Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition + Green Rupee or Triforce Light £49.99 @ Nintendo Store

It's the wii u and 3ds with all dlc for both joined into one game. In my opinion it's really worth the price.

Is this a complete new game, or another WiiU game released on the Switch at an extortionate price with an extra map or a couple of new characters?

Had the triforce light which was very weak also so will steer clear of this one too

Yes I made the foolish assumption I’d actually get my product ^_^

How it looks when illuminated see the uniluminated shape at the bottom. Ugly

Ah never played dynasty warriors will google . Loved Zelda I suppose Skyrim May be worth checking

It's pretty much a Dynasty Warriors game with Zelda skins Enjoyable, but it's not a Zelda game... In any regard really

Yes, based on the Wii U release, but it's *very* different from Breath of the Wild.

Is this a good game? I liked botw

I k ew it had exclusive content on card but not that. Cool

£12 trade in at CEX, £10 at GAME. If someone buys it and decides they don't like it, they won't lose out too much. I just traded my copy in a few days ago. I had a lot of fun, but I've been a fan of the Warriors series for quite a while, so I'm biased.

Smyths online stock checker currently shows stock at: Edinburgh, Grimsby, Rayleigh Weir, Rotherham and Salisbury.

It means currently out of stock in that branch. Any stock for future dates is unconfirmed, hence 'to be confirmed'.

When I search a couple Northern Ireland stores it says- Estimated In Stock: TBC 2017 Does that mean there's no stock? Confused oO

Finally I agree with Spasho on something. This game would embarrass the 2DS. HEAT for OP, nice one.

It'd be exactly the same as the Original 3DS version as 3D is disabled for this game on all original 3DS models. The only real differences between an original 3DS and 2DS is a 3D top screen and stereo speakers. For a comparison between the old models and new models check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2J98CvVau4

I'd like to see it running on a 2DS just for how cringeworthy it'd be.

Lol I've seen so many post's for this one posted one about a week ago myself, The price on this one keeps jumping around like crazy.

Lol 2ds? Will be a stutter fest even runs like crap on the old 3ds. New 3ds or it will give you a headache

Yeah, warning to anyone with the old 3ds this game will be at like 10-15fps and you can't use 3d. great game if you've got a new 3ds though :)

It's alright if you have the New 3DS model however if you don't you better do your eyes a favor and stay away.

its more 3ds to new 3ds that concerns people. Agree with whoever said it should have been a new 3ds title only. Not to be elitist but it saves any probs straight off the bat. And god knows they need to work on more than 1 new 3ds title. Just xenoblade chronicles 3d is nuts at this stage.

They should've just made it a New 3DS exclusive 'cause there'll definitely be people complaining that it's running slow on their 3DS and whatnot.

Well, yeah you should because of Cia's melons: EDIT: The 'L' was lust. "Let me get a good lusting". No kidding. They don't go that far. :p

In fact, 3D functionality is absent completely on original 3DS and XL models.

There is now a demo available on the eShop for this. It runs great on the "New" 3DS and the 3D effect is perfect. The graphics are nowhere near as bad as YouTube footage makes them look. Also, they've just announced continual DLC for this a la what the Wii U edition saw.

£24.99 at Base @ http://www.base.com/buy/product/hyrule-warriors-nintendo-3ds/dgc-hywar3ds.htm It is. On the Old 3DS the game doesn't even allow to turn on 3D and if that wasn't bad enough the framerate drops to as low as 15fps. Get ready for Amazon reviewers saying "The game is great but it runs really slow on my 3DS and I don't know why! - 3 out of 5 stars".

Someone posted in another 3ds game post a link to the 3ds/new 3ds comparison re slowdown pretty interesting.

Played through the Japanese version of this, it's pretty fun :) Good price for a new release.

Not exactly/confirmed- you can transfer the new characters from the 3ds version to Wii U, but all other Wii U DLC is paid vs included with 3ds version.

I could be wrong, but won't the Wii U be getting DLC to match the adjustments for the 3DS version?

Nice find, potentially 2% cashback at Quidco too

I highly doubt it - we've not seen any such 'complete' editions from Nintendo in recent memory, AFAIK

Awesome, been after this for a while and kept missing the deals. Cheers OP!

A great introduction to the Warriors franchise - and good fun too! Can easily sink a hundred hours without really knowing. The adventure maps add a lot of playtime.

Wow, feels like when the Wii U becomes a retro console in a good few years most keen gamers will already have a complete collection. This is another future classic ticked off my list now, thanks OP!

Why's that? Those who saw it for a tenner probably voted it cold, that's why I mentioned it.

Wii U's situation has been pretty bad and this year without Zelda it won't be any better either. It's pretty much a console for the Nintendo fans and only, it sadly doesn't cater to any other gamers. Then again, the 3DS has a much better library than the Wii U for Nintendo fans but it's not in HD.

i cant even see wii u games at retail stores and i live in a major city!!!!

or if you live in some random town in the uk with hmv wii u games on sale......lol

Also £31.99 on game for those who have credit. Unfortunately, I've been stuck with £140 credit for ages, it's painful trying to find games on their website at a decent price. After seeing this and watching a few videos i'm not 100% sure i'll like it, if I do great, if I don't...well that's the beauty of Nintendo games, I shouldn't lose too much. Better buying this for £31.99 that BF:HL for £44.99 then feeling sick when I see it on promo at another online retailer for £25 a week later.

Is this a good game for a 7 year old who loves Smash and Zelda games?

Seems like most products with the brand 'Nintendo' have their price either as is or increase even more. A loose cart of Smash 64 goes for £40 or so and it's not really worth that much but it's supply & demand. Smash Wii U and Smash Melee are the two best Smash games out there.

It's developed by Omega Force from Tecmo Koei so it's a third party exclusive. Though, not necessarily a 'true' exclusive as this for example is a rehash job that Omega's already done before but DW and hardcore Zelda fanboys love so there's a market for this kind of game.

Supply and demand my friend

It will only last an eternity if the gameplay is up to the player's taste otherwise slashing 100 enemies on every corner gets repetitive pretty quickly.

I used the code on Hyrule Warriers . Cheers

In the beginning, overcoming your foes feels somewhat easy. You’ll hack and slash your way through hordes of enemies with ease, and you won’t even consider needing to use the combos. Just like the other Dynasty Warriors games though, Hyrule Warriors is just giving you a false sense of security early on – it’s soon squashed, as you’ll have to take on more complicated tactical missions on the battlefield. http://www.nintendoforcemagazine.com/hands-on-preview-hyrule-warriors/
