not a very nice rice and blimey 10 kgs!! that would be my whole lifetime supply.... if i had several lives

Nothing can beat Grand Tilda, obviously you pay a price for it tho.

This isn't as nice as some other brands so if u find Laila for similar price rather.go for that. This doesn't expand as much and taste a bit starchy too.

I'm surprise these are still selling full price as I posted this over five months ago. I think the stock they currently have was available from 19 March though as I just checked their website. May be still worth keeping an eye on to see if they eventually reduce the price. Good luck.

Managed to check Halifax Pellon last night, and still full price there too.

Checked Elland branch today, but still £29.99. Will check back in a couple of days as could do with one

Samsung ML 1910 Mono Laser Printer - £39.99 @ Maplin
Found 12th Feb 2012Found 12th Feb 2012
Saw this one in Maplin todayat Maidenhead. An assistant said it was national deal (But it is clearance stuff so may not be available at all stores). Looks like a good deal.

Exactly. As mentioned earlier in the thread, I usually buy HPs because of ease of obtaining compatibles, but in a choice between spending £40 on this or an inkjet, then the Samsung wins everytime for me, even if i had to buy original toner.

This is a belting little printer. I'd never go back to an inkjet now - I'd get photos done my max Spielman and print everything else that doesn't demand colour on this. Lasers are so much better and reliable. If you are like me and print sometimes a lot and then sometimes not at all for a month or so then a laser printer is the one to get. The paper is loaded from the enclosure at the bottom and can take a half a ream. The paper doesn't curl up if left too long because it lays flat. When you want to print you aren't biting your fingernails wondering if you are going to have to feck about with paper and spend a truck load of ink cleaning nozzles and checking how feint lines are on test pages. Once the printer has charged(about 6 seconds) it then spits the printed pages out, no matter what the content, almost as fast as it can churn them through. It has a sensor so if the paper output tray fills up it stops printing until you remove them, then it automatically cracks on. Prints perfectly every time, when you need it to. I'm convinced it's cheaper to run as well because there is no waste and I'm sure my inkjets used to use colour on my grey only pages. Cheaper for me anyway - I hardly printed anything and went through a lot of inks.

This link sells some compatibles but does NOT specify for how many pages is it good: http://www.refilltoner.com/MachineProductsNS.asp?id=SA1910&manu=Samsung&mach=ML-1910

i have had this printer for over a year now, bought it for £50 then, very nice, jus bought a compatible toner (2500 page) from ebay 2 weeks ago for £25, and it seems to be working fine. link for compatible toner: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270846223090&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:GB:1123

This thread made me chuckle after a boring day in work! Good price too and there's a Maplin two minutes down the road from me. Hot!

Bought! No idea why this is cold! Heat added.

Great price, even at £4.98 online. I recently ploughed through the lot, with the exception of Pacific, which didn't seem to agree with Vista.

A photo of a receipt would be good if you have one sm182.

Soul Calibur IV / 4 (PS3) £2.99 Pre-Owned @ GAME
LocalLocalFound 19th Jan 2012Found 19th Jan 2012
Also in the "3 for the price of 2" instore promo.

Fair do, but they were crazy selling a great game like this for 98p.

Makes me laugh. They were selling this for 98p previous to this so-called 3 for 2 sale! Gamesatation have done something similar also. 2 for £10 - or £7.99 each - yet many of the games in this 'new' sale were previously £5 individually!? For something to be classed as 'on sale' doesn't it have to be cheaper than it was previously!? Rip off Britain! Not voted by the way :p

I would snap this up, but I cannot find this anywhere :(

make sure you read the small print on the £5 voucher which you have to obtain online by putting in all the details of the till receipt of you previous over £40 purchase. Went to my local asda tonight with my wife to redeem the voucher our groceries came to over £40 handed over my voucher only to be told I needed my original till receipt I asked to see a manager I explained to her as I had downloaded the voucher surely that was sufficient she told me I should have read the small print and needed the original till receipt I replied you take all your groceries back were going to Morrisons which we did At one time asda was the only supermarket in my area so they used to have a captive clientele they do not have that luxury now you would think they would try and keep a customer who has shopped with them for over 30 years. may I also add that we are both in our sixties and it takes us all our time to read the big print never mind the wee stuff.

I got stung with this. I spent £40 and tried to validate online - was not having it. Apparently, you have to spend £40 on 8 unique items. I bought a duvet for £16 and nine other items - including 4 donuts. This was seen as 7 items and I did not get voucher. Only reason I went to Asda...sucks :(

clicky - spend £40 get £5 off next £40 Don't forget when you shop at Asda!

Tx, will check this tomorrow...
