Damn was looking on there yesterday but it was still £2 more or something. Contacted them on eBay to cancel as it wasn't dispatched yet and I get this notification a few minutes later: (lol)

Thought it was a sodasteam from the thumbnail pic!

So its 3 times better at writing files than the MyMemory Sticks, so should get heat.

yes mate but that is through ebay but if you go direct to 7days shop you also get tcb were as ebay havent got any discounts on tcb at the moment

thats cheap. man these jumpdrives are blistering fast. best ive owned

When 43% of reviewers give it 1 * you have to be a serious optimist to pay money for this. The Lexar brand name has been sold to a generic no brand company. These will be no better than the flood of nasty drives found on ebay. https://www.amazon.de/Lexar-JumpDrive-128GB-LJDS57-128ABEU-Blaugrün/product-reviews/B012PLHT5A/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&reviewerType=all_reviews#reviews-filter-ba

Far too slow IMO, I cannot be messing with slow flash drives. I have 2 flash drives which beat this by a big margin ++2x. A sandisk extreme Go usb 3.1 works very quickly. These Lexar drives are quite well know for poor build quality and all of these issues means I will avoid it.

Similarly priced Integral and PNY devices also available at Amazon here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Integral-128-USB-Flash-Drive/dp/B019JY1W54/ref=sr_1_16?s=computers&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1544809537&sr=1-16&keywords=128gb+usb+stick&refinements=p_76:419158031,p_n_size_browse-bin:320119031 https://www.amazon.co.uk/PNY-Attaché-Memory-Stick-Drive/dp/B00VBIB5J0/ref=sr_1_17?s=computers&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1544809537&sr=1-17&keywords=128gb+usb+stick&refinements=p_76:419158031,p_n_size_browse-bin:320119031

Only £2.50 more on Amazon. What's the warranty on these like, I wonder if Amazon would replace them if they go tits-up in first two years? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lexar-JumpDrive-128GB-Flash-LJDS57-128ABEU-x/dp/B012PLHT5A/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1544809556&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=Lexar+Professional+JumpDrive+S57

Lexar Professional 1000x 64GB SDXC UHS-II Card [Eco-Friendly Packaging]

Read a lot of reviews on this. Seems like these cards are not very reliable

Obviously what you say is true but I think you’ve missed my point. I have a canon 80d. For less money I can buy a bigger and faster card for that camera which is limited to UHS-I. This is probably true of many people because UHS-I would have been the standard on many devices.

It writes at 84MB/s and reads 150MB/s according to that review. I mean...how is that not fast enough? It can do 200mbps 4K all day long. Unless you're shooting on a RED One camera I can't see what else you would need.

I believe with UHS-I devices the Samsung is actually faster. This appears to be fairly slow when using UHS-I (compared to the fastest UHS-I cards) and not a great UHS-II card either. Obviously if you do use the UHS-II it will be faster and seems to be a lot cheaper than most UHS-II cards but that probably because it’s not a very good one.

Is the OP's Card real?.

Good point that.

https://www.carcamcentral.com/guide/recommended-sd-cards-avoid-sandisk-ultra-cards The Lexar 633x was one of the cheaper cards that had good endurance and used to be recommended for dashcam use. The brand name was sold by Micron to a Chinese company in June, so I'd be wary of the brand for now until there are reviews for the new supplier

Does anyone know of an independent website that tests sd cards and allows you to compare their results? With all the brands and types and speed ratings, it seems that's the only way to determine whether they are good value or not.

I bought Integral 256gb from 'Wish' couple of years ago for 7-8 quid. It's still running perfectly. However, not all can be guaranteed. :)

Lexar 16GB Micro SDHC Card £5.69 7dayshop
Good price for 16GB card

Thanks, ordered three for £4.99 each, works fine on my Android phone.

That explains the lack of interest from the Lexar emails - that said ALL the British based complaints departments are bad and don't like living up to their warranties. Found in the past the best bet is to bypass the UK one and complain to head office if you can for any of the electronics. Worked for me with SanDisk and Sony in the past

Unfortunately Lexar is no longer Lexar as we knew it...the brand was sold off to Longsys, a Chinese company.

Bought two Lexar SD micros over the past 5 years - BOTH stopped working in a year. Got in touch with Lexar and they don't want to know (unfortunately I can't remember which site I got it off and checking hasn't brought me any luck and yes, they were genuine and loaded the correct 64gb and played fine.......For a year.) At least SanDisk DO have good back up. I'll never buy Lexar again

Thanks OP. Ordered.

I believe both PNY, and Transcend Media are good too? (if I'm not mistaken?). :-) I personally haven't tried PNY yet myself, but I own some Transcend stuff (and I've had no issues with them).

I bought, delivered, then it went out of stock so I refrained from posting deal, then it came back in stock, so I posted deal, now out of stock, so worth your while keeping an eye on this if you want it. There are cheaper ones available at the same place, but none of them are close to this speed and this one is only a few quid more so worth it.

These are really good. I have one. Excellent value for money. The reviews on Amazon also refer to other models namely the plastic contact ones. Speed wise these are good. Hit 150 on read.

Only good for saving files on? What the hell do you mean? It's a flash storage device; saving files on is what it's purpose is.

These are really crap! They are only good for saving files on not anything else. Id recommend sandisk they are the absolute best!

Check my other comment please...

Ive seen things get four and a half stars on Amazon which were utter crap and returned. Ive seen things on 2 or 3 being far better than expected. Its your own individual experience. Ive got one of these and its fast and very good.

USB3.1 specs are up to 10gbit/s ~ 1.2Gigabytes second, there 's a review here with benchmarking at 3:27 -

Nope. 2 minutes googling found this : https://imgur.com/gallery/xiEg9 I think there are on clearout as Micron announced they're closing down the Lexar division a couple of months ago.

It says: speeds up to 550MB/s read and 400MB/s write, but this is an external portable SD card connected via USB port. I'm currently looking at the the 2.5 internal SSD drives and they have similar read/write specs. How can that be? I woulkd have thought a drive connected directly to the MB would be faster than a USB port. Any help appreciated, thanks.

any idea where can i sell the picture? so the camera can pay for it self

The 5dsr is comparable to the D810, which is also cheaper. People buy the D5 for a reason. 12fps at full resolution and 14fps with the mirror up. Low noise at high ISO. If you already have many Nikon lenses, your not going to switch brand. Like me, have used nikons for many years as the lenses don't date as fast as the bodies. Not everyone wants huge files which are not needed. D5 owners want high quality images which can be processed fast. I could say that the 5fps your camera does in 2017 is poor, but every camera is suited to different types of photography and budgets. Your camera has a shutter life of 150k frames, D5 is 400k frames. The new D850 costs about the same as your camera, has 45.7MP and can shoot 9fps.

Sold out now!

In the title it clearly says 'XQD Card and reader, and the description says 'cards', notice the plural.

Then make that clear in the deal description, I backed up your deal based on "a free ... card".

If you want overkill then go for Sandisk extreme and pay well over the odds for little real benefit. It all depends on what price you want to pay and how you use the cards. One the budget side this and the Toshiba U3 are pretty well matched. The budget range may struggle on 4k so if you don't want to take risks then go for better. Note that each card has its pros and cons. Toshiba for as long as I can remember have always been strong on read speeds but weak on write speeds. You will get better write performance on the Lexar cards. Sandisk Ultra and extreme and Samsung have been consistent all round performers. If you are not recording 4k then any class 10 card will more than meet your needs.

its £21.99 now

got one for 9.99 about a yr ago, can't believe how much they gone up in price

Hi, Will this be any good for a Hd pro200 Dash cam? Thanks

not a microsd and not a low end like this for a start start your camera can use decent cards if you need to cheap out then would look at sandisk extreme as a minimum standard or the red u3 kingston, 95/85 transcend etc or could spend more and use uhs-ii or xqd which would be even better
