for Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus/S8+/S7/S7 Edge/S6/S6 Edge, Nexus 7/6, HTC 8X, LG G3 and All Qi-compatible Devices

Each to their own I charge my phone at work and therefore the quicker the better :)

Probably ideal for overnight bedside charging. Mine fast charges and then sits there at 100% for 5+ hours which can't be good for the battery. I'd rather it trickle charges for 5 hours and was just ready in time to get up in the morning.

Glad it's compatible with the S8 Plus and S8+

No fast charging booo :(

building a pc yourself is always cheaper than buying a ready one, but if you can't be bothered then this is okish if time is money

Yer I was just looking at that. 1070, 16GB RAM, 2TB, 256GB SSD for an extra £47 over this deal you shouldn't even have to think about it. Now that is a system with £800 - £900 worth of parts.

Mine arrived but comes up with No SIM message, tried 3 different SIM cards, anyone else having the same problem?

Warning: Ordered, Phone arrived quicker than I thought 2 hours ago I picked phone up straight to case: screen is simply very dirty underneath. far away from advertised "Pristine Condition". a lot of dust and dirt spots. no its not the protective screen. sorry. don't get me wrong phone except of screen was in really good condition. I have emailed the seller. they might end up acting professionally but had to post this to warn others!

Yes, indeed. I have not encountered such problem although some of my friends had issues with bootloop. Overall, I think that it is a good price for a phone that will not be receiving any new firmware updates to Oreo unless you flash it with a modified firmware.

No I didn't root it. I flash the rom. I downloaded the right rom for my lgg3 d855 then install it via pc. Just google it everything is there, below link is pretty much what I did. Before you do it make sure you backup everything and do it at your own risk (there is chance to brick the phone ) https://www.fushanj.com/blogs/fushanj-com-latest-updates/how-to-upgrade-lg-g3-d855-to-android-6-0-marshmallow-os

There are so many apps available to backup your data and they work the same on every Android phone, even one as old as this. Also not a good deal, you can get an LG G4 for the same money.

Average specs. Awful case.

Pretty poor IMHO, been far better deals posted here in recent months including two machines with GTX1070s for less than this and definitely seen GTX1060 systems cheaper. GPUs may be scarce but you can still do better IMHO...

What a con. I bought a G3-605 for £120 and just spent under 300 for that exact same graphics card. 16GB ram 256 SSD and a 3TB stock hdd. I think you would save loads if you did the same in comparison.

Fair price, but not a hot deal. Could save few more pounds build own machine with same specs. Unless you want transformer tower case ;) Heat for your time, the price is just OK.

Exactly a reasonable price for a pre-built machine. The rough price i would expect to pay for similar spec, pre-built. But it not a good deal or hot.

Excellent phone had no issues with it. I upgraded to oneplus after

I wouldn't. Simply too old, this barely had any life in it now. 90 day warranty, which is probably about exactly how many days it will last before it decides to never turn on again. Last time i bought one of these it was for £20 more... About two years ago. I'd take a cheap Hauwei over this all day long. At least it would be reliable.

I used to love this phone. Still sat in a draw but now not working. Heat for the price!

I wrote this a while back when the phone had been out for about a year. It still rings true: For a dare I once ate 20 jalepeños in a row. I have also got blind-drunk until 5am the day before my first scuba diving lesson. And I have jumped off a 40ft pier into freezing water. I still consider buying the LG G3 the worst decision I have ever made. This handset will delete and/or move your content as if possessed. It’ll be as responsive to touch as my fiancée after a 13 hour shift in A&E. It will brag of it’s multitasking capabilities and moments later develop early onset Alzheimer’s. This feature is particularly fun when you are driving in central London using the Sat Nav and you get a fun little phone call that even if rejected, will prompt a fun little game of ‘Enter Postcode’. The phone has an additional feature not advertised: by leaving the handset switched on for more than an hour you will engage ‘Heat Mode’. This handy little function will enable you to cook an egg or murder 10 million sperm depending on the location of the handset. The phone also freezes. A lot. I’m not kidding, the software is as stable as a fat kid on a tightrope. Heading towards a cake. Whilst balancing a sofa on his head. With 2 people sat on it. Wrestling. LG G3, Ebola, Syria: Avoid them all. Especially in that order.

Free delivery should definitely be available as long as you're in mainland UK. There delivery options are a bit steep and rubbish, the free option is snail mail, quoting delivery before 10th April. I decided just to go for this option and hope it arrives sooner, as I'm just taking a punt on the phone, and got something else I can use in the meantime.

Bought one of these, thankfully not at this price, I really liked it, it was excellent size and weight considering screen size, excellent display, but I'm a bit of a sad geek as far as the camera is concerned and to be frank even though according to many it's the best phone camera ever in my opinion it's actually not that good, at the time i had a Moto G 3rd gen with 13mp camera, (obviously no laser focus, cheapo phone etc) but the photo quality/detail of photos was far superior to the LG G3.

good, I love my G2 just it's getting on now

on certain serial number g4 there was a bootloop problem, g5 has the GPS problem, both fixed if returned

I would buy a G4, but comments on here put me off.

Aye, I'm wondering if it's worth bothering with a refurbished phone now since I'll be on the lookout for a G3 elsewhere.

Incredibly bad, be interested hearing if anyone else besides yourself on HUKD has ordered from this company.

Thanks. I would give that a go, however when I've gone to take my sim card out (in preparation for sending it back) I've also noticed that the screws holding the chassis together are missing so the whole assembly can be popped out. Doesn't inspire confidence so I've asked for a refund!

Did you try a factory data reset with holding down the buttons? If you power off the phone then hold down the power button and volume down and keep them depressed until you get the LG logo on screen, quickly let go of those buttons then depress and hold the power button and volume down again for a couple of seconds you will get the factory data reset screen and do a wipe from that. Also if you can get out of the boot loop I would check in settings to see if you have the IMEI or if they have made the same error with shoddy rom programming that they did with my phone.

Thanks for info. Externally the condition sounds similar to mine. The seller has asked me to try a factory reset but I have tried and it then got stuck on the LG start screen for 20 mins! I think mine will need to go back.

Received mine...returned it after 2 days, still waiting for my money. I will never order from Vodafone again, after an hour of transferring me to few different departments they don't know if I'm actually due any money from them! Waste of time, you're lucky if you get your order, but it gets even worse when you have to deal with CS.

Anyone got the phone

Never again....finally got my order, after around 15 phone calls, countless web chats, promises of call backs etc etc. Online team were sure my item had been despatched to store, ordered 09/05. 12/05 no notifications, go to store, nada. Spend the weekend trying to chase it all up....I cannot get through to my local store via phone, neither can the online team...was not going to go to store on another fools errand. Somehow miraculously today through a webchat a guy gave me the actual DPD reference for my order after questioning the warehouse (something I have not been given before (just an internal despatch reference), mysteriously I found from the tracking with that the store had actually received the goods the day before I went to be told it had not arrived (11/05). Armed with this I go into store this evening and nearly an hour later come away with the phone. Transpires my WEB order number had wrongly been allotted with another, and they did not even know on the system what to do about it to push it through...I had paid for the goods but they could not give me the phone until they sorted it, so there was the phone in front of me, the holy grail of 8 days of grief still not in my clutches....eventually they managed to work something out on the system. From overheard conversations they would have not let me have it if payment had not been taken, it would have spared them any hassle they clearly were frustrated to have to try and deal with. (_;) Anyway, despite all this...never again, rude staff in store with any complaints, useless online team, useless customer services team and I am intending a follow up with Vodafone head office in Newbury.....I have had some pretty bad customer experiences but this tops it all, and to be honest with it being for a gift and the anxiety it has caused me it has not been worth it, personally I have been a mental wreck with it all. I am going to try 0333 304 4764 tomorrow that is meant to put you straight through to customer relations between 9-5, and also log complaints on social media, regardless of getting this phone I am feeling vindictive about the way I have been treated as a customer both instore, online and over the telephone, and I am not going to leave this experience and how it has made me feel ill rest until my voice is heard by someone at Vodafone that at the very least pretends to care, even better if it is with any sincerity. I have never known such a company have so much disdain for their customers, with no apologies. Or for that matter a company that get their backs up as soon as any criticism is drawn to shoddy service....guess they are used to adopting a defensive manner they are dealing with bucketloads of complaints daily. cicobuff " why do you never answer your phone in store, I tried countless times as did the online orders team to track the order to no avail". Store Advisor "why did you not just come into store and purchase in store" cicobuff "errrr because stocks of this particular model are not available in the store" Store Advisor "why did you not just order for home delivery" cicobuff "Because it was a birthday gift for the item that has now past the date and I did not want my wife as the recipient knowing" So critisise a bad aspect of the store and you get the third degree back about your purchase habits...with no apology for the inconvenience, no apology for not being able to contact the store, no apology for the fact you had already been in to the store once already and had to deal with an equally bolshie sales advisor. No real thought about the fact I have to travel to my store...granted it is not far a journey fortunately to my local but that is besides the point.....would love to see how they get on if the boot was on the other foot. To top it all off I have just had to cancel an Amazon order mid delivery as I was pretty sure I would not be getting this phone as an intended Birthday gift. Anyway, thanks OP for the heads up on this, it was a great deal and pleased to get the order...I would never order from Vodafone ever again though despite a tempting cost, the grief far outways the benefits.

I asked my order to be cancelled no less than 5 times and still nothing. This is why I've given up talking to Vodafone and getting a refund through my credit card company.

I am exactly the same, especially when you will be stuck with it for the next two years, my son has the LG G4, so we have the full set! But the screen size is the same as the G3 and you get used to it, although it uses more battery.

Thanks for the reply, I've been comparing features at and wonder if LG phones are just too big. They do seem cheap given the specifications & great value for money. Will eventually bite the bullet but as my family knows all too well, I spend ages deciding.

I have had the LG G2 for 18 months and it has been excellent, and just got the LG G3 deal for my wife, I like the better battery life of the Samsung, but I also would consider that the LG G3 was their flagship phone last year, whereas the Samsung is classed as a mid range phone, but it is a difficult decision to make as it ties you into a two year contract.

Was looking at the S5 neo deal from here at the same price, now I'm stuck. Do I get the G3 (never had an LG phone) or stick with Samsung and get S5 neo

I finally did get the backlit keyboard, just fitted it, works a treat. Went for this one here on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162266290072 Key layout is identical to the standard keyboard, with the addition that you control the backlight via fn-f3, cycles through high, low and off. Pretty simple to install - four screws, one to remove the ssd/wireless cover plate, then three keyboard screws. Only fiddly bit was folding the ribbon cables over, but these are marked so pretty hard to get wrong. Delivery took just over a week. At just under £20 it's the most no-brainer upgrade going for anyone that uses their laptop in a darkened room.

Haven't taken the plunge yet, no!

@ruklaw Did you install the backlit keyboard?

Just had £125 paid into the bank! £50 to come then all my cashback is paid! Thanks OP

Well, it's not so much a mod as just buying the correct HP part - the laptop already has the connections and capability to use a backlit keyboard, it just doesn't have one as standard. Unfortunately the UK layout backlit keyboard doesn't seem to be available from HP (possibly because they aren't selling it with backlit keyboard in the UK market) but there is a suggestion that if you contact an HP part reseller they might be able to obtain it. Looking at the official channels: https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/Search_Results.aspx?mscssid=91419B1EFDC847DEAE267A4546FCBC67&SearchIn=PartNumber&SearchPN=827029 You can see there that you can buy a backlit keyboard for the probook with the German, Czeck/Slovak or Denmark/Finland/Norway keyboard layout - but it does cost you about £60 Perhaps worth a punt is this one on ebay for £27: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-UK-Keyboard-For-HP-Probook-450-G3-455-G3-470-G3-Backlit-With-Frame-Black-/172208255123?hash=item2818697093:g:YgEAAOSwve5XOUiw I'm certainly tempted to give it a go, perhaps next time payday rolls around.
