You would be correct.
This is tlc rather than the lesser qlc right ?

Yes that's correct, a Chinese memory company bought the Lexar brand name. I got the 480GB version of this last year (bargain at £37) and it seems decent enough.
Why all the overpriced 250gb ssd posts??
Wasn't Lexar sold a while back by Micron? Not same company any more.
Annoying, they never post the write speed do they.
Not too bad, I got the 480GB and it performs much like the Integral P series or Crucial BX.
Still available to order though.
Out of stock.
Now £28.88 - heat added anyway
Finally uhs2 posts (cheeky) <3 (highfive) (y) (party)
Solid Reliable cards for 4K Video and Photography. I have had 2 128GB and 2 256 GB ones.
90Mb/s max write speed on these which is UHS-I speed and the key figure if your shooting burst / want to clear the buffer quick.
This one or Kingston https://www.7dayshop.com/products/kingston-canvas-select-plus-micro-sd-sdxc-memory-card-class-10-uhs-1-100mb-s-a1-128gb-sdcs2/128gbsp
Good find (highfive)
Any good for switch
Is this any good for a dash camera Can’t find any info if it’s MLC
The card has a class. in this case it is Class 10 (10MB/s). This is the minimum rate what the card needs to achieve. (y)
When they state speeds "up to 80 Mb/s" what exactly does that mean? When or how can I get this speed? What is the average speed?
in canvas select the speeds do seem slow. but what about the canvas select Plus cards?
just got back into the country, was gonna order this now but price has gone up.
Liking own comment... jeez
Read write speeds are terrible on the Kingston cards
If you're VAT registered and reclaiming the VAT, Amazon is better value (and next day), MyMemory seem to lose the VAT on all their products which is a bit annoying if buying for business - also a bit shady.
On N bc
Price now jumped up to £61 as out of stock from Amazon.
very kind words, thank you :D - but you and some others put in massive efforts to find some great deals so thanks to you too... group hug everyone (y)
Thanks for the tag. @spannerzone , it's you who holds all the Crucial information that's helping the community. You have been outstanding and truly valuable with real life opinions and expertise in each of my SSDs post . Thank you very much. I appreciate it. (highfive)
So i only have evos and an intel ssd how good is this in comparison?
Good info, as I mentioned above, I own one of these and several BX500's and there's no difference in performance, most of these drives are the same in daily tasks. Lexar used to be part of Micron / Crucial, but was sold off to a Chinese memory maker a couple years back.
Not bad.... the 480GB version is available for £36.99 from Amazon but not selectable on the Lexar NS100 page Here's the link https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07HNCWCNL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Will be for a Sony A7R IV when it arrives. Took up the recent 10% off deal at Park Cameras.
Its looks a decent buy. What are you using it for?
Thanks. This prograde one has £17 off with Amazon making it £110. Would that be good value? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07T9JV7K7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_iCMbEbY8SSJW5
Depends on your budget, the Lexar 1000x isn’t much faster than a good UHS I card, so I’d just buy a Samsung Evo V90. If I wanted UHS II I’d be looking at Sony/Prograde or one of the better Lexar cards.
Do you have any recommendations for a better one?
It worked for me and now tried again and it seems to have stoped working for this item but may work for other items
I've gone for the 256gb and and 2.5" - 3.5" enclosure to fit into my 3.5" hot swap caddy. Using it just to store some movies/music etc...nothing major. Some of the files are greater than 4gb, will I have to format this drive into NFTS?
My guy <3
Not working, maybe account specific?
use code GIFT5P and get £5 off the 512GB one! Ordered mine for only £34.99 (y)
Thanks.. Will try different USB port 1st... Need to find different bigger USB
Install new windows tool and try a different USB port preferably on the motherboard
Hi Guy, need some help here. i installed the ssd, and using media window creation tool to install fresh window 10, however i got this message when installation error code : 0x8007025D. i will reinstall another media window creation tool in another pendrive and try...but if you have any quick fix, please let me know. (fierce)
Cheers, never heard of them before
'' Lexar was founded as an American manufacturer of digital media products based in San Jose, California. Just bought one of those for my switch previously had 256gb integral card and it works great the transfer speeds are a bit slow but it works fast with the switch when installing games and loading
Voted hot, this would be perfect for my shield TV 2015 for using as adoptable storage! Not ordered yet though ...
Unfortunately I have had issues. I make it a blanket rule to test any memory or storage I buy, regardless of seller, and especially if I’m buying something of a very specific spec.
Some want it purely for storage (Like wot I would !) Not for a small and often dubious increase in write speeds as for reviews, I dunno about you but 4 and a half stars average out of five I wouldn't class as bad. Far from it. And as you know, a lot of "one star reviews" are for the item turning up late or other reasons with nothing to do with the actual performance of the item. Whereas THIS has 3 and half out of five which is significantly closer to "bad reviews". You sure you aren't mixing them up ?
I never had an issue with cards from Amazon. But nothing but issues with cards purchased from eBay. Waiting, testing, sending it back and claiming is all a hassle and takes lot of time. Amazon is worth paying extra imo.
Is this any good for a dash cam?
It appears that model has a built in eMMC solid state drive (a lower cost type of SSD if you like) and I can't see any mention that the netbook has a suitable SATA connection for a regular SSD like this one. So I think you're stuck with no real upgrade path for the existing hard drive.
Thanks. How would I know if my old one can or cannot be changed? Certainly not the fastest but I like the portability of my Toshiba click mini L9W.
Fyi can't find anything online about IOPS for the NS100, but the NS200 has 95k/90k so it's possibly guna be lower than that as it is a lower model.
Don't need one but for sure heat added X
Yes some laptops and netbooks have non upgradeable head drives,
I got the 480GB version, seems fine and same sort of performance as most other budget SSDs like Crucial BX500, Integral P or SanDisk. Power users or those that regularly move/edit or work with large files consider getting Crucial MX500 or Samsung Evo otherwise these budget drives are fine.
Ummmm write speed is "Unspecified" - wonder why would that be...
Paid £27 for this for my xbox one. Mainly for PubG Works a charm
Same supplier also offers this: Integral P-series 240Gb for just £24.49 each. From their 'performance' line.
Ah.. ta. I didn't know that (highfive)
Good for the switch?....... I joke (lol)
agrh it's just shy of 100MB, but great price!
I sent the usb back to 7dayShop who refunded me the week after so will deo reuse them.
these usb sticks are crap they have broke allready trying to get a refund now
I have bought the 3 pack as my sandisc has stopped going its also 64 gig but noting seems to copy no more. formatted and still keeps crashing :(
Are these as fast as the advertised speed? I’m continually disappointed at the write speeds of the usb 3 drives I’ve purchased. Last one was one of the metal 64 gig Kingston USB3 and it only read at about 60 and write speed was about 20. With amazon it’s easy to return goods, but 7Day shop don’t make it that easy from past experience.
Silly question can you plug this into the back off your smart TV to record programs
