A standard cot size mattress fits into it perfectly I got mine for £40.
How does it compare to Red Kite Sleeptight Travel Cot (Black)
is it worth buying then and then a thicker matreess or something else?
I think it comes with a thin mattress which wraps around the cot when folded down. You can also get it with a much thicker mattress but thats more expensive (the other option on Amazon for £52.38). We tend to put a thicker mattress in as the thin one is not particularly padded.
Is that matress not included? The next tab say travel cot and mattress. I want it for a 3 weeks holiday for my 6 month old
Thanks again xx
Our 3 are all summer babies so we didn't really need one (bought one for eldest but only used for first few weeks and then for naps in the house)... I think if I had a baby born when it was chillier I could see it getting more use though.
Thanks for the detailed reply, much needed guidance, we are having a second one after 8yrs gap so pretty clueless what to go for, we also had a Britax with the first one, still going strong but want a new one now. Do you recommend carrycot or do they grow out of it too quick?
I bought similar when pregnant with my first... took it out of box, had a look and returned it. I found it really flimsy - you definitely get what you pay for in this instance! Plus after researching a bit more into car seats I wouldn't have been happy putting my baby in such a basic car seat. We went with cabriofix and oyster travel system in the end (then britax bdual and then baby jogger city mini for number 3!). Choose the car seat you want and get a pushchair that works with it. Mothercare have got some great money saving bundles at the moment.
Is this good?
well done whoever got this.it was a right bargain. (highfive)
Smash bang wallop.
Wishihadadonkey is going to be so gutted to hear that!
These are really small in person, went to look at one at the weekend, age range is 4-7.
I wish it did, I'm wondering whether the 50kg max user weight is more of a guidance & whether my fat bottom would squeeze in :D
Corrrrr! Does it come with the Bat Cave? ................. and a real Bat Phone to take calls from Commissioner Gordon?
thanks for your comments. (unicorn)
Good pram, well built and easy to steer. Only gripe would be that it folds in half and still is rather bulky. I had to detach the wheels so it would fit in the boot of our car. Good value for money.
Good price! (highfive)
These gates are great ! Great find :)
Do the wheels turn good hate wheels that don't work
Had a hauke pram for holiday and it was better than our silver cross!
Also £139 at https://www.online4baby.com/hauck-miami-4-s-trio-set-travel-system-caviar-orange
Perfect for Wolves fans who havbe managed to procreate. (If anyone were brave enough to admit they were a Wolves fan.)
Thank you! Just purchasing for a second, lighter, smaller pushchair to take on holiday etc
It all depends on what you want it for. And where to store. The one you said is bigger folded, but lighter, looks a bit less sturdy, and shopping basket is smaller. Edit: I also have to say that one bar only is a lot easier to navigate and easier to pick it up and carry it around. I would go for the deal OP posted.
Anyone know whether this one would be better than the other hauk one they have for sale? https://direct.asda.com/george/baby/prams-pushchairs/hauck-speed-plus-pushchair-tango/050084181,default,pd.html
I don’t know if it’s any help, but we spent over £800 on a fancy pushchair, then bought one of these. These are lighter, easier to do with one hand, you don’t worry where you leave it. Also, we found because the seats have less padding/frame, if your child is taller than average, these have more room. My advice - try the cheap ones first, then think about spending a small fortune if you want
We have this pram and paid £110 for it in March from Mothercare. Really good, solid pram and folds up great. Only negative is it doesn’t sit up very far so bear it in mind. It also states it comes with a rain cover which mine and many others going by reviews never had in the box. But absolutely worth the price above!
Fantastic set. I had this for my daughter. It lasted 3 years (until she was too old to use it) and went everywhere (off road) including up a mountain in the Lake District! I loved the pushchair. The car seat was a bit fiddly but great for when they’re very small.
Ace, heat with thanks OP. We're expecting in Jan and feel this meets our needs and budget so have bought - how exciting!!!
thank you :D
Nice find OP.. Heat added
thanks you just discovered this website.some good offers on there (highfive)
They still had about 6 after we bought 2. I only read good reviews online so shared it
Did they have many left OP ?
Had one of these, my little one could open it when he was 1. Had to go out and buy a more secure one. Wouldn't recommend them it's worth spending a few quid more
Just payed £35...
Full price in Romford and Lakeside
Full price in cardiff, checked with self scan too
You can buy a matress.. and sleep train toddler lol cry it out they soon get bored (lol)
Well it's definitely not this price at Tesco Silverburn, in Glasgow. Another waste of 20 mins return journey on this deal. Sigh.
Just been trying to find a great deal on a compact buggy that can lie flat! Thanks OP! much appreciated! (y)
Bought for baby oleg
Confused. Any suggestions about the below? Thanks ordered :)
can you put the baby in a flat position, when they want to sleep? or close to flat?
min weight 1KG
We’ve got a Hauck pushchair as a “spare” for our mamas and papas, can honestly say the hauck is better. Great bits of kit, heat added.
Still more than 10 in New Malden store
Still loads in my local (wolverhampton)
Got 3 of these, they are good for the price, though our 2 year old has learnt to open these now :-( I might add the locking mechanism is good, he is just a tinker.
They were there on sunday so worth a try:D
Not sure why I didn’t see this when it was first posted... I presume they are no longer on sale in store? Online is sold out
Its a reduced sticker. You can tell by the the receipt
Yes, I believe the OP will dine well with the profits saved from buying this cot for such a fantastic price! :)
Hot deal well dine:D
It’s look like OP is working in Tesco because his/her receipt is signed by someone and they do that when someone working in store and buy something during their shift. So it’s very unlikely that anyone else will get it at that price, and if they had that many in store why OP didn’t take the shelf label picture?
