I was in the lookout for a pair of these and happened to stumble upon this deal in the Coventry branch of Costco. Not sure if this is available in other places, but worth a mention… Read more

Yep the Elite 75t are very good at this price. Whathifi reviews are rubbish, other than my own (of course :D) I quite like Rtings- they scored them quite well here As for Apple being better...oh dear. Maybe the Airpods Pro do sound better (although I don't remember them being anything special) out of the box, but the Jabra app is very good at tweaking the sound and they respond well to EQ. Maybe they aren't the best sounding earbuds and they don't have the best ANC, but they have a good mic for the form factor, support multipoint, have physical buttons, can be programmed to have a mute button and as an overall package they were still very good at this price. Regarding one earbud failing, that's not a Jabra specific problem that's earbuds in general - it's the most common fault for returning buds across all vendors. Usually it can be remedied by cleaning the battery connectors with acetone - none of mine have failed but I've fixed a few for other people this way - and if not, cleaning the inevitable sweat/earwax residue that builds up on the driver mesh (although if I remember correctly the 75t doesn't have a mesh so perhaps this is why). If Jabra has more complaints about this I'd speculate it's because they sell more units than most other earbud vendors so naturally the noisy minority is going to be noisier.

I disagree, with the correct eq these sound good for what they're designed to, certainly better than apple anyway

It also seems like a good time to give a worthy shout out to @regancipher who has made some really helpful contributions to earbud deals that get mentioned on this site. His review of the 75t's gave me the prod (shock) I needed to snap these up. I'll post a link to his review or comment, (when I find it)...

So you have chosen almost the only bad reviews for these…. :) Or you could look to the many positive reviews including ones that say they are still one of the best wireless earbuds around today. tomsguide.com/uk/reviews/jabra-elite-active-75t-wireless-earbuds google.co.uk/amp/s/www.cnet.com/google-amp/reviews/jabra-elite-75t-review/ There are certainly better headsets around now such as the Sony XM4 and the Sennheiser Momentum 2, but they are over twice this price at the very cheapest, and often 3 x. To be honest I use my Sennheiser CX400BT as a preference to these due to the better sound quality, but the there are no bells and whistles on the CX400s (ANC etc) and the Jabra Elites are fully water proof, so great for the gym or in the rain.

Many thanks. Was looking for a pair of these. Great price for ‘used like new’

Argyll68

Mine have been great the first 2 days but started cutting out yesterday. No idea why.

They’re still available, I’ve just bought a pair of the ‘used - like new” ones at this price (see photo). They come up at £45.58 in the listing but if you follow the instructions at the top of the OP, the additional 30% is deducted at checkout. Top find @Frank30uk - thank you.

Received these yesterday and the headphones were unused. I already have the 65t and 75t. In comparison, the sound is a definite step-up. There are a few people complaining they can't tell any difference between the 75t and 85t. I don't know what they were listening to but the soundstage is completely different. I found them to be louder, more natural and with more detail. I also had the Huawei Freebuds Pro and the sound is perhaps not quite as good as those but I was unable to get a secure fit with the Freebuds. I listened to them for a few hours and they remained comfortable throughout. The ANC is also a huge improvement. Very happy and I can stop looking for headphones now. If you are thinking about buying, it could be worthwhile waiting a few weeks. Jabra have launched the Jabra 3, 7 Pro and 7 Active which will replace the older models. The 3 is already available and the 7 Pro / Active will be available next month.

Audio is very subjective though I believe that review is when they were released at £230 or similar. I would say the shortcomings are a bit more forgivable at 90 odd. Jabra have a particular, sometimes bassy, sound signature, however they have a very good app that lets you customise almost everything from EQ to buttons, ANC & Ambient sound levels as well save presets. These have bigger drivers than most so get quite loud. Jabra are one of the few that let you connect to 2 devices at once but you can only use the right bud on it's own. The mic quality is also very good. In my own tests I found them to have stronger ANC than the Airpod Pros (though it sometimes struggled with wind noise). They've had a few updates since release which has improved things so watch the more recent reviews on youtube that cover improved ANC or mic tests.

These aren't very well reviewed on What Hifi (3/5). Opinions?

neelsn007

I can understand the hygiene concern though a lot of these 'Like new' ones are described as simply having a damaged box

I have the 65t, which I use with a garmin fenix 5s plus, and the connections is poor, have to swap wrists so it works marginally better

realistically can I actually attend a conference call on a train with these?

trustus

Anyone have these and noticing bass distortion when ANC is turned on?

Jijin2

https://amp.reddit.com/r/Jabra/comments/i27snf/does_the_jabra_elite_85h_35mm_jack_support_mics/ According to Jabra it doesn't, no idea why they would remove something that a 10£ headset does (annoyed)

asalhan

I think so, it’s like a pass through thing. You might not get all noise cancelling features with the headphone jack.
