and load your shopping in to bags. Then load the bags in to the trolley??? That's ridiculous. I'll save myself 15minutes of faffing around and do battle with the cashier as she tries to beat her 100 items in 60 seconds. Ps is there any need to resort to name calling? I seriously think you need improve your shopping techniques as the vast majority of people don't have the time you clearly have to load and reload shopping especially considering the 1hour parking at some .
Stop telling porkies now because you've made a t1t of yourself. I meant shelf by the way. And yes every store has one. Fact
Think you need to go back to school as I wouldn't comment on something that never happened.... You may well have large shelves in your particular branch but I can assure you that the vast majority of branches do not. Ps just so you are aware it's shelves not shelfs. Maybe every day should be a school day for you....
This is nicer but each to their own.
Can get this on amazon subscribe & save for £3.80 (two bottles). Free delivery. It goes great with everything.....meat, eggs.....chips.
What would you use this sauce for chips?
How hot is it
Such a nice flavour to this sauce and heat as well. The red extra hot is a fiery tablemate to this version
Supposed to be 20 times tougher than standard Dulux, and scrubbable without the paint coming off the wall like the standard Dulux paints.
Indeed, checking an hour ago I found the following colours for same price: goose down, ivory lace, lavender quartz, timeless, wicker, nordic sky, pebble, rich black, pewter. A few 5L tins can also be found for £15
There’s lots of silk and Matt colours for £7.50. Thanks op ordered some silk timeless to freshen up a bedroom.
Any ideas what tog this is?
1. Cool, but the other poster who I first quoted did. To be honest, I assumed it was them replying and didn't look at the name. Apologies for that. 2. Not really sure what your point is here. 3. I guess I was wrong. Which is why I said "don't quote me on this" implying I wasn't 100% certain.
I like this particular sauce and it's currently £2.00 at Tesco if you don't Have a nearby Lidl. Only disappointing thing about it is the somewhat unnecessary 18% sugar in it, when other variants like Huy Fong have 10% sugar or less.
A few points: 1. I never said this was the original, so not sure why you put that in quotation marks. 2. Huy Fong - the rooster brand - is the first one to be produced and sold in this way in the US and has led to all of the other copycat brands (the eagle, the goose etc) so in that sense, Huy Fong is the original version of the modern, mass produced, westernized sriracha brands. 3. You've just proven your nonsense claim false that they've been bought out by an American company and are now apparently inferior for it, since your link also says that Huy Fong originates from California and is still produced there by the same man.
Not starting a debate or anything but calling it the "original" is a bit misleading. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sriracha_sauce
Not hot enough for me so I give it a few shots of who dares burns 2nd assault to give it some kick .
This is everywhere in USA.
f that confuses you, maybe not broadcast it.
U I'm confused this seems available in other stores such as Iceland and b and m for the same price so is this a deal or not ?
Cheaper elsewhere no deal!
I like my spicy stuff so I bought a 'costco sized' bottle of this (500ml?) but don't like the garlic taste. Hadn't considered mixing with mayo - might be better for me, cheers
Oh OK. I want to try it but don't want my ibs to flare up ;( ;( ;(
Try and find one without E numbers/MSG. Still get the kick and the garlic but less salty.
mix with mayo and put on an egg sandwich, delicious hotukdeals strips out the start time so watch from 2:00
Don’t know if it is better but it is the original that this one rips off. Packaging is nearly exactly the same. The original is made by Huy Fong Foods...what’s not to like about that?! 😄 I’m stayin’ with the rooster. It’s £3 in Sainsbury. (y)
Around 487° currently
This is how they're doing it in Scotland (in line with all the other bulk promos that we're not allowed :) )
Magners removed from the offer and strongbow are only 18 pks
Magners isn't 2 for 20 in-store but is is online
Why isn’t miller lite ever on offer :( :(
These are not available at Glasgow (Shettleston) if anyone is thinking of visiting. (I checked earlier!) :-)
love these chips, got a couple of bags from Iceland as on offer for £1.50 at mo as thats a good price, def going to have to go to Tesco after work to see if my local have any at this price
Fantastic chips, best out there hope local has some.
Msg is cool. 1 billion Chinese eat msg noodles every day
Not really. I responded to your post in which you doubted that the poster was qualified to give a informed opinion then continued to give one yourself. I merely asked about your qualification which seems to be nothing but anecdotal. My brother is a pilot but that doesn't mean I can fly jumbo jets. Any real medical professional will want to see scientific evidence and there are hundreds of studies on MSG and not one has shown that MSG in normal doses is 'poison' as you put it. I can tell you have made up your mind already but if anyone wants to see the real evidence they can do a simple search like this - https://www.google.co.uk/search?client=opera&q=msg+scientific+studies&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 Plenty of studies, completely unrelated to 'big food' but I'm sure you'll prefer a Food Matters article over the work of peer reviewed scientists.
You are free to do what you want, I only highlighted the ingredient for those who may not be aware. It is madness to declare something as safe if you are unqualified or not sufficiently informed on the subject. Personally my family consists of many GP's, and other types of Doctors, plus many friends in the profession who say this stuff is poison. However, I could find equal numbers of doctors who state eating eggs are bad, as I could that say eating eggs are good. Hence the rule is, if unsure, consume in moderation. Read this: http://www.foodmatters.com/article/top-10-food-additives-to-avoid The simple truth is that big food now adopt the same strategies as big tobacco did, hence you cannot put too much faith in what you read. Their marketing budgets are far greater than that of the national health bodies, and they care only about profits. Hence they commission their own reports stating their products are safe and put out misinformation. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2017/dec/06/conflict-of-interest-in-child-obesity-report
Tell us how you're more qualified to give your opinion...
They were marked down to £1 tonight in our local store. I bought 20 outers.
I am haha
Go out then! If money is no object
Depends if you need the extra fuss on Christmas Day, personally I dont
I love this sauce, but it has been creeping up in price at Tesco this year. Watch out for the sugar content though - unlike pretty well all other hot sauces, this one has 18% sugar (for no good reason from what I can see)!
They make their own, by the bucket load as the shops are all similar in the way they make them. You have to experiment with one you like so make small quantities first of different recipes. http://www.curryfrenzy.com/curry/recipes/kebab-shop-chilli-sauce.html
Alot cheaper in aldis
Some could say... it's... FLAMEdeerING HOT !
Must be store specific or sold out testosterone West Bromwich
Why? Because some poncy "chef" on telly told you what to like?
Frozen roast potatoes! What is the world coming too.
Not bad compared to some other supermarkets But Lidl's deluxe goosefat roast potatoes are £1.39 been buying them at this time for year for years and always satisfied
Roasted potatoes have to have goose fat. :D
I don't have a problem and you didn't make me angry. Heh. As I said it's great fun! :) :)
Clearly don't know you're Vodka, stick to Smirnoff.
Hmmmm.....sorry I made you so angry. It's only a deals forum. We're not curing the sick. Chill. Besides, I'm not so superior a 'type' as to suggest the comments box should be for positive responses only and naysayers should simply trot on. The comments section is open to all and as long as the comment is within the rules, you don't get any say on who posts what, when and where. Nor do I. That's how it should be. I have no problem at all with any negative comments. You appear to have a huge problem with them. That's not good.
(highfive) added. Ty
Totally agree, I am French and I had never seen in France, but this brand is widely sell abroad (Baltic countries, UK,...). We do hundred of different alcohol in France and really good ones, but we are not recognized for doing great vodka especially Cheap'stoff vodka :) EDIT: I just read the french Wikipedia page, this Vodka is really a joke. It have been created by an american in France in 1997, who wanted to use the french prestige of luxe to sell it abroad... (funny, the english page is a bit less clear)
I saw this the other day and thought it would make some lovely roost potatoes
Here's a cheeky snap in the Duke Street (Glasgow) store from yesterday, which proves stores seem to be stocking this as an all-year-round line. £15.99, though, not sure if English stores are cheaper. By the way, sis didn't like the Korol Vodka (to the right of the Ignis bottles) at all!! (which was £9.99 before the Scottish price hike). Will have to ask her.
Had a quick nip in to Jamaica Street (teeny Glasgow city centre store) to buy random things - maybe this isn't just available during the festive season any more, as it's been out of stock a while and this store has more in now. Not sure if the price has went up nationally or it's just the Scots being spanked with the recently-introduced higher booze prices - in my store it was £15.99, not the cheaper £13.99.
(This quote of mine is from the Korol 0.5L Vodka thread, from Lidl, but relevant as I'm mentioning this vodka and its Aldi alternative https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/33207923 :) ) Was discussing this (Korol Vodka) with my sister (she loves her vodkas, particularly the Grey Goose/Belvedere/Ciroc a-likes). Ciroc is still her number one, but she wasn't that keen on this one, will have to ask her why. She also mentioned the Aldi Saint Gérmont Premium French Vodka (£13.99 - a "Grey Goose"-alike which is competing with Lidl's Ignis French Grain Vodka). Apparently the Aldi vodka gave her a thumping hangover, something you don't really expect with the smooth, many-times-distilled clear spirits - which she always drinks with clear mixers to try to avoid the rough morning after. She also said it tasted harsh, not smooth as expected, and she reckons Lidl's version is miles better. She may have had a bad batch or something? She insists that Lidl's Ignis French Grain is still only a Xmas/winter special (same as last year) so it won't be found in stores all year round - not sure if that will change.
I'll let my sister know - she'll be thrilled, though I think she's used her £5 off £30* voucher on them already (not sure) :) :D *Woops, it's actually a £5 off £30 voucher, not £40, d'oh!
Must be competing with the Aldi one! https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/saint-germont-premium-french-vodka-5x-distilled-1399-from-aldi-nicer-than-grey-goose-2830996
have you seen how much this beer usually is?
I drank this in the USA, as it was available in the Walmart for a reasonable price, and not generic sub-pils type drink. Found it to be over-hoppy for an IPA but I still enjoyed it as a beer.
Chop off your balls and inject estrogen that should do it.
It's not a mind blowing price, but pretty sure this is the cheapest around at the moment. Being delivered chilled to your door is a nice bonus. (y)
AB (aka Bud) own this explains why it's so cheap and IMO has gone down hill.
The Spicy Mayo also on offer is brilliant for Wrap and chicken!
For me it has the right amount of heat to be able to taste what you are actually eating rather than burning your tongue and taking away the taste of the food.
This is quite nice but very garlicky.
Maybe personal preference but I bought some of this a few months ago, it tastes awful compared to other hot sauces and really is not hot at all.
