This is a god awful hotel! About 2 miles from the stadium through quite a rough area. The noise from the road and the heat in the hotel is unbearable. Shame as we have stayed in loads of Travelodge and not fussy but this one is really bad.

daveydave

CL final is in Madrid next year I believe.

Wirralbargains77

£40 for that weekend all be it 1 mile from Wembley

Ayden1977

Doh :) Maybe it's the date of the champions league final though. But not sure where it's being held :)

306notout

Play off final weekend so potentially even better as four teams could want to stay that night rather than just two for the fa cup.

Area is pure natural beauty. Stayed there last year and going this year too. Lots of beauty spots to visits, not all within walking distance, but each destination requires some walking to get to the beauty spot that you'll be aiming for once you've driven close to them. Generally if you're in remote areas of bodmin, your mobile internet will likely be very poor and the wifi on the property also likely will be extremely poor. Thats the only downside really.

mumjit

Can anyone please recommend somewhere in the UK to holiday in the UK for a family of six in Mid August that is also pet friendly? Looking at spendding under £1000 if possible. Been going on 'Forest Holidays' for the past few years but fancy a change this year. Any recommendations would be really appreciated thanks :)

superstarbj1

I love the south coast we use the sun holidays a couple times a year around Dorset Cornwall as we get it at crazy low prices via the deals warmwell in Dorset got a big log cabin for 7 nights for under £200 and the place is really nice

Sp0oner

Thank you for looking it's much appreciated. I shall have a look on there and see what I can find. I was looking for August because of school holidays so not quite last minute but compared to booking months in advance it is (y)

For me personally I like nice clear water and surf, so Wales, Cornwall , Brittany or anywhere south of there. The English channel just doesn't do it for me.

We stayed offsite in a villa and had a hire car. At breakfast at home most mornings. I prefer the more laid back nature of a villa and trying all the non park restaurants. Save money that way too.

derbywiiman

heading to carribean beach resort on may 3rd for 2 weeks. for 2 adults 2 children and infant cost us 4k with dining plan and tickets. with thomson. booked last june.

StottyUTA

To do everything, I'd recommend 2 weeks. 7 days is not enough, you would feel you rushed everything but that might be plenty to other people.

Lotsoftrees

Wow. So how long if you just want to do just the Disney parks do you reckon?

Lotsoftrees

Thanks for the info. Thinking oh heading there for the first time. Were you staying in the Disney hotel whilst doing the other parks? Considering doing 2 weeks at Disney and then taking a couple of days to do universal.

5,376.00 GBP for 4 nights accommodation(so call free night included) with full board and drinks for two person share a room? No, thanks.

bseal1947

It’s only around £750 per room per night upwards

Master.G

Plenty of deals get posted on here stating 'free' this or that when in fact you have to spend money to get it. Free is when you are getting something in return for nothing. If something is £1.50 but advertised as buy 2 get 1 free, what you are doing is buying 3 at £1 each. There isn't a free one.

luvsadealdealdeal

I hate to be a party pooper but they're not actually giving away free nights with no strings attached. Maybe OP can explain the deal?

You can park at various places near a Disney hotel then catch the Disney bus in or you could do when I last went and it was $18 or you pay the $154, just need the pound to get stronger against the dollar.

keithdaniels336

The new Avatar is great, however you wont be getting fast passes at this short notice so it would be a 4 hr Que, also the Disney express doesn't run from Sanford hence the car hire I assume, it would be better without the car and the transfer included as once there you don't need a car anyway.

dealorama

7 days I would probably only get a two day ticket (one park a day) and do MK and AK - avoid HS as you suggest would cost around £180 for tickets pp would not do Universal on the same trip. 7 days is tight, but its a cheap trip

abigsmurf

I wouldn't recommend 7 days for a first time Orlando holiday as a family. It will be incredibly intense and you run the risk of not getting everything done. First evening : getting to the hotel + dinner First Day: Epcot Second day: Magic Kingdom (DO NOT do this park Sat, Sun, Mon, it will be unbelievably packed) Third Day: Animal Kingdom fourth day: Universal Studios fifth day: Islands of Adventure sixth day : Disney Studios or anything you want to do again (Disney Studios is a building site with not much to do at the moment) Disney hotels have a really excellent, flexible bus system that runs constantly. For the Disney parks you'll save $20 a day using the busses. Expect to pay another £450PP for tickets.

Wood floor extends to an atractive verandah area. All wood roof construction. Features two perspex windows and full height door. Dims. 131 x 120 x 147 cm.
SmittyBear

They Were £149.99 last year. Be warned they recommend painting the parts even before assembly in the instructions! Really...... ? Also you'll need some felt for the roof as the kit doesn't include a roll. You'll need it as there is a large gap at the top of the pitch. Happy with it though :) Well worth the money the rubbish plastic ones ain't too far down price.

ace_rees

If anyone is looking for this in the South Wales area and can pick one up. I have one that I will sell used. I put a felt lining on it as well so it is in immaculate condition. It's also been permanently kept on top of patio slabs so the floor is also in great shape. Pm me with a sensible offer (all money will be given to my 6 year old autistic boy so he can buy some more toys)
