Literally only the Simpsons series 2 ones left (horror) went there to buy the Kerrang magazine and had a look at them while I was there
Yeah and mine. I couldn't believe they were there, last 2 as well. Just need to find the third one now! 😰😰
I was gutted they didn’t have any Mixels. My son loves them!
WHSsmith is like an Aladdin's cave at the moment. In the last year I've found 2 series 1 Mixels, a Cars 2 set and old minifigure series. They haven't had anything for a while now though, might have to go to a different one of their bargain basements by the sounds of it...

Lego mini figure simpsons 2, model 71009 reduced to 99p @ argos£0.99Argos Deals
Mini figures from Simpsons 2 range, model 71009 , 99p. Birthday cake decoration idea too ! <3
That's the beauty of Lego. You can buy this set, and make whatever you want with it. It's more for the large number of bricks you get for the price. A good way to work it out is cost/number of bricks.
My kids have had quite a few Lego kits over the years and they never get used as they fall apart. The kids then want them rebuilding but struggle to do it themselves as they are so complicated. This year they have asked if they can have just a bucket of Lego so they can make that they want. I will never buy one of the large kits again. It's frustrating for both child and parent.
Thanks op! I'm buying this on weekend and going to try to assemble this with my feet. It'll be my new weekend challenge!
Yeh that's the one lol, homer ruins his 3 questions after trekking through himalayas or some place!!
haha top simpsons fan! he's mentioned it multiple times I think. And I'm sure the episode where he meets Kwik-E-Mart president is one of 'em. "Are you really the Head of the Kwik-E-Mart?" "Really?", "You?". "Thank you, come again". lolololol
I was close lol, i went off memory from the episode he mentions his name haha, pretty sure it's the one he goes to see the god or buddha or whatever
Apu Nahasapeemapetilon* sings "Who Needs the Kwik-E-Mart?" Correction-ception.
*the* come on man Apu nasapeemapetilon or what he called be upset right now ;)

Not at all bizarre IMO. Lego Simpsons House is £180 even using Quidco CB of 11% it doesn't come down to JL price. Currently Quidco site isn't even working for me either, all I get is:- I'm planning on getting Toys R Us to price match JL and then use the 2x £15 off coupons I gained on the "buy 1 & 2nd half price" Lego promo a few weeks back. Should gain me another £20 coupon to use later due to the spend over £75 on Lego promo plus I'll get another set of the mini figures that they are offering with Lego purchase over £45. TRU deal should workout for me £115 The Simpsons House + 4 pack of mini figures + £20 coupon
Is that only via quidco? I can't see it on the Lego site. Thanks
Price match at toys r us and receive £20 voucher as well
Bizarre that this is hot given that both are over £10 cheaper after cashback at the official Lego store plus they come with an extra free gift set, there.
who needs a kwik e mart.... I doooooooo

Got delivery of kwik-e mart but no "Free LEGO Geoffrey the Giraffe" with order and have contacted them. Anyone else have the same prob.
we printed it out, but they also had a copy of it at the tills. ours wasn't a very good copy as printer had run out of ink!
Did you have a paper voucher or could you just show the code on your phone for the £20 discount?
we bought the Lego set number 60097 for £104 yesterday, went to the tills and asked the lady if I needed to spend an extra £16.00 to qualify for the £15.00 voucher card too. she said we didn't need too even after using the £20.00 discount voucher and a free giraffe!! so in total we paid £84.00 AND got a gift card to the value of £15.00. bargain.
so you get TWO x £15? I'm imagine you need to spend £120.01 + minus £20 off spend £100, brings it to £100.01, then you receive ONE (or two?) £15 Vouchers for future spends? Edit: Ive added 3 Lego sets (1 x M/Falcon and 2 Lego Friends, totalling £130, but the SAVE20 isnt working!)

I won this set a year back on their facebook page and it is still a hit with the kids. The detail is fantastic and it looks great on display. I also used getting this one free as justification for buying the kwik e mart set which is also packed with detail and great fun to build.
Lego are charging £165 for this , I pity the mugs that keep them in business (_;)
I used to think the same. Then I watched a documentary on Lego. The precision and care they take over every piece is mind blowing. Their tolerances on what is acceptable is incredible. Every piece designed and tested to fit with other pieces that are 50 years or 50 seconds old without issue. Yes it is just plastic and as a raw material you are getting screwed over. It is engineering in its perfect form though. People design these and then allow others to be able to do the same. Tested and refined into something that we all love. For about 6p a piece. What is more innocent than Lego?
Think a tenner's overdoing it, more like £2-£3

I found and reserved 8 today.. after about 10 minutes of waiting 4 came out and they had to refund me the rest.. So check at the till despite what the stock checker says.. However will be the last time I visit Argos.. everything is so excruciatingly SLOW.
in a sealed complete box of 60 figures u will get at least 3 of each character. so you would end up having 3 complete sets of 16 and 12 spares. U could either use the bump codes to identify them or open one set and then identify them from there. Opened they go for 30 ish but sealed u get more. But as I say it has to be a complete box of 60 unopened
T3rm3y - if this only looks like a hollow yellow building to you then I suggest you either a) get your eyes checked out or b) open them and actually look at this model. As Mike626 points out the level of detail in this is ridiculous. Definitely one of the best pieces lego has released in recent years and the price point is actually rather generous given at MRP this is a sub 8p per piece item.
Thanks just reserved
oos near me :(
Definitely not a hollow yellow building. There are loads of items to build inside from the kiosk to drinks machines, fridges, shelves etc. Lots of different items. There's a stock room at the back too. This was one of my favourite lego models. Looks great too and it all opens up to show off the inside
Looks like a hollow yellow building with some simpsons stickers and a few characters that you probably already owned from the simpsons figure packs... rip off pricing by lego. They should be ashamed.
