Hi sorry if this is stupid question. This deal is the hotel room and one free day ticket for a child? Can you book the park tickets in the same booking or do they need to be done separately?

Hate to cynical but I can't see this going ahead with all the crazy new restrictions 😔

looks great but can not see it happening this year ;(

We went in July and I agree it was pretty packed. Whilst it was nightmare for my husband and I, the kids were oblivious to it all because they are used to going to busy theme parks (as we only go weekends or half term) and enjoyed themselves. We also got the Q-Bot thing so we didn't wait too long in queues. Most theme parks were like this though, we went Thorpe Park the weekend after school started and it wasn't as bad but then its tailored for much older kids. We did all the junior rides and didn't wait around at all (without the fast pass). Maybe give TP a try next time.

Reading is 30 mins from Windsor. Factor in traffic too, its not exactly round the corner. Also be weary as I've read customers had to fight for refunds as they only offered change if date for tickets and stays booked whilst they were closed earlier this year. If you're happy with that, fine but if you had a specific set of dates in mind then maybe get something in writing from customer service before you book

I booked a similar deal for Halloween last year and we had great fun, I was there last week and stayed onsite at much more cost. Yes it’s handy being onsite for sure. However the park was so so busy no one was really social distancing at all it was chaos, some of the queues were unbelievable to be honest. Hardly any of the rides had their photo system working so that was a waste of a digipass. For the second day we had to book the fast passes as previous day we did just four rides. Where as same time last year was different. However I know the passes are recommended. It is a great place if u love lego but I’d wait for better times after my trip last week, unless you wanna just absorb atmosphere

I'm seeing £58 a night for gloucester, 20—22 Dec, not £29. And £80 for soton west. Same rates for other December dates in Xmas week. I'm not logged into an account.

Doesn't matter if they're not making any profit

Another severe lockdown is due and will last until next year. I would recommend not booking anything this xmas the whole world will be pretty much coming to a halt.

I enjoy sausage and bacon with a hot coffee at a HIX for breakfast. Even better when it's not something like £14-£20 a lot of other hotels charge. (or nearer £35 in the IC in San Francisco) I've been mixing up the hotels I've been staying a recently. Only £4 more for a Crowne Plaza over my a few of the local HIX, so I've been staying there. Not paying £14ish for breakfast there as can nip out to Tesco, Greggs etc. and grab something for a 1/3rd of the price. Been upgraded to a club room the last couple of stays so free coffee, some soft drinks, biscuits and basic alcohol for a couple of hours in the evening. A few Premier Inns are around £35/night at present with free parking, so that helps keep costs down a lot. £29.99 for some Travelodges and Hiltons ranging from £57 upwards. My favourite HIX hasn't re-opened unfortunately. Not sure if it ever will to be honest. Ibis budgets are a little over £30/night so pretty affordable compared to some brands if you just want the basics. Had a look at the 3 night thing and the CP I've been at recently isn't included for my next lot of dates, although an alternative is for £118 for 3 nights (+£8.50/night parking). Can't really plan too far ahead at present as no idea what's going to happen. May find most hotels shut down again, Xmas is cancelled etc.

thanks, you just saved us from what, according to the review on trip advisor, sounds like a nightmare. Still can't believe it's 8 pound to park

We went this weekend, boys 10th birthday from April, this was the 3rd attempt of going, and we stayed at fhe holoday Inn @ Farnbtough, that was 30 mins away, although the 30 minutes was 30 minutes and easy enough to get to and from, nice hotel, although £15 for 🍔 and 🍟 was a bit expensive :/

spaceman051

Yes we just spent the weekend away there, staff were wearing masks, but the queue system was no different to before, yet when standing in the queue all yiu heard over the speaker was ensure yiu stay 2 metres away from anybody in the queue, easy enough to do with the people in front and behind, but difficult where the lines snake and yiu habe people either side of you as well, where the lines snake would have thought they could change it so every other row was closed, that way ensuring everybody could be 2 metres apart, but i guess them doing that would mean the queue times would double!! Also the amount of people who can't follow big white arrows on the floor telling them which way to walk is unreal, makes yiu wonder if they drive their cars on the right side of the road :/

ketan619

Went a couple of weeks ago. Would go again but this time with a fast pass. Queuing is very long due to rides being spaced out. Fair enough there is not a lot of social distancing...but everyone that is moaning should have been prepared! It’s a kids theme park. Kids are going to be everywhere. And if you were moaning about the distancing then you shouldn’t have went! It was expected

EmmaFletcher

I want to book for end of April next year (but still want free covid cancellation!) Can anyone guess when those dates might come up for booking?
