thanks, just looked at reviews for 4K and lots of people saying write speeds are around 45mb

Alright for the price being 512gb but Write Speed on these is shown as 45mb on lexars site

Weird that they call it compact flash when the image is an SD card. I can't see it not been SD card at this price but still a bit confusing

As per the usual for cheap drives they don't bother to tell you the write speed. Read is up to 520MB/s on a SATA3 connection. So will still be a brilliant replacement for an HDD in… Read more

I swear every time I check amazon again the price has dropped. Had to edit it about 6 times now.

Vawallpa

Seems decent enough reviews and don't need more than 256gb so may take a punt

It's changed repeatedly since I posted. I keep updating the price.

Shows £20.50 for me

Interesting. I have one of these lexar drives but mine's 15mm high, this claims to be 7mm. I couldn't even use mine as I couldn't fit it in any enclosures or disk bays.Maybe this is a newer model

Ssd will completely transform an old laptop.

barry.huxley

These any good? Might throw it in an old hp laptop. Assume it's using a 2.5 disk at the moment. It's too slow to be using anything else lol.

What happens if it’s faulty? I bought a deal on here for a bt mouse from Amazon Germany it didn’t work - had to pay for return - more than mouse binned it wasn’t worth the trouble. Won’t buy from Amazon international again.

It’s an awful card failure rates are huge

I don't know why this is cold either. It is a UHS ii regular sized SD card labelled incorrectly as a micro? For £12? It must be a regular sized card cos as far as I'm aware they don't make UHS ii in a micro format? I've ordered one anyway and if it works out good, I'll order more.

Kupo

I'm not sure, maybe people are skeptical that lexar are not what they use to be since they were bought out, or that doesn't live up to how fast UHS-II speeds can go. I think it's a good price to performance ratio. They've been reliable for me as well...

Why is this cold ?
