Amazing Glad to hear. What’s the next job ? (y)

Yup very heavy & excellent quality - another job off to ‘to do’ list (y) :)

Looks heavy and expensive

Got tap today, excellent quality & fitted it straight away which was very easy :) thank you🙏

Sure. It's a different type, but my sink wouldn't hold the weight of the tap posted here, being over 2kg. So went for one of these lighter models. Wayfair has a similar one for £12.99, but just couldn't be bothered for an extra £12 should anything be wrong with it.

Single Lever Operation Built-In Aerator 10 Year Manufacturer's Guarantee (T&Cs Apply) Suitable for High Pressure Systems Modern Design 35mm Ceramic Cartridge

Tempted. Anyone know the T&C's for the 10 year warranty? I bet it is fairly limited.

Just ordered one, getting it fitted tomorrow

I havent got this but I have got a similar one. Mines got two buttons- one is a flick switch between spray and stream. The other button stops the flow as long as you hold it. It releases when release it. I suspect this one's the same

I'm just looking at this tap myself. Some of questions: Can this be used a usual tap or just a spray option This item only has spray options. Default is with the jet spray. If you change to the shower spray, then turn the tap off, when you turn it back on it will revert to the jet spray. Would anyone be able to explain how the two buttons work? I haven't fitted the tap as yet, but I am curious to know why one button simply 'clicks' when pressed, and the other doesn't seem to 'lock' when pressed, One button controls the spray and the other will lock it on when the spray is in use. One button causes the tap to go into "Spray" mode, the other button when pressed stops the water flow and then when released reverts it back to the normal flow.

Is there a button to select between the spray mode and the normal tap mode?

Yes, it is that simple (assuming here that the present single socket is wired according to current standards)

I have a single plug under the sink and this is used for the dishwasher, is it as simple as having a double socket installed, or would a dishwasher and hot water boiler be too much load? considering this but only if it is doesn't involve anything too complex.

U r going to make me do it Damn

looking for cheaper filter carts if anyone knows of any which are compatible with this.

saves an additional item on worktop and yes, instant hot water. had one fitted in our new house and i dont think i could go back to using a kettle. its one of those items where until you dont have one, you dont think you'll need it (y)

Finally got round to installing the tap yesterday and it seems like a decent tap. No complaints about quality

You do need to add £15 for online membership, so whilst it doesn’t always add up, it’s still a few pounds cheaper than purchasing it elsewhere. I found the next best price online to be around £86

Do I have to pay £15.00 on top to join just to buy this?

Seems to have gone up slightly to £67.99 but still an excellent deal

Great tap this - have in kitchen and plumber said one of best taps he had installed (surprised given price point). The unbranded bargain tap I got for the utility sink at half the price got described as a piece of cr*p so bought one of these last time on offer at Costco but still in loft awaiting install.

+ screwdriver. I had copper pipped tap so used pipe cutter, pipe saw, isolating valves, and sandpaper.

Did everyone who DIY fitted this use a Basin Wrench and 2 x adjustable spanners? What was the tool list you all used? Thanks!

good reviews and easy instructions .brought 1 tx

I bought it about a week ago, before it got the discount >.< But yeah have to agree, with above Easy to DIY, the pipes are not UK standard but it comes with adaptor so nothing to worry about. As for the flow it's reduced but it works out for me as it helps to reduce water waste so I'm all for it. Lastly it's pretty tall and you can see it flex the sink which I was worried about at the start but after using it for a while it's not bad as long as you don't try to man handle it when swiveling it around.

Got this and another spring looking mono bloc taps done as a diy last year. Relative novice but got it done. Note this is euro spec 3/8 flexi pipe but has a 1/2 to 3/8 fitting included. House has really good water pressure but did notice this had reduced the flow, unlike the other one installed that was straight 1/2 flexi pipe. Best thing about this is that the height just clears my Brita so can swivel it around and fill.

In practical terms, I have "suffered" with this type tap for a few years. Now I have this. Much happier now :D

Any good deals on basin taps anywhere, need to replace mine :p

46726 If you look under documents, you'll see a spare parts list. These parts are common across the range, and will be available for years. You could always pre-empt and buy a couple of washers and cartridges...

Buy a spare cos when the rubber goes in the flexi no way will you find parts a year+ down the road

Wow that's not a good looking tap! good price so heat added
