Great post, thanks for taking the time to write it up. As a Yorkshireman, i'm ashamed to say i still haven't visited a few of these places [i do live 10 minutes from Salts Mills though, a frequent visitor, the park there is fab in Summer]
myusernamehasgone23417 h, 41 m ago

Really it’s very open and close to the motorway.

I know, lol

Same with the car park at The Old Post Office at Haigh, and plenty of other places, lol

Cliffe castle in Keighley is a must. Can't believe it's not on the list.

Apologies I just did a top 20 of places I was familiar with.

I haven’t been to or heard of Cliffe Castle.

Thanks for sharing.

Perhaps with everyone’s suggestions next time I could post a top 30, 40 or even 50.

I’m going to try put together a list of outdoor attractions for spring / summer next.

Went here yesterday because I had a voucher I needed to use up. Such a tired place with a lot of the indoor stuff just not working. Imagine it's decent outside in the summer when the weather's nice but if you're stuck indoors it's a waste of money.
I got a groupon and visited in January only to find they were doing a special January/February deal which was the same price!! Not a bargain I'm afraid! The place is very tired.

Enjoy your holiday
Recently been with Gold Crest to Disney this past December, and had a brilliant time. Stayed at the Cheyenne which was really nice as the rooms have all recently been refurbished. I was a bit worried about my 6 year old and a long journey ride, but I had nothing to worry about. I brought his DVD player, books, colours and ipad but turns out he just looked out the window most of the journey. In any case, he was kept occupied. He also found the ferry ride very exciting. Regardless of the cold weather, we dressed up for it, and had a fabulous two days in the parks. Great long weekend away!!

Badgers Hill Farm & Cidery.
This is a friendly place near Chilham in Kent. They make cider here. But it is an ideal free place to visit for their animal farm. This is open every day (and I mean including Saturday and Sunday). Your children can touch sheep or chickens (carefully!) There are some more usual animals. Reas, lamas. It is quite big to walk around. It should keep them occupied for hours! It is very informal. There is a small childrens play area. There is a cafe which is also open every day 10-5pm. It seems a bit run down, but it's really excellent. If your children have never seen real animals close up then I can thoroughly recommend it. Food in the cafe is not expensive. I had an enormous piece of real homemade coffee cake!
If you have time! visit Chilham, a very pretty village at the top of a nearby hill. See Chilham castle (from the outside free) There is a quality souvenir shop (not the usual junk) A nice cream tea cafe (but not open every day)

Travelers, gypsy type people, or there are also quite a few from people who get one and have no idea what they're doing, but harm them through ignorance. This is also incidentally where the majority of abused horses come from.

Where ever there are people using animals in a role of utility, destitution is never far away.

Icelolkly are reputable. Decent deal if you have to do it on the cheap.
If it's an evening flight out and a morning flight back, which it normally is with these deals, you're only getting one full day in Rome. It's a fantastic city and that isn't enough time to scratch the surface.

In my opinion these city break deals always have a catch. You'd be much better off buying the flights and hotel separately for more flexibility.
