When I first got my PARIS spa I used to fill it with cold water, let it heat up over night and run for a month at a time (easy with clean filters and chemicals) my electric bill went up about 15 quid a week..... I soon discovered the best way to use this was fitting a HOT outside tap and filling from the combi boiler to 40degC using it for a weekend and then emptying it and refilling when needed - saved me ££££

dribspak

Fantastic deal. Now I just need someone to walk my staffie and wash my camouflage trackies from JD while I smoke a spliff and drink lambrini while the kids are at school

scottwhittlejunk

It is a lot but so worth it.. I use mine middle of may (weather depending) till Oct. £40 a month is using it roughly everyday and having the bubbles on for a good hour solid I think.. It all depends how often you use it..

MonkeyMan90

How do you know this guy doesn't have it on 24 hours per day. Don't just base it on him. I own one and use it twice per week roughly and my leccy has gone up by about £10

col11

Wow... That's a lot of leccy to run it! I've had finger on the buy button a few times for these but now I know ow that it's a definite No!

Wow thats not good. It looks like the travel ban will be upheld but not til June. If you need any help, on foregoing USA and circling round do let me know and I will see how I can help.

jinkssick

I saw some flights from Sofia bulgaria to Dubai for a ridiculous £60 return in the coming months of course excluding summer holidays children are off. Many airlines fly to Sri Lanka from UAE like Sharjah for like £120 approx. Kiwi is a good site that will allow you so search regions then book direct with airline.

canitrunbattlefield

sorry to bring this thread up again - how would you recommend flying from UK to Colombo, Sri Lanka? I'm just amazed how you found all those obscure routes at the impossibly low prices..

skirmisher08

I've booked this flight but stupidly did not realise that there are visa waiver restrictions on people who have visited one of 7 Muslim countries even if they have British passport. Had to apply for a visa but it could not be approved so now I'm in black hole of administrative processing. Don't think I'm going to be able to make this trip at all as this process can take up to 60 days so I need a miracle to get one in time. Certain airlines allow name changes (eg the flight from Honolulu to Sydney). Please PM me if you want me to transfer any flights to you. I know majority of them are non transferable.

samc

Amazing deal! I did three round the world trips last year like this and have already done one this year. Love these bargain prices, will definitely be booking this up! Me luvs a holidayy!

ha ha - CRAZY - you need to fly on 23rd and come back on 25th - and ensure your ESTA is up-to-date!!! As well as pack your clothes, find somewhere to stay, get some $ etc. etc. Then spend 8+ hours flying back and you have to get over the jet-lag

luvsadealdealdeal

A pervert will perv anyway? It's pretty clear you need to spot the cabin crew in uniform - could be a bloke, after all.

kamenitzabrit

Brilliant excuse for a few perverts to hassle a female and say they thought she might be cabin crew - ought to have put more thought into this promo really. Seriously though, it's great for people living within an hour of Waterloo and nothing to do...... just hang around all day and hope, but what about anyone in Bristol or Newcastle, not a chance of them getting a sniff. Yet another freebie for those living in the capital, but I suppose the population density makes it worthwhile.

You mean 4 degrees not -4 degrees. It is because of the risk of freezing, but in practice as long as it's running and heating it's not a problem. I have run these at -8 without issue. Even if the pump stopped, as long as still got some heat in the water in the tub, it is unlikely the pump will freeze because of heat conduction. If you left it out and it was stone cold, then you are going to have issues. The pumps can be stored outside disconnected as long as you tip any remaining water in that could freeze. Tough little things, these.

scottwhittlejunk

The pump cannot go below - 4 so be careful if you store it somewhere outside.. Mines packed away middle of Oct till April..

The_Guru

So you could basically buy 3 of these in a year by the time you pay your electric bill! Crazy. Ill stick to my bath tub! Lol ;)

beerbellybill999

I wouldn't. Yes a conservatory with tile or vinyl floor but not a spare room. There is too much moisture/ condensation. You also have to work on a ton of water. Also running costs are around £20 a week winter and £10 summer. I have used lay z spas for around 7 years, 8 months a year generally

mango888

Yes. it will no longer be a spare room

Askrulous

Thats a vast improvement on our wait time of about 2 hours, so somethings definitely changed. I just remember utter chaos, walking past a massive queue consisting of people from our ba flight and other flights, to find someone who could tell us where to go. We got directed to an area where you firstly completed a security check by yourself, then we had to go through a manned passport control. Good thing was getting a cab immediately as we were one of the first out. We got to our Miami beach hotel about 6 or 7pm, while others from our flight finally walked in about 10pm, which may have had something to do with security staff dropping like flies due to it being a particularly busy Saturday!

a2tmfk

Guaranteed inside cabin?? Makes it sound like its an upgrade.... from what lol

clairemoneysaver

We just came back from Miami yesterday after a cruise. I would agree that Miami airport has been a pain in the past but this time we went from plane landing on the runway to in our hotel room in downtown Miami in less than an hour. We used the automatic passport control gates at the airport and went straight through. We saw so many passengers from our BA flight not realising you can use the gates and going to line up at the immigration desks which take ages. We were really impressed especially after the normal 2/3 hour waits of the past. Regarding the Trans Atlantic cruises... We have done 2 of these and treat them the same as we do a resort based beach holiday. Lots of time to relax with a good book etc. Just remember that when doing a west to east crossing you will lose an hour on some of the days with the different time zones you cross. On both our cruises (also with Royal) they made the time change at noon so it didn't affect you too much.

Family and I recently went Heathrow - Miami (return) on their A380. Granted we were flying economy but I was so cramped and I'm average height and build. Cabin crew were we're OK but not that welcoming, food was horrid, and they only came round with small drinks 3 or 4 times on a 9hr flight. BA have come under a lot of flack of late and from my experience it's justified - they have cut the basic service to the bone. So, whilst a deal's a deal - beware of seat pitch etc before booking.

FamGuy

How terrible for you.

Snooki

I really don't care you hate me because of my nationality. I've never had a gun or wanted one. I was robbed by knifepoint in London and I still wouldn't want to carry a gun in response to that. All I can do living in this far superior non violent country is hope I don't actually get stabbed next time for £20 and a mobile phone.

FamGuy

Rather than disprove my point, you've in fact proven it to be completely correct. No amount of side stepping the issue can disprove how ridiculously unfit for the 21st Century America is. It's no wonder not only the world detest it's ridiculous regime, but also citizens it's armed and allowed to create mass shooting incidents.

Snooki

If you plan to use this BA deal to buy a gun in Miami, you need a license to buy a gun at these supposed corner gun shops. There is a 3 day waiting period as well so plan your travel dates accordingly. I'm not sure someone who enters the US on a tourist visa will pass the background checks that also have to be carried out before buying a gun. It is possible to get an Constitutional Amendment with a super majority vote in the House and Senate.

Loving our Lazy Spa, exceeding our expectations so far. Originally keep it on turning it down 10 degrees or so overnight but now turn it off as it holds it heat well and only needs turning on maybe 4 hours before use.

johnraggett

Yes, delivered Saturday, and not long out of it for the first time, very impressed. Jusy not sure best way to heat. I've heard leaving it on so maintaining heat, but at what heat? Or turn off and heat but that will take ages and use more leccy apparently. Then it's how often do I change the water. I've got all the gear, chemical wise, so hoping not often.

I have mentioned driving in my initial post and I know this won't suit everyone because it does involve some driving, but you can add more stops in as a halfway point if you wish. Those sound like great bargain flight prices, you were very lucky to get those. It sounds like you've done Orlando before and it would be great for you to share some tips if there are better ideas. A work colleague just returned from a similar itinerary to what I posted, flying into Miami as oppose to Orlando over Easter with her two kids as it was so much cheaper and drove straight to Orlando from Miami after landing! I've seen lots of posts on Tripadvisor and LP forums about flying into Miami and driving to Orlando and it seems to be very common with people looking for cheaper flight prices.

siadwel

Coming from the man who has NEVER posted a deal in nine years membership but goes to the trouble of having an avatar is really quite funny (_;) This is not a good deal by the way. Someone who suggests driving for four hours to then spend what's left of it going around Kennedy Space Centre before another two hour journey to their hotel clearly hasn't a clue about arranging a holiday itinerary, just Google day trip from Miami to KSC. Then there's that drive towards Miami after the parks. That's a five hour drive that is actually furtherthan Miami, but don't let facts get in the way. I've done Miami Orlando as such, only because I was fortunate enough to get £103 return flights through family ties and if I hadn't I would never have done it nor would I recommend it. And they have the cheek to be called travel expert.

Maybe it's just me but I cannot select London in the 'from' field. Might be because I'm on a mobile phone but it's odd.

jrandrews72

Can anyone comment on the seat size and legroom in economy on these flights? How does it compare with say BA? Virgin? I am tall and wide and don't fit easily into a small economy seat. Is it worth upgrading to Premium Economy?

peter1969uk

Nope, I wish I was. I've worked in many places around the world, such as Chad, Liberia, Nigeria, Congo, Iraq plus others. Because of this I've got to attend the, the consulate in London.

gtd65

NorCal is generally a pretty expensive part of the USA. I worked in the East Bay area for a couple of years and at the time, it was easily 50% more expensive than say Florida. I honestly think SF is over-rated. Had the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten, in Chinatown. I lived in Hong Kong for 6 years, so I'm very familiar with decent Chinese food! The West (or Left) coast is a very beautiful part of the country. Much more open minded, than many parts, to say the least :)

Tunner

Be advised, if you do not turn up for the first flight, the connection to Miami will likely be automatically cancelled. In effect what this means is that the combined airfare inc the internal flight might be cheaper than the fare just from Heathrow, but if you (in this case) fail to turn up at Edinburgh, the Heathrow-Miami sector will auto cancel and you will not be allowed to check in at Heathrow, or so I have been told.
