Great news will stock freezer ip today at 50p a loaf many thanks

How do you eat it when you take it out of the freezer, doesn’t the bread go out of date and all thick and frozen. Do you have to heat it up with a toaster or a grill. Does it taste any good like fresh bread, every little helps

So on paper Warbutosn, reality is Fine Lady Bakery. Seen plants, no impressed. in 5 years time KM will take over majority due to huge investment in state of the art plants. KM Bakery in Bredbury (Stockport near Manchester) is now the biggest in Europe.

There are some bad reviews on this product but non the less I thought it was a good deal =P
OP .. "There are some bad reviews on this product ... "

That's because of it's '50/50' healthier eating health benefits, etc?.

That's all?, a minor really ..... hehehehe. :-)
Nice one OP. :-)

Best of both is better than this, in my opinion.

But does it have the qualities of 50/50 ? i.e wholewheat bread that has a smooth texture which is ideal for toasting ?

Most other brands are better.
I've actually taken a liking to Tesco's wholemeal bread which is also 50p all year round, but this nonetheless is still a good deal

I was lured into Iceland under false pretenses! I went to get some Kingsmill Thick sliced bread but when I arrived there the poster offer was for medium bread only!!! The thick bread was £1 or 2 for £1.50. What's going on Iceland , what's going on???
Funny how most of the comments criticising this bread don't realise that the preservatives have already addled their peanut brains!

IMO the best everyday bread that doesn't turn into a soggy mess or go stale quickly is Aldi Best of Both and which is always 45p

And the best for white sandwiches is Hovis Farmhouse.

Irrelevant of my opinion or anyone else that quite clearly doesn't know what they are on about - this and Hovis is very unlikely to ever taste stale - always appears "wet" to me.

Good deal for branded loaf and much cheaper than the other major stores.

Just get the Aldi one everyday and save 10% lol
SCOUSEKEVIN

Wholemeal loaf has nice malty taste, cracking cheese sarnies.

Apart from bloomer bread/ some form of proper bread, I can't stand white bread, too tastless.

slice open and fill with a little cooked apple and brown sugar.. yum
These are a bit strange, but I quite like them. As mentioned, it's a bit like a square, fruity, wholemeal pita bread. 50p is about right though as they are pretty small.
Didn't like the Berry at all. Eat one and donated the rest to the garden wildlife.
Yeh did wonder if that was idea, but found that a faff- & for the record I work in a shop where these were the upsell very recently, we had a very poor uptake on them, & those who did give us feedback on them were mostly disappointed.

No good- it says to put butter on them but they're coated in teflon it … No good- it says to put butter on them but they're coated in teflon it seems, as butter just slides right off!Weirdly, & others agree with me on this, they all smell really good when you open the packet & also when they're cooking, but the taste is really mild.

You make a pocket inside and put butter inside

Taste mild as there is only 2g of berries per toastie oO

Quite nice but 50p is the right price.
