All Marshall Headphones Discounts, Offers and Sale - August 2020
Good deal even if the prices are a little inflated on their website. It is still a £40 saving.
That's a solid price for good quality kit. Not a mega bargain but a very fair price.
Great set of headphones Used them in the past, sound and bass was very clear Really tempted to buy at this price Heat @Ken good deal
Just to be clear, this is the wired version - not wireless. I have the Wireless Major II and they are fantastic. Awesome for web conferencing. If you don't mind wires, this is a good deal
Had mine for about 18 months. I don't get on with the small cone like in ear earphones, they feel uncomfortable after a short time, so these Marshalls are great, just adjust the cable ring to get a good fit. Sounds great, good battery life. I use occasionally for calls but I haven't found the mic brilliant (sometimes people complain I am too quiet when using it). The criticism about the dangling battery and running is probably fair but I wouldn't use something like this for running anyway. Single button operation can be a bit fiddly but you get used to it.
Site doesnt look reliable ... any advise?
How are these? Can anyone recommend?
I always find the Bluetooth headphones with a hanging battery always drops out if used for running so total wireless is better. Other than that love Marshall heads phones so hot from me (y)
I can't agree with this, I have owned a lot of BT headsets, some for sports, some for conf-calls, some from early days when the tech was new and when I bought a pair of Marshall MID ANC for my wife, I could hear straight away the difference in quality. For example I had an AKG BT headset (AY50BT I think) and I thought it was good, but it's nothing like the Marshall, you would have to be deaf to not hear the difference. Sure, they will never sound as good as a wired headset, but there is a huge difference with a £50 models...
There are a lot of people that are easily drawn in by a brand name, these will have a standard off-the-shelf bluetooth audio chipset and amplifier chip. The bluetooth audio source is inherently poor, you can't put back what has been lost. It is just audiofoolery to think that the spending this much on bluetooth headphones is going to get you anything better than a £30 pair. Yes a £30 pair is probably going to be significantly better than a £15 cheap and nasty set, but even 12 year olds with perfect hearing are not going to notice any difference here. Clearly there are too many people with more money than sense, somebody is laughing all the way to their private island on the proceeds of sales to brand snobs.
You sure you didn't buy a vacuum cleaner by chance? (embarrassed)
Who makes these? Surely these aren’t produced my Marshall
Big market for these if they had a mic on ! esp for the work place.. and you would look cool
It would seem so: http://www.mynewsdesk.com/pressreleases/zound-industries-and-marshall-sign-new-agreement-2780807
What next? Skullcandy make guitar amps?
These are the wired ones right? Amazon says wired then the description says bluetooth
Is this Marshall just trading on their name or are these actually better than any other typical £40 Chinese headphone?
White one is out of stock but listed at £43.99. Very tempted at this price point!
I had a pair of these, they were great. Definitely recommended!
Sound quality isn't that good on these
Basically everything you don't want in a pair of headphones. Uncomfortable, feel the bass and leak sound... Maybe not then but they're stylish so (y)
Do these come with the marshall storage pouch too. Doesn't state it on the description but all reviews say they come with it. Many thanks great find
10% unidays as well
That's a great deal thanks
Great deal and voted hot, as the Major III Bluetooth headphones alone are £78.10 on Amazon (highfive)
I have a Woburn, it's awesome. These prices aren't great, I got my woburn as new on ebay for 200. Kind of ruins the free headphone deal The Stanmore multiroom with the topcashback is a nice deal
Ordered the Stockwell - I have a Bose SoundLink Mini 2, which is good, but I like the idea of being able to twiddle with the bass and treble on the Marshall. Nothing else to spend my money on during lockdown!
16% cashback via Topcashback:)
Cheers mate (y)
Good find OP, these are classic cans refined over time
Price changed OP
Good deal but I’m not gonna fold
I bought a pair of these in brown (love the retro look) from Curry's yesterday. They were the same price as amazon but I was offered extra 3 year Instant replacement cover for a tenner which I took. Have only had them on for a short while but really impressed so far.
Received mine today. I tested them for few hours and let me tell you, it’s a real deal. Punchy, clean and just the right amount of bass. Super impressed.
Zeos just reviewed these and loves'em
Lowest price according to 3 camels
Means it's not the latest bt5 and not the previous 4.2 or 4.1 . ie old tech but functional.
What does that mean?
Be aware that these are only Bluetooth 4.0
£98 u mean?
Argos same price too
Bought the following wireless headset for a fraction of that price and excellent quality. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F264499279779 Just saying.
After buying, check if they are fake, or not! So many complaints about this issue in Amazon reviews.
I got the Major III this time last year. Worst headphones I've ever owned. The battery life is good, but they don't seem to ever sync audio and video if you are watching something with them. I don't find them comfortable either. The only thing I did like is the old style curly cable that comes with them, if you want to use them as wired. Not worth the money as far as I'm concerned.
Tbh £50 is a really good deal for the major 2 in black. It has a better battery life than the 3 but I assume the 3 must need more power for the better sound I'm assuming it gives.
Yes mate you're correct, mine are 2. (y) Never noticed
Coming up £97.50 for me EDIT: the black are £79, but not the brown & black linked
You know what, they are pretty good. They are replacing some B&O ones that crackle on the cable after a few years of use, and these are comparable. 8)
Great deal! Thank you :)
Bang average. Nowhere near as good as their Minor ones.
Half the amazon price but mixed reviews on this edition. No stock anywhere near me but says available for home delivery for £4 extra.
