Hobbits dont live in huts as explained in the book

That's what I was thinking it looks like it's surrounded by weeds (lol) Loving the faded 20yr old plastic chairs BTW 8) Mind you City folks won't know the difference so it's all good, there will be a convenient posh supermarket nearby.

I'm 6ft, so anything smaller than a 7x5 shed is a hobbit hut to me. :(

Stayed here a few years ago for a weekend in February. Booked direct with the site and it was lovely. They'd thought of everything.

Seriously, that looks like the little girls Little Tikes house in my neighbours garden that hasn't been cut for 2 years

Most certainly not. We didn’t vote leave to have Europe send us their dvds. Send the discs all back, we’ll pay double.

Yeah it's bizarre - I had two recent purchases from Amazon Italy and France that never showed up and they immediately refunded.

He was my German teacher at school! Nice guy!

Or if it'll actually turn up from Amazon EU

The packaging is in German. Disc Content is the same. Just depends if you can cope with your box & discs saying Herr Der Ringe on them ;)

All it’s going to have is more extra right ? It’s not going to be a new master as it’s already the best it can be. It only come out late ⏰ last year

It's been well known for a year now, I'm not googling it for you. We have already had the 4k Steelbook sets, and this year is the collectors 4k set (without steelbooks). Probably going to cost a few hundred pounds though.

Soruce ?

You do know that a lot of the German version of movies miss stuff out ! They are not made by the same people so might explain why some are cheaper in Germany. A few YouTubers have mentioned they have stopped buying German versions of these movies because of this.

15 quid for normal bluray, 60 for 4k. I wish all these companies could start selling 1 disk boxes. I didn't ask for all the extra disks I'll never use.

Yes. A crap half a game.

Showing as Out Of Stock now

Still can't believe they got away with that with minimal criticism. People who bought the game should have been entitled to refunds since it was mentioned in every product description and they even put a sticker advertising it on the box.

Still to this day never got that planned third movie update.

German edition but has English language and subtitles.

These aren't.

Plenty of bad films make millions in revenue lol

No, the 4K UHD standard doesn't have support for 48fps.

Just buy the book for £5. It's much better and it won't waste your time as much.

Bad movies don't make millions in revenue. Personally I loved them.

The book needs no introduction. Nice low price on Kindle. Hope it helps someone.

Great book for adults and young adults 👏 how they stretched it over the 3 movies is nothing shy of amazing lmao (lol) the books tiny

(excited) Yeah, it was a challenge While I played the Spectrum version first. I got a BBC Micro, and the tape version, was text only, as it didn’t have enough RAM to support graphics. Melbourne House later released a disk version, which did have graphics, but controversially had a draconian disk protection system, which would only work on Intel’s 8271 chipset, used on the BBC’s original disk drive interface. Later replaced by the Western Digital’s 1770 disk drive chipset, as I think the 8271 was EOL. Of course once I got my chance to acquire an 8271, I removed the protection, so I could enjoy playing it without any hassle. The Hobbit, was responsible for my love of adventure games, became my favourite genre. Melbourne House, in my humble opinion, created the best. Their CLI, called “INGLISH”, was an amazing interpreter. You could virtually, finish the entire game with ONE command line, and it would decipher what you wanted to do without any problems.

Ha ha yeah, remember it well. The free book got me into fantasy. Not so fond memories of the game though. If you managed to get past the "R Tape Loading Error", I always got lost in the Misty Mountains.

Er hm, I think you meant, ZX Spectrum.

When I was a teenager (a very long time ago!) a friend used to race about this book. I picked up a copy and tried to read it. I hated it and gave up. A few years later the The Hobbit adventure game came on on the ZX 81 (younger people may need to look that up!) And it came with a free book - I tried reading it again and absolutely loved it and the game. Well worth a read, and unlike the film's, it is not overly long.
