I had one of these about 9 years ago. Probably an older model. We found it very heavy and clunky. IMHO - i you are a first time parent with one child - buy a car sear and a very lightweight pushchair. You dont need anything else. Too much stuff becomes cumbersome and difficult to handle when you have to also deal with a crying baby.
We bought a Hawk pram and buggy and the quality was terrible. The frame was bent and the locking system kept failing. Tried to return it to vendor and was told they had fixed it. Went to collect it, tested ti see if it locked and didn't. They sent it back for repair and the report came back to say that it was damaged by our misuse and from forcing it into the boot. It had only been used in the house..... poor quality and unsafe.
Hauck only have 6 months warranty to the dealers so if it goes wrong (and they don't last long) the dealers are reluctant to repair or replace. Used to retail these but gave up because they are cheap and often go wrong after only a few months.
Thanks for posting. We have added this thread to the Highlights section (y)
i second this. i was very thankful when the wheel just came off my 1 ( after just 9months of using it) so i was able to buy a britax buggy and i found the was much easier to push and its still going strong. its lasted over 2 years of being used almost every day. like you say though it does the job and i guess i depends how much it would be used.

we're lucky to have an independent near us who takes their car seats VERY seriously. The lady who runs it is absolutely on it with the knowledge she has on car seats. She insists on seeing your car and fitting the seats, even offering to refit for free should you need to move it (we have a non-isofix). Anyway, the chairs she stocks will definitely be highly recommended so you can do a lot worse than review the stock she holds as a starting point. https://annsprams.co.uk/ As you can see, she does have seats to match most budgets... HTH (Just checked, she doesn't list this make on her website. I don't draw any conclusion from that but she does list a Joie Trillo at £50 which is in this price range)
Have three of these for my 3, 6 & 8 year olds. They sit a little too upright, but our rear seats recline enough to compensate. Excellent quality and rock solid once clicked in.
I couldn't find it on there but I struggle with the which website. I looked on other sites and read the reviews. It's the cheapest isofix I have seen.
Appreciate the reply cheers, yeah an extra 25 quid is a no brainer
Cybex solutions gets best reviews. Can buy one for £75

Loved this for my newborn and even though my son is nearly 5 he still uses it to have his dessert/snacks in the living room in the low position without complaint, especially when we all want to be together in the living room e.g watching movie. It's great to get him to sit still as most of the time he is very active but he will chill with a drink and snack and willingly climb into this chair. Did use IKEA plastic chair for main weaning and kitchen meals as it is too much of a faff to clean the hauck. Still recommend it as a newborn chair and 2nd highchair for snacks etc separate from the kitchen. Also great to take in to the garden for newborn with mosquito net over the toy arm to keep net out of babies face. Also liked the storage net underneath for lightweight toys and bibs. Recommend.

Depends where you put it really. If you want it stretched out fully I’d recommend attaching it to the wall (we brought some steel rings from screwfix as I got the pen second hand as I think it will usually come with attachments)
Does it require drilling into wall?
This is great, very tempted. Not to use as a playpen but as a room separator for him (lol)
I love ours, but rarely use it as a playpen, I have it set up so it keeps my little one in one half of the living room and away from the fireplace then attached it to the wall and the sofa.

Does the rocker actually rock or is it just an infant seat? Seems a bit of a faff to switch around between the crib and rocker as you will use both together. Baby asleep on your shoulder and find your crib dismantled is likely to be inconvenient. We had a fisher price bouncer that was great for moving between rooms and travel. Not sure how practical it is for the price? You may wish to reuse the crib before the older child grows out of the high chair. Light colour high chair is not going to let the spaghetti Bolognese stain come out easily Good option for the crib if you have and back though.. heat added, is good value if it meets your particular needs.
