Cheers guys

Good deal, showing OOS now though

I have a cheep version from AliExpress, used it for 6months daily. Haven’t lost it yet and I bet the magnets not as sticky as the Apple one.

It has not happened to me with mine before. I think if your jeans were really tight though then it would be an issue. The biggest problem with these is that you can really only fit 2 cards into it. While you can fit 3, it becomes so difficult to take out the cards that you end up just leaving them loose on your pocket. If your cards have your name or card number indented into them, then don’t even try with 3 cards as it’s even more difficult to remove them.

It’s less to post when you bulk buy labels, I think they rely on high amounts of orders, that would be my guess

No idea how they make any money at this price. 15% fees and £1.05 postage.

Sockproof is that in case you hide it in your shoes (lol)

Hey @dutsi123 , thanks for sharing your first deal

I heard the newer ghd ones are bad because the original technology isn't used anymore. The cloud nine brand now uses the ghd technology. Don't quote me on that but if you do a little googling you'll find stuff about it. My mum's ghd outlasted mine and the difference in build and performance is obvious when compared to those made in the past 5 or so years.

Had these and they broke after 2.5years, I don't use them daily. GHDs straight response, out of warranty and not interested. Had numerous pairs of other GHDs for 20 years, life span these were the worst and the most expensive.

It depends on how resistant the person's hair is styling (which is not the same as how curly their hair is). Unfortunately, I don't think this can be guessed, it is something learnt by trying various hot tools. More resistant hair will require higher quality tools to get the same results as less resistant hair using lower quality tools. Of course a higher price tag doesn't necessarily equate to higher quality. And I think most people have relatively easy to style hair, so don't need the best of the best. The Shine Therapy straighteners already mentioned get lots of positive reviews and often go to sub £20, but I thought they were mediocre and poorly crafted. My recommendations would be Glamoriser brand (just their standard model £40) for very good, or steam straighteners (preferably with a comb attachment) for excellent. Steam straighteners with comb do tend to be pricier, but still much less than these GHDs.

Cold from me they are charging you £10 for the case and gift set
