Hamleys Trafford Centre - Closing Down - 20% off all items in store

Hamleys toy shop in the Trafford Centre Manchester is closing down at the end of the year. as a result they are currently offering 20% off all items in store

Aye... and things like computer games and DVDs you can watch trailers / gameplay and generally get a better feel and a better price online. Clothes will stick around because people still like to try them on before buying.

Variety has been driven out by high rental prices. The independents cannot pay those high street or Mall rents.

Shame, in a way... shopping centres just seem to be mostly clothes, overpriced computer games and naff Thornton's chocolate, these days. Feels like we used to have a bit more variety.

Nice find :)

Not surprised, very overpriced, and never seems busy in there.

This could break record for being the coldest on here in years

Why do people buy BMW, or Audi, or Skoda, or Peugeot, or Ford, or Citroen etc when a Dacia will do the same job? Personal choice. A deal is a deal. Whether you want to buy it is your issue. Stop foisting miserliness opinions on deals

Have some heat. Trolls on here aren’t voting on the deal, just their bigoted opinions. I don’t support MU but this would be an excellent secret Santa pressie for an MU supporter, of whom there are many.

Not one I've done yet. We went to Chile too, hiked Torres del Paine one New year's Day....

Add Costa Rica to your bucket list. Amazing for wildlife.

Been to the Chilean side of Patagonia but not the Argentinian side.

Yes it's always been on my list, had wrote it off as being too expensive but managed to get Avios flights from GYE so very cheap in that respect. Just planning land based itinerary DIY style, the cruises are eye watering expensive and when you consider you can get inter island ferries and then individual tours I'd rather do that. We did a cruise in Antarctica/Falklands/South Georgia as it's obviously not accessible any other way!! We made our own way to Ushuaia then after onwards to Patagonia using Avios but it was once in a lifetime stuff, I'd go again if I had a lottery win!

You will love Equador and the Galápagos Islands, been there too.

Thank you - I have booked to go on the 03rd January from Newcastle.... Always wanted to go to Iceland and with the excusions included its a decent deal....

I think this is a good deal, we went few years ago and paid about £500 a head and some friends looked last year and it was over £1000 each, seems Iceland trips went really expensive not sure reasoning for it

Anyone comment on what Akureyri is like? I quite fancy this from my local airport

Whoa! Thats a crazy price! Would recommend Iceland though!

awful news, the company asked for feedback on this, large percentage was negative. The people who mostly use this, use this for work, and it has just made commuting even more expensive. Poor service, overcrowded, and once again there will be no investment in the service to make this increase worth it (annoyed)

Quite right too; when you have a modern and frequent public transport service there's no good reason for anyone to drive into the city centre.

Oh wow- amazing!

Burnham will now attempt to hurt motorists with the intro of that dreaded tax

If they do add extra routes, stations & more trams then that should help cover it since traffic surrounding Deansgate atm is getting very bad with the roadworks which is turning away trade. Do we really need more bike lanes when Manchester is already literally covered in pot holes everywhere?

I sent you a message on Facebook;) .

I did think you lived on the other side of London! I am not too far from Stratford so it's possible I could make it, will see.

Not happening near me;) .

If they wrapped anything you wanted you'd probably bring lots of Costa merch to give to your relations :D I only have 1 or 2 small things to give but I can't wrap very well so this is a nice idea! I think it will be for their merchandise only though.
