Do the Whisky world a favour and pull this filth from the market.

This, would rather drink river water
Is this from William?
This is worth £10 maximum and only for the bottle design))
I suppose it's a good price if you like it but I tried this when it was on offer in Sainsbury's before Christmas and didn't like it at all. It has a very light almost Speyside flavour but without any of the redeeming qualities.

I used to hate (all) Whiskey, until one night a a works do where my boss made the mistake of putting his credit card behind the bar, a colleague got me drinking some 21 year old Balvennie (£27 per shot)...I've been hooked since.

Not sure if you would call it a decent price, but I can recommend the 12 year old Balvennie double-wood as a flavorsome whiskey that is easy on the pallet, and pretty good introduction to single malts. Your pallet will quickly acclimatize enabling you to appreciate the delights of more peaty / smoky whiskies like Lagavullin ('96 Distillers or 12 year old are delights). That said my favorite non-peaty is Macallan Sienna.....sooooo smooth, but not cheap (I was lucky with a half price lightning deal a few years back).

The former is cheap, overpriced grain whisky, sold at a premium price to cover the cost of having David Beckham's endorsement and the latter is worse.

To me, it tastes no better than Bell's 8yr old and that is rotten stuff.
Yuck
Not even @ £15 could tempt me. You can get Aberlour 12, Old Pulteney 12 or Highland Park 12 (to name just a few vastly superior drams) for less than this price

It's probably marginally better than Bells.

That's a very subtle way of saying it's a Bell-end's drink.
This is the Haig Club Clubman as opposed to the regular (and more expensive) Haig Club as the deal description/title implies.

Not tried it to comment on taste, but has been £15 at Waitrose recently and elsewhere iirc, so low but not really a steal.
For just £1.10 more you could get Canadian Club, Jim Beam Devils Cut or Bushmills

For £2.10 extra you could buy Jamesons or Tullamore D.E.W

It's this price for a reason. The nice bottle and slick adverts trap the unwary into buying it on the hefty discount. Think how much is spent on those on how much they have left for the actual spirit.

It's a bit sharp for my taste, might be alright with a mixer but as people say, it's a single grain not a single malt, very different taste. It's probably marginally better than Bells.
heat for the lowest price I've seen. also it isn't as bad as everyone is making out. for £15 a go, try it and make your mind own mind up.

Style over substance - drink this to show people you are a mug - an advertisers delight.
What does endorsement have to do with taste exactly? I like this, and know plenty of mates who do, give it a try for yourself don't listen to the sheep..
Uuuurrrgghhhh! vile....

Diageo and Beckham go together like peas and carrots! NOT....

I think that is all I want to say about that.
Heat from me. I like this single malt. Thanks :-D

The beautiful 16 year old Lagavulin is only £10 more in Costco.
Something vastly overpriced, then reduced slightly (yet still overpriced), is hardly a deal. For that price, you could get 2 bottles of grouse/bells/supermarket brand, which IMO would be a better purchase.
All deals on here are voted, based on the personal opinion of others, which is hardly trolling. Getting butthurt over the voting opinion of faceless users is actually pretty sad. IMO.
Cheapest price for a fancy whisky. It's all marketing but no whisky! Frankly @£30 I can get a better blended or single malt and enjoy my money. I had a chance to taste this at whisky shop and I am disappointed. For the price hot and excellent fancy present for festive season

Yes, perhaps you're right.

A terrible, grotesquely overpriced whisky at a reduced, albeit still ridiculous price based on quality etc.

Heated.
