Liquids are prohibited but I sell cosmetics that are powered or gel form we sell liquids but I just take the risk and use them because they are cheap they have lost a few but the saving in postage cost balances things out

We don’t pay extra for compensation we sell cosmetics but liquids like toner are no covered

Hi I have used a few times an no i cant remember seeing an option

Does anyone know if you use the instore service if you can opt for a signature which online is usually an extra 80p?

Constantly lost my parcels, then had to fight for compensation. UPS now no problems cost more but peace of mind is priceless.

Just used Parcel2go for the first time for some kitchen draws. The courier was Parcelforce. Delivery arrived in the morning 16:50pm I got an email claiming overage charge. Spoke to online chat, as they dont have a number and they just directed me to the dispute form. I called Parcelforce and CS agent said there was no issue from what they could see. The claimed measurements and weight are all my significantly rounded up measurements bar one which is increased. Makes me dubious, particularly the fact the email was received so late in the day as I presume a fair % of people would have opened the parcel by this time and disposed of the packaging. Fortunately I had only opened the top to ensure everything was intact, so have sent in images.

Does the trick still work as I can't seem to get the 1.99 option to show

100000% agree!!! DPD are the best!!! Love their app and how they link up my parcels to my address and account automatically. Haven't used them for sending parcels yet though.

I agree, I've had bad experiences with both so definitely won't use either, DPD are my favourite couriers at the moment.

Not saying RM are the best... but in my experience better than myhermes

Worked for me. Thank you!

Can you get a signature included on delevery

It's to get people using this facility, but there's no option to pay for extra insurance you are only covered for 20.00

Hermes are starting to make you jump through hoops if something is say left outside a door which they deem in their own terms is NOT a safe place but because it's had a last delivery scan AND a picture outside the property I have been told that the recipient must fill in a denial of receipt form. I've had messages back & forth and getting nowhere because I said to them where does it say in your terms that when I pay extra for insurance and the recipient says they don't have the parcel that I can't get a refund unless they fill the form in. So why am I paying insurance if a pay out is reliant upon the buyer filling out said form :-(

That's odd as the information online saying which stores have it is correct where I live.

Poor experience with myHermes. Used to send low value items in spare Dell branded boxes... quite a few were "lost". After wrapping the boxes up to hide the branding, zero parcels were "lost". Better and more reliable service with UPS and DPD.

great finds thanks :)

I was wondering the same. FOund a comment above that says currently you can't change to a higher amount when you Pay & Print Instore

With Pay&Print, does anyone know if the standard £20 cover can be increased to £50 ? Signature option available ?

Tried this way yesterday so heat from me had no idea this print service in shop even existed and the price is great tho as said im used to ebays shutl and using ups for over 5 kg items this is definately the cheapest way for 2-5 parcels ie royal mail are a joke at anything over 2kg jumps to about £12-13.

Mens one is really something. You can tell its a Lancome scent with just enough tweaking to differentiate it from the womans equivalent.

Ooh I didn't know there was a Hypnose for Men (I like the girls' one) :) I keep stealing boyf's Nautica Voyage when I visit :)

Came today. A very strong scent. Wouldn't say it stinks. Like Zino EDT it needs to settle down. Very strong Patchouli smell initially. Will give it a go. A fragrance inside a bible, your Mum would never approve Louise. Anyone looking for a truly amazing edt for men try this Lancome offering at Debenhams. Half price at at the minute. As Good as Chanel YSL Gucci or Givenchy edt.

I don't understand it - the price keeps going up and down!! (lipstick) XD :3

So I didn't imagine it the other day! I thought I was going mad. For some reason the price fluctuates :/

so they create a cheaper alternative and you are not happy lol. As they said in Life of Brian "Jesus said you can't keep everybody happy" :D

This annoys me (mad) I use myhermes daily and pay and print my own labels. Now it’s cheaper to use their machines in store to print the labels? It makes no sense!

Same here. I've had a couple of problems with sending through Hermes - they can't seem to work out how to get into blocks of flats - but I've had far worse with the Royal Mail whose 'signed for' service is a joke. They either put it through the letter box anyway or it constantly says 'going through the system' when you try and track it but they don't bother to update it on the system. Collectplus didn't hand my parcel to the collecting courier for over a week and then it was rejected at the receiving end as 'no-one of that name works in this shop'. At least with Hermes you get a free tracking number so you are covered if anything does happen and all of the Hermes couriers in my area are lovely. They go out of their way to help me, one of them even gave me a lift home when I was struggling with my shopping :)

The machine in my local is turned off with an "Out Of Order" sign on it.

Just a warning: my nearest shop is marked on the website and has this machine, but I just walked 20 minutes with a parcel to find "Hermes never plugged it in" and my parcel couldn't be sent.

ParcelHero have better offers if you need to send larger packages, its £3.30 odd to send up to 15kg using my Hermes, never had problems

It's only £2.79 for up to 2kg so I don't think it's that great. I use them a lot but not for parcels to Edinburgh as I have previously had problems send there with myhermes. Everywhere else has been fine

I never really understand the hate for Hermes. I’ve used them at work for 6 years now, have put well over 20,000 parcels through them and only had a handful lost or damaged - they’ve always paid out. I was hesitant at first given the amount of abuse on the Facebook page but you have to wonder how people are packing parcels. Most of the criticism seems to be people expecting delivery by a certain time - that’s not something Hermes provide. I know you get certain drivers that are bad but most parcels get delivered in 3 days. Then there’s the packing - you don’t simply wave some bubble wrap at your parcel. You have to wrap your item(s) 2 or 3 times, double box the parcel, and then use more packaging to cushion your item from moving around or being crushed in the post. Simply putting “fragile” on the front won’t cut it! I’ve sent crockery sets through Hermes, mugs, ceramics, glassware etc which you can’t claim for but, if you pack it correctly, arrives in one piece.

This seems like the price I've been paying for ages. How is it a deal? Seems like the usual price

MyHermes Black Friday Sale from £1.95 a parcel @ Parcel2Go
Found 17th Nov 2017Found 17th Nov 2017
Parcel2Go have reduced the price of there small and medium parcels (up to 2kg) to £1.95 as part of a black friday special sale.

What was it to start with? I vaguely remember the prices being only a fraction more?

I am using myhermes for last three years for all mybmedoum size parcels, had problems twice and they always refunded no questions asked. Better than Royal Mail in my opinion who will never accept they are at fault. Cannot recommend them enough, cheapest in UK for the service the do.

£2.34 including VAT for me?

Only a saving on a medium regular myhermes price. If it's a small parcel, you may as well use myhermes direct, as parcel2go,up to £20 insured is £2.75 + 2% paypal usage charge.

Bees knees (excited)

As a seller I find that Hermes are the bees knees - as is their claims department. I know some folk simply won't buy something if it ships via Hermes but since a lot of my stuff goes internationally to the GSP Shipping Centre it isn't really a concern and I save approx 65p per item as opposed to royal mail. Plus I have the added bonus that the courier picks up the items from my premises 3 times a week. Getting compensation from Royal Mail is pretty much impossible as you need the original receipt and they will only refund what you paid for the item and not what it sold for ... their "insurance" is one of the biggest cons going.

They're only doing this because Royal Mail now have delivery tracking on all standard parcels. I use Hermes when I have to but they've lost quite a few of mine over the years, interestingly never the cheap tat I sell on eBay but the £20+ stuff

I used them quite a bit last year, however, parcels started to go missing and the lost claims process was tedious. Went back to RM.

Being a ebay seller and use myhermes all the time apart from small items games, dvds etc i have used them myhermes for a few years now and most of the time they are fine i do get odd complaint from a buyer item hasnt arrived yet tracking shows its been left in porch etc but that could be the buyer trying it on in terms of items being damaged ive never had that and for claims i have put in they have always paid up.

hermes have delivered 400 parcels for me and only broke one . insurance paid up

Hermes are an impossible nuisance if you want something collected. The drop off service and delivery have improved however.
