All Hair Removal Devices Discounts, Offers and Sale - July 2019
Yes this one has 2 attachments. I bought one as a Christmas present for my daughter. Thought it was a decent price. Guessing in store only. They had some other good buys as well.
Isn't that model the same as this, just with one less attachment? If so, that's a bargain at £150. Even better if you have a 10% student discount. <3 Did you buy one? It's not available on boots online. Was it in-store only? :)
You’re right. It’s model BRI 950. I think it’s still a good buy especially with Student discount of 10%.
It's £325 online at Boots. Saving £150 as its usually £475. Are you sure it's the same model that you saw for £150? It doesn't usually go down so low but the cheaper models of it sometimes do. They have different models. :)
Boots have this in store for £150 at the moment.
At least you've tried it...try via chat. If you want to give it another go via chatl ll, tell them the price went up bla bla..
I called them but they’re telling me to send back so they can refund or something. I explained I just want the missing part but they said it’s procedure and then they’ll look into it
Tell them about this. Maybe you can get 20% if they can class it as warehouse / open item deal
Mine arrived arrived yesterday without the seal and plug was missing 👀
Does this work on brown skin?
Wish they done a hair removal IPL device like this for men's facial hair, I waste up to 5 minutes a day of my life shaving.
Bit like upto 75% off sales
Up to 75%? 1% is part of that, so that claim is rather vague at best.
Act quick - hair today, gone tomorrow at this price.
It was £199 from costco a few weeks ago, picked mine up then
Funnily enough, I did this to boyf the other day (cotton bud + hot wax up the nose, wait for it to harden, then yank it out) Though, Poundland have sold £1 battery nasal hair trimmers for years and years.
A friend of mine was given some for Xmas by his nipper, he opened the box, switched it on and shoved it up his nose.....trouble was the battery died straight away and it stopped before it had cut anything.... he couldn’t get it out without pulling all the hair out with it.....he cried that day!!
Can't believe no one's said 'not to be sniffed at' ...
I wax them out much better. If you never done it give it ago
Amazing thanks! Such a great deal with triple point, student discount and possibly topcashback too (party)
Now you can earn triple points - so worth 15 pounds of points I got it for 117 after my student discount and got 15 pounds in points - will cost me 112 :) - I will return the one I bought yesterday
it does not work on grey or blonde hair, it is advised that it wont be effective on very dark skin tones (danger of damaging skin) this is a good price and ipl is very effective home treatment that pretty much eliminates hair growth - important to follow the instructions and to be patient. will see positive results in 3 to 6 months. for first use - you do not need to shave , you can wax / epilate first, wait a couple of days before using the ipl.
£15.60 worth of points
Does it work on darker skin tones?
Gone up in price
Be careful with it. I bought 1 and it only worked with mains. Funny how it can be used in a bath plugged in 😨 Contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement that was exactly the same! Promised they'll remove it from sale as there is a fault and from what I can see they never have.
An ok price for an ok device it seems.
I'm half tempted to get one to do my face. It takes ages each morning shaving and with these hair killing alien death rays, it may stop that altogether, leaving my face smoother than the country's attempt to leave the EU (or more likely, not).
Yes, I put members because you can't buy from Costco without a membership. The deal is both, on line and in store, but cheaper in store.
You are right but one looks like instore only for members, the other online for everyone. Well I’m not sure actually, do you have to be a member to buy online
Sorry, already posted and slightly cheaper: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/philips-lumea-hair-remover-bri-92300-costco-instore-only-180319-to-310319-members-only-19198-3192106
not sure, i use it in my southern region.
Wow! Great price. Buy it otherwise hair today gone tomorrow (y)
(lol) (lol) you could go completely hair free at this price
Just bought the last 2 packs in Clacton store.
Okay...I thought you just really really liked the hairless guy with a sprout up his chutney channel. :D
*laughed. I missed out, laughed.
Oh my God! I've never so hard for that long before. People asking me what I'm laughing at but I can't even get the words out before collapsing in a fit of giggles again. Made my day that did. Thanks.
Sorry, old post, was available at this price about a month ago, I will expire it.
how does this work as ive signed in and have membership but its not reducing down to the above discounted price
These are really good ... Used my moms one on my hand and it definitely works
It's really good!
I have no clue. I've heard is very good. I do not want to ask my wife, as she may want one:)
I tried a couple of different types (think it was the Mach 3 at the time and a couple of others). Like you they would only last 2 shaves before getting blunt and even before that they would cause irritation as have very sensitive skin with the eczema. Thanks Mark.
Have you tried different blades? I tried Astra, Derby, Feathers but settled on Personna Blues. Lasts me about 5 shaves compared to 2 for the others before they got blunt and sore on skin.
OK thanks for that. I tried shaving with normal razors, but found that to irritate it, but have resorted to a decent electric shaver and that seems a lot better.
I have the IPL laser machine. I'm sure they have newer updated ones but i can honestly say it's a very good machine. Getting laser treatment at salons made my hair worse but this worked a treat. It should work for your beard perfectly. Normally works better on darker and coarser hair but you will need to do a number of treatments to see a difference. Initially i worked recommend doing it once a week.
It just has extra attachment, if you don't need it go for cheaper one
No... Price is £146.98 now only 2 left... It must have helped others (highfive)
Did you nab one? Been back in 4 times now.. never seen this happen with a "deal of the day" before!! (party)
Have some heat @bitcoin5 (highfive)
Thanks.very much Tommy. (y)
Well get this Luxury pack that is £149 everywhere else, up on HUKD as a deal if you can buy them for £75!! (shock)
This is a old model. I bought my 2006 model for this price including points and cashback from boots
Apologies! Updated to the one direct from Amazon. Not sure why I didn't do that in the first place.
I see 219pounds :-/
You're probabil right, i think the picture does not match this model.
If I remember correctly, it is usually £250.
Where were you earlier? Its too late.... roasted nuts anyone?
Nooo don't use on sack! The have specific areas they say not to, and that's one
This is an IPL device. Works best on dark hair and light skin. Dark skin it will barely work, pale blond hair it will not work.
Ahh. Ok. XD I was gonna say that every 2 days is a lot. XD I'll try out your routine and see if it works better. The every 2 weeks that they recommend isn't working on my thicker hairs. I even did it last week and this week but it's still growing. Thanks for the tip, I'll try it. (y)
I bought mine from Argos. It doesn't matter where you buy it from though as the 100 day money back guarantee comes directly from Philips and not the retailer. You can buy it from any shop and if it doesn't work within 100 days, you send it to Philips with proof of purchase as opposed to taking/sending it back to the shop that you bought it from. Here is the link. It tells you which models are eligible for the money back too. (y) https://www.philips.co.uk/c-w/promotions/lumea.html
Apparently, so. A bit expensive as a drain cleaner. Ours needs unblocking every 3 months.
Real men don't remove hair with cream, they cut it off with an axe.
(y) great for round the knackers
Always has me in stitches!
thats a hairy good deal ! veet from me !
