Thanks OP, still some available :)

Last one is now £3.99 so have edited the description :)

Actually paying more than £20 used to be ok for UAG cases but the quality has dropped a lot. Spigen do make some nice stuff for the money - this is a good find and deal.

No, they replaced my phone with a fully refurbished "new" phone. You should read about Apple refurbs, they are as close to new as you can get.

What? Can you elaborate? From reading your comment, my understand is that you paid £25+£5=£30 for what you thought just for a new battery, but they also cleaned outside your phone too? Making it look brand new again!

I’ve just done a replacement battery and Apple have emailed me with a 3-5 week wait!

This was also mentioned in yesterday's copy of the Metro newspaper (page 21 of Manchester edition).

I sent my iPhone 6s Plus in using the mail in option (about £5 extra), they sent me back a “new” refurbished version - very happy to have essentially a brand new phone

I recently got a refurbished phone but have struggled getting insurance after envirofone’s warranty since it didn’t count as purchasing direct from a phone company

Got iPhone 7 128 gb for £348. Phone looks good but 3D Touch doesn’t work, battery takes long time to charge and didn’t come with earphone adaptor. I better send it back as don’t know what other software issues it may develop.

Not true, I emailed support where I was told to basically f**k off as they don't supply them even though they advertise headphones come with the sale, I argued that headphones that didn't work with the phone was pointless. Anyhow, put in a Paypal dispute for the cost of a new set of lightning headphones and lo and behold a week later without any sort of prompting, I got a brand new headphone adapter in the post. (lol)

Got an iPhone 7 Plus 256gb for £389!! Big upgrade from my 6. Very happy :D

Received my 7 Plus this morning and it is literally as new: can't find a single mark or scratch anywhere. If I received this as a "Pristine" model I wouldn't be disappointed.

I haven't but I have one of these coming Tuesday. I'll let you know what it looks like.

Anyone ever bought a 'good' condition phone from them? How did it look?

Thanks, grabbed an unlocked black 32GB 7+ for £369. That'll do me! Slight scratch on the screen but I'm going to put a protector on it anyway, also still under Apple's 1 year warranty until June 2018, so I'll be putting in a request to replace the battery under warranty, at that time. The battery that came with it had 97% of design capacity anyway but still, a free new battery will do nicely!

Cool story bro. And totally irrelevant.

I was told by customer service you would not be charged line rental if you also returned the phone. I will see what I get in the way of the first bill. Phone is brilliant!

I did it twice and never paid a month's charge after cancelling but just a couple of days pro-rata. I'm talking about cancelling in the first 14 days. The monthly charge doesn't get paid on day 1. I should have worded it like that.

You haven't paid it yet though (that's what I was getting at) so once you cancel they will send a final bill pro-rata with the actual charge. That's how it was for me twice. Hope this helps.

I have received my bill already for £26... and when reading into it a bit more it says it may be pro rata’d : 1 month plus what ever you use until cancellation?

Thanks op

Digging this up again for everyone: This is a great deal! ONLY Apple manufacture a Made for iPhone USB-C to Lightning cable. This is the ONLY safe cable available to buy that you can use to superfast charge your iPhone 8 or X. If there were third parties making affordable MFI USB-C to Lightning cables then of course I'd buy those in a heartbeat and I'd provide a link to them here; unfortuntely Apple doesn't allow third parties to make these types of cable.

As per official Apple support website: “Only Apple makes the USB-C to Lightning Cable. There are no “Made for iPod/iPhone/iPad” USB-C to Lightning cables.” This means that unlike other cables which are Made For Phone certified (like normal lightning cables made by Belkin, Anker, etc) this specific cable doesn’t have an official third party spec yet. This means that the cables that exist, reverse engineer this cable without official support. Considering that this cable allows accelerated USB-C charging profiles for latest iPhones and iPads, it’s important to get the certified one.

What you on about not offered by non apple brands. I have had one for a few months and its non apple and stop feeding false information about non apple cables may damage your iphone. Ridiculous!

You obviously weren’t into hi fi or home cinema are couple of decades ago then (lol)

Pretty good - even CeX won't be stupid enough to try and sell you a cosmetic item in terrible condition (I may end up eating my own words).

What condition are the Apple cases usually in though? Particularly the leather ones. Doesn't give an A/B/C rating or anything

I’ve bought loads of Cex Apple cases. Only one was ever fake. You can tell the fake ones a mile off, and cheap Amazon ones are usually not very responsive around the buttons. The genuine Apple ones have metal buttons that click really nicely

Nice sentence. I'll be sure to heed your advice.

It should be unlocked. Certainly newer devices seem to be shipping from Very with the same permanent unlock as Argos etc. A little known bit of information here is that since August EE iPhones that have been activated for over 24 months should now automatically unlock, so anyone with an old EE phone in a drawer should find that it works on other networks now.

I bought it a year ago at launch. This detail was in the notes I believe from very. However a quick check of menu options suggests it may be unlocked. I'm going to try Vodafone so I'll soon know.

How long ago was that? More detail needed. Argos used to lock to first SIM for example but this is no longer the case.

Not true mine was locked from first sim. Bought from very.co.uk

Not generally any more than it does before a new one is launched in my experience.

That’s a great price. What I would say though is that I’m dubious of buying phones from sellers on eBay or the Marketplace, unless they’re relatively well-known companies for the fact that, as you alluded to, the phone could be blocked if it’s a rogue seller and the phone proves to be stolen. If the seller is a UK company you can check up on, with registered address, etc you should be fine. What I would do though is use Checkmend just to ensure the phone hasn’t been reported stolen or subject to an insurance claim.

I bought a IPhone 7 Plus 256GB for £500.00 from Amazon market place with 12 months warranty, I wanted to know is it worth it for that price and can they block the phone I have checked the apple warranty it is until May 2018

They're brand new so get the Apple 1 year warranty coverage upon activation so supersedes the 60 day warranty from Smartfonestore. I've never bought from CEX so can't comment on the quality of their technical/customer support but I'd prefer Apple's technical support for one of their products that is still under their warranty any day over a retailer's.

£447.99 from O2 refresh for the 32gb if anyone is interested ;)

Hmm, a 60 day warranty? CEX offer 2 years.

Cheaper on eBay probably means fakes. It's common knowledge a lot of supposed apple headphones and on eBay and Amazon are fake.

Have not checked myself but I'm sure you can get it cheaper on ebay.... If that was the price for their wireless airpods then that would have been a bargain.
