thats what i though cause the normal game is like £20-£21 on here & this has the extra content thats currently £15.99 for only like £7 more so thought it was worth grabbing & posting as a deal

nwxan90

Underated title for the switch. I loved it. The gold edition is totally worth it it's like a complete extra game.

Decent price if you want this from Amazon (and have Prime)
GeordieRob

I got mine in an eBay 15% off deal in November for £27, but if you search 'Mario Rabbids gold' on here there's been loads under 30 quid in the last couple of months

SUPERCOOLWILLOW

think you mean a deal like https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/mario-rabbids-kingdom-battle-gold-edition-switch-2699-instore-sainsburys-exeter-alphington-road-3183350

GeordieRob

I played through this a few weeks back and loved it. My advice would be to watch out for the deals on the Gold edition which are regularly on here for about £25 or £26. The DLC is £13 on the Nintendo eshop, but comes with the Gold edition.

Smeeble

Agreed - guaranteed next day delivery is worth the extra quid imo.

Malachi_X

NIgelK: Cold. Cheaper elsewhere as pointed out. It is a pound cheaper elsewhere. However some people prefer to buy from Amazon though - as stated in description.

Np ,sorry if it was a bit negative but I just think this is one of the worst mainstream game of this type (turn based strategy )

NIgelK

Cheers thanks for replying (y)

codnan

It can be pretty hard so might not be great for 12yo (mine would be frustrated by it but is better at fortnite than I will ever be )

NIgelK

Thanks for your comment. I'll maybe pick it up for my 12yo (y)

codnan

I have . Its ok but that's the best I can say , it like things like xcom but with all base / reaserch / squad care removed which makes it a bit dull imo . I would recommend xcom / mutant year zero/ Valkyrie chronicles over this over rated game

Erdoga95

Yes it was.

Jayswa

Also got this cheaper in the eShop sale, Loved it. So much infact that I bought the DLC, nearly 100%d it but gave up on some of the DLC challenge stages (horror) if your into turn based strategy combat games, id say bite!

jamie15

I didn't get along with it but that's because I easily get bored of strategy games like that.

Mrswitch

Yup. Pretty disappointed with it tbh

How easy it this for a 6 year old? I don’t get it is like bomberman

UltimatePhoenix

I'd pay around the £27.99 mark, I don't use CEX so surely a £20 sell would be assured on Ebay or the Facebook thing

westy90

Well cex give £15 cash so if you can get the gold for less than £30.99 its a saving

So if I could get £20 its worth it, IF obviously

Somebody’s had a bad day

Seanspeed

The Donkey Kong DLC is a legit expansion. Why do you say it 'should be free'? I honestly dont get this weird entitled attitude from so many gamers. They spent extra time and money to make quality post-release content and you just think that after a period of time they should stop asking to make anything off it? This game is already regularly on sale and has dropped in price, unlike most 1st/2nd party Nintendo games and you think they should just start giving away major pieces of content for free, cuz of.....why? "I just dont want to pay for it", seems to be the only explanation here.

martinmarv

Price is Ok, but pretty standard for this

Halz1985

I personally bought the gold edition when it was on sale on the eshop. The base game is brilliant and the dlc is just more content. I would recommend going for the gold version just thought this was a good price for the base game.

kenny009uk

I’ll wait for the gold one I think.

Best Super Mario game ever!!!

julzsimon

Just discovered this website n saved £10 on mario u deluxe x

deathhaggis

It's a great price for a physical copy but I don't rate the game itself unfortunately. Just a second rate Xcom clone Nintendo outsourced to Ubisoft. It has none of the charm or polish you'd expect from a first party Nintendo title. Nobody would give this a second look if it didn't feature Nintendo characters.Plus the stupid rabbid versions of Nintendo classic characters really annoy me.If you want a turn based strategy title on the switch get Valkyria chronicles instead 8)

andywedge

My son proper loves this game. Wish there was a stand alone Rabbids game for the Switch though.

Sounds good and maybe worth spending the £35 it is for gold in most places v the £25 for standard then ?. On my list to get soon. Thanks

Jayswa

Adds basically a whole new game to the existing one. New 'world', newbattles, bosses, characters, weapons ect ect

mark_chandler

Is the extras in the gold edition worth the money or is it another case of adds so little and can be passed safely ?.

Jayswa

eBay. I assume the seller was a gaming store employee by the amount of random gaming bits they sold, Was the code you get from the gold edition - probably salvaged from a customer return or something.

noahsdad

I ended up buying gift cards from pcgamesupply and adding them to the american site.

Is this gold edition meaning it comes with the new-ish Donkey Kong story?

Raz

Seems Nintendo have caught on to this. Not working with Revolut or PayPal. Ugghhh

matej_jones

Right, so I was at work when I found this deal so haven't tried until now to buy it myself. How on earth do I get a payment to work via the US eshop? Paypal doesn't work, credit card needs a US ZIP code, I tried linking Revoult to Paypal but that didn't work either.

okay shame thanks for letting me know though

gungho_trucker

Don't go into it expecting a traditional Mario game. It's a turn based strategy game, so it plays out at a much slower pace - more like a board game than an arcade game. As a grown up I didn't find it complicated at all, but it does require a little thought about how you're going to make your next move. My six year likes it, but I help him out quite a bit - and I like that.

jona77

No I looked myself cheapest at the moment is £38.85 from Base.com for a physical copy or just over £33 from the Nintendo store for digital

raincatcher99

Anyone seen anything good with this code for Mario odyssey?

jona77

There was virtually no stock of the gold edition anywhere in the Uk as soon as it was posted as it was only available on click n collect! I know as I searched most of the northwest of England no one had stock!
