All Haircut Discounts, Offers and Sale - June 2018
Correct, it does have the controls on the side, but I do find myself pressing a button by mistake every now and again :)
Tbh wish I had waited and got this myself. The one I picked up has all its controls forward facing on the hassle, and I keep knocking the damn thing off lol. This has a side control panel yes?:)
Great price. Bought this about a month ago for £30 and very happy with it.
Seems like some great reviews any idea why not get this??
All these will be good for is trimming your neck will not be powerful enough to cut hair but will more useful at pulling it out at the root
Ordered one, many thanks OP. Doubtful the battery will last after several uses, but prefer to use corded anyway as more power :)
Cutting edge deal
Wahl clippers are the best as their cutting blades are ground and not just pressed steel..
Better off with a babyliss or Wahl, anyday
What was wrong with it ? And what are the charge times ?
Don’t waste your money, but one previously. Can get a lot better ones for such a similar price
Looks ok for the price..... Charging times are unclear though. In one part of the description it says 1hr to charge and in another it says 6 to 8 hrs. Also says 6 to 8 hrs in one of the Q & A.
To make matters worse my mum had short hair before she went in! Wasn't a bad snip off the ear. Very small cut, but wouldn't of expect a professional college to make a basic mistake.
:o scared me with this.
Careful of your ears. My mum went to get one from Tony and guys trainee place in London and the hair dresser snipped the top of her ear. (shock)
Ooo shall I vote no because it's not national? No, I'll vote hot because it might help someone else...
OOS :( Shame as that seemed an awesome deal!
£60 RRP lul
Cold. I'm bald.
Give, shame looked good.
Oh wow, sounds like a fun party!
I cut my own hair, easy....
Ive been to both Farringdon and Covent Garden around 10 times in all I was happy with 6 or 7. One time there was a powercut half way through the haircut.
I don't think they will charge you for the broken camera
Are you on the run? :)
I've been several times to the Farringdon branch of London School of Barbering. Never had any concerns over the standard of haircut, as all trainees are always thoroughly supervised.
Not really I wouldn't say £8 is a posh hair cut price kinda place
Posh, obvs. :D
No I book in advance , it's a bookings only for my local
Sounds like every barbers round here. Don't guys always queue for barbers?
I took advantage of this. Was in The Strand this morning for a completely unrelated matter. There were about 5 guys in front of me but just saved myself about £23. There was a queue out the door and the hairdresser said that they were expecting a queue around the bock come around 5pm. I LOVE Ted Baker Male Grooming.
Very tempting! I don't mind a radical cut but would not be happy looking like an idiot/ mental patient afterwards. Does anyone know if you do have a say when you get the "creative cut"?
Where else would it be? London is the only place in the UK 8)
Voted hot. Used to do this all the time when I was young and living in London. Good to know it's still available for when I might go up for the Theatre or something. After the total faff and precious snowflake attitude having colour done at the local college I wouldn't trust them to cut my hair. Sassoons however is still a benchmark for quality cut.
cold as its just in "london town"
Made my day LOL
Thanks just got one Hull store

nice find op
No idea how they do it for free. Very pleased with mine and it looks very smart:
how the hell they free?...will i come out looking like sonic ?
then £19.50 a chop... :/
I did this, applied online with the right details and receipt but never heard anything from them and this was early September!! What a waste!
My experience is that the salon treats you differently, when you are having a free haircut - never waited 2 weeks for a haircut when I am paying....
Does anyone have a list of salons?
maybe should be in Freebies!
Well you could buy the required Herbal Essences, upload the receipt, take it all back for a refund (sorry, wrong hair type) & get a free haircut. Just saying... :)
Or worse if you're like me, will never get the damn blades back in place as I found out yesterday
Be careful with any Whals that have a side adjuster if you do this, moving the blades on the cheaper ones (like this) will end up with cuts, the blades are never straight on this type due to the side adjuster.
Corded clippers are more consistent and self lubricating blades snag less and don't need oiling. They are usually ceramic coated.
Thanks, might recommend them to him if he kills these 100s quickly (not sure what he does with them but they never seem to last!).
Videos on youtube about "Zero-gap" Wahl clippers, not tried myself but look easy enough
A complete con! Don't Bother! You have to upload your reciept and then wait - then you pick your hairdressers, then you wait for them to call you, then find out that actually thats not the hairdressers and just their booking agent so you have to wait again for the salon itself to call which of course they never do.... Each of these steps takes 2 weeks, so I'm now 2 months on and still need a haircut - gonna have to find somewhere else! On a plus the shampoo was a pleasent suprise!
I went through the whole process fairly quickly, booked my appointment with a salon in Middleton, Manchester. The hairdresser was perfectly pleasant but said the offer was for a dry cut only. I was in the salon chair for exactly 5 minutes (I know because I timed it) while she snipped the bottom of my hair and then sent me off on my way. If this was a way of getting in new customers to the salon, it failed miserably.
So I'm supposed to buy the products (in the same transaction), register, upload my receipt (within 14 days), wait for up to two weeks before I even find out IF there's a participating salon locally, then continue to jump through a few more hoops... Is it April again already? (_;) I'm sure that they'll sell a few more bottles as a result of this promotion - but not to me!
has anyone had their haircut yet?
Agree. Dreadful that they won't post salons upfront. Singers go on nationwide tours but they don't visit places like Lincoln. So not falling for this con
don't turn up late then. simple
Worth every penny? Surely free = no pennies spent
You still have not answered the Question, i will repeat once again. How do you or your tutor put the head back on when in haste you have cut the throat off ?
Clearly a case of child abuse that poor child is in a distressed state and not happy with his free haircut. Weary seagulls looking for a place to land would spot that a mile away and perch on his head using it as a mobile nest. I suggest the parents buy that poor boy a wig until the bald patch has recovered.
Been here before, the cut is really good. Just make sure that you are clear about what you want :)
I'll try and find the receipt for you!
any chance for barcode please. Thanks
You could have a Lionel Blair cut, like mine!
I went to a college that did hairdressing & beauty therapy courses In my day if you were doing a hairdressing course at college you were not allowed to cut a real persons hair before you'd had lots of practice on a styling head and were deemed proficient enough to cut real hair there was always a course teacher around supervising everything the students did and ready to step in to avoid a major disaster
Haha brilliant. That kid is the spitting image of my mates son, quality
What an incredibly pretty model. Yeah, I ain't going near a hairdresser after telling them I won't be paying their asking price.
I Like it , I like it a lot
stick Glasgow in the title !
my mum had same problems - they really do stink.
