I disagree we've always found it much better than the likes of Bella Italian etc we've never had a bad cafe rouge meal
Do you have to call them to book in advance or can you book online as a lunch reservation?
cafe rouge is awful though.
6.3% off for new customers too with TCB (y) 🏻
Course, I forgot Blackheath is in South Ossetia rather than South London (skeptical)
If you're out of stock, you'd be better off with a stock pot instead of a tiffin ;) . .
sold out in birmingham.
out of stock, ! ;(
Wow, I've had a few of those TVs in the past. Has technology moved really fast since then, or am I just really old?
Really bad reviews on Amazon for this. Shame as I was going to buy it too.
(cheeky) XD (lol)

No asda local to me sadly but this is a great deal
Tiptop find @UKtom (y) +1 on the Stilton flavour! There were none in the Bootle iceland store, so flew down to Portsmouth to get some & applied for a job while I was there! :p
Not sure about the stilton but the red Leicester mini cheddars are amazing. They are really flavoursome
Red Leicester flavour are unreal :D
Perhaps he's an Iceland area manager.
Stilton is my pick but has gone from local Sainsbury stores.
Heat from me. (highfive) I love the pic. :)
yeah had to be that one (my nearest)!
We went to our local one just outside Aberdeen and the value is very, very good. We actually went with an Itison deal, two Sundae carvery 4 course meals for ₤7. The choices if my memory serves me correctly included a soup course and then individual prawn cocktails, salads, mackerel, cold meats selection, mini quiches etc. Gammon, turkey and beef carvery selection as well as a large veg selection and then for desert there was the sundae selection as well as chocolate fudge cake, individual cheese cakes, chocolate mousse and other cake selection. There as far as we could see unlimited trips to the counter and the food quality in the Aberdeen one was fine.
You can't book a Sunday on that link at my local one, every other day but not Sunday. Bit strange.
Its the 'kids eat free' bit that's putting me off going!
Also the carvery is totally unlimited including the meat
I haven’t been back since that sorry saga . Wasn’t surprised that they had to be bailed out last week, they would definitely have lost customers over it and have a smaller pool of staff to pick from.
I don't know if it has an expiry date it could be ongoing. The is every day, but times differ according to location.
How long is this on for ? And what days and times can you get it pls ?
I'd love to know where you're getting your prices from or why you're bring so biased. Yes, it costs more than McDonald's, but a Byron cheeseburger is £8, not £11 and it's a 6oz burger, so calling it small is again an exaggeration just to try to prove a point. But if you think that's expensive for a high street restaurant, I'll put it in perspective for you. That cheeseburger has just under £2 of ingredients in it, which means there's a food cost of about 25%, fairly standard for a restaurant. A margherita pizza from the likes of pizza express, sells for around £8 as well but costs them less than 50p to make, yet people don't moan as much about it being overpriced. Then again, they're not competing with Macdonald's.
Honestly I liked the burger I had the one and only time I went and will be going. But Christ I don’t care how fresh the meat is to charge £14/15 for the burger WITHOUT fries or a drink is crazy and the place isn’t what I would call posh. They then charge a crazy amount for some potatoes deep fried and put in a tiny metal bucket. It’s a restaurant chain that makes fresh burgers and puts them in a bun that’s about it. That is why sadly they will go bust soon despite all the efforts they’re going too to save the business. I’m sure a high number of customer visit and never return after a rather expensive meal out.
Price now gone up to £6.99 (without 20% discount). Please can someone expire this, thanks.
Showing £5.59 including discount for me
FYI , Just got my belt and its quite surprisingly good quality..Bonus!!
Again, already posted!
I plan to get back into it at some point and restore them all, i think i had a Schumacher Cougar too thinking about it although i'm sure thats in bits.
I used to stare at the Tamiya RC cars in Taylor McKenna as a kid. I wanted a Hornet so bad. I've tried to get my boys interested a few times but they won't take the bait. So I may just buy myself one.
I was never into RC stuff myself when I was a kid, but when my 10 year old hinted at a 'Proper RC Car' (somewhere in between the cheap £20 battery and mucho more expensive Nitro/Petrol) a few months before Xmas I figured the "Grasshopper" might be a good idea after seeing it mentioned on here and a few posters were reminiscing about how much they loved theirs when they were kids. I ended up getting one from "TimeTunnelModels" as mentioned, who I have to say were great and gave great advice. However, guess who had to build it on Xmas day? A few days later, I took my son and his new RC Grasshopper to a play park, which had that rubberised floor and which was frost covered and he loved it! It was in fact perfect as he was able to drift his RC car around obstacles with ease. The upgraded battery was a good idea too as we were there a good 45 minutes and the battery seemed to still ahve plenty of life left in it. It did cost around £130 all in (with better battery/charger and upgraded controller), but was well worth it in my opinion. Quite tempted to get him this "Lunchbox" too, but......... £140+ with all the extras needed! :/ Not sure if the van body is initially white, but if so, then add in the cost of paint too @ £6 per item.
Original Cats are worth a fair bit now, same with Optima Mids. :) We have this re released Lunchbox and it’s superb, just the same as the original. I also have the Grasshopper but need to build it up yet. Son got an FTX Vantage for Xmas, now that thing is a beast. :)
Beatties? would sell the Tamiya catalogue, so many in the catalogue they never had in the store. I had a Mardave Meteor if I recall
