Roobot

They start selling stock for seasonal events earlier and earlier every year.

csa1

And apart from that! I wonder if there is a particular way to know? Eg how long is stock on sale for before going to 4p. I know they have on the labels AW18 etc (Autumn Winter 18)

JJMPSP

Use a handheld scanner?

csa1

Apart from scanning at till how are you meant to know if an item (particularly clothing) is 4p in Tesco? Thanks

Halloween barely raises an eyebrow; Brexit on the other hand is closer and way more scary..

slickafoe

So true, alas! people aren't bothered with truths and realities. Rather pleasing with their own whims and desires. If only they were to research everything rather than take it for face value

yorinul

This is one of the few pagan festivals that hasn't been stolen by Christians! Easter and Christmas is nearly all pagan. Jesus wasn't born on the 25th of December!

:S My comment was facetious, but it seems it didnt come off that way! I was poking fun at people who do contribute problems to a single party, whichever party that may be.

cooliodealio

It’s a joke isn’t it?! There is a magic money tree, but only when it suits them.

cooliodealio

I would not be so bold as to attribute the sum of a country’s problems to a single party. I must however, congratulate the Tories for a jolly good effort for trying! (highfive)

Rhythmeister

Well, the current situation pretty much but we can thank the DUP for keeping NI in the dark ages too (skeptical)

jambone

Yes, because all of this countries problems have come from a conservative government... (skeptical)

if you wrap them up for your dog and they open them and give you a weird look then you'll get your answer

Marked up at 29p in our local store. Lots at the Portishead branch. Edit to add they are with the promotional stuff and not the dog treats.
