Superbowl trip!!!🏈🏈

papadoc

They are phasing the 747's out slowly, mainly used on the Orlando routes now I beleive. I think the problems on the Dreamliners with the engines may have slowed this down a bit.

philhib1964

In the series Bloodline on Netflix, which set in the keys it rains a lot, the question is whether this is a true reflection of the weather or is it used for dramatical effect?

groenleader

Where are Barbarella and the girls making people suffer now? (lol) Prolly filling in on other routers while the RR engines get replaced on new planes! *Just found them doing routes out of Manchester and Glasgow!

papadoc

Not anymore. they fly 789 Dreamliners to LA and Vegas now.

Sounds like great deal, hot hot hot. I bought tickets to New York through Travelup earlier in the year with 1 checked luggage as it was cheaper than direct with the airline (BA), I kept wondering what the catch was but there wasn't any, all went well so I can only say good things about travelup as much as straightforward purchase goes (not experienced having to deal with customer service).

It looks like this price does not include cabin or checked luggage. ;(

I agree . Perhaps it would be better if you play them directly in a row as 2 feels a lot harder as the lvls are IMO too big . Personally I couldn't get on with 2 and didn't play it through

mattturner756

Soundtrack is worth like £20, games too. Plstinumed the first which was a real task and need to go back to the second. Would say they're the John wick of games? Look average but once played are amazing

Mark_EvansA8j

I've only played the first. The soundtrack is killer...literally.

Donzy12

Excellent rock hard games, 1st one had an amazing soundtrack!! Loads up Spotify (lol) (lol)

PLEYOR

Mean while on Switch... No doubt this collection includes the Vita versions as well! Great games btw - very addictive.

Been tempted a few times but managed to avoid thus far..posted already though: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lay-z-spa-miami-3253360 Stock seems to be getting replenished here though obviously that might vary. It's about the cheapest you're going to get a hot tub at this moment in time.

afuahboom

You will need to be fast from what staff at B+M told me they has been a spate off thefts. They has been a gang of people targeting B+M for the hot tubs in the north west + Walking out with them and not paying so if you dont see stock on display ask staff has they my have them in the back.. They got mine from the back

Instead of chlorine tablets, you can use a small squirt of household bleach into the pool instead of chlorine... It's been documented in hottub forums. Although i believe that normally it's chlorine tablets and another chemical tablet to regulate acidity? I've tried adding a tiny drop (about the size of a small marble) of bleach into our water fountain (about 15 litres at a guess) and 12hours later all the algae was gone 8)

babylon

I just used to fill mine from my hot water tap, Much cheaper than electrically heating all that cold water.

Make sure you have the yellow vacanation form if doing this! Very important as Colombia does not allow you in the country via some of the countries mentioned in this trip

oldcrazy77

From experience, I found the use of full service (wash, dry and pressed) in South America pretty good - although it was a bit variable at higher altitudes (Andean Peru and Bolivia - usually came back a little bit damp) very inexpensive and pretty good. Drop-off in the morning, pick up the next morning in most cases. I remember in Vietnam, quite often the staff take the laundry from smaller hotels and I recall seeing a staff member washing clothes in a small river behind our residence, I wasn't 100% sure it wasn't my laundry! Personally, I would take a case or a backpack. As for the itinerary - I wouldn't want to fly from Rio to Santiago (with essentially only two days there) and then up to Lima with just a 2 1/2 day stop in Santiago sandwiched between 7 hours of flying. Heat added, but this is a bit of a random whistle-stop tour - I'd sack-off some of the travelling and just do 3 weeks in Peru, or Argentina (maybe Brazil, Ecuador or Bolivia - but any of the countries other than perhaps Venezuela at the moment - but that might be an experience for the adventurous). If you've got the time and can scrape a bit of money together then you'll be able to immerse yourself in some incredible cultural experiences and get out of the big cities - I'm afraid you won't get too far from them if you've just got a couple of days in each.

woldranger

I've spent over half of the last 21 years travelling - I'm continually seeing people rushing around, trying to cram everything in and tick all the boxes they think they should and they're exhausted. An awful lot of the time they say they wish they'd not taken on so much and if they try anything like it again, next time they will ask to spend more time in less places. I've spent 8 months in Central and 8 in the northern part of South America.

J400uk

Kinda tempted by this but agree hand luggage only could be a challenge! Good effort anyway by the OP on sharing :)

edgeone

I've done a lot of travelling and there is no way I would even contemplate that trip with hand luggage alone. Norwegian restriction is 10kg and 55 x 40 x 23, so not big at all. You will with either be buying clothes and dumping, or spending time in a laundry (or stinking!). Each to their own.

I feel silly for not posting this as a deal now but I've booked with VA for September. Came out at £465 including everything, seats, food, the lot. More than Norwegian by quite a bit but Norwegian are still using a 3rd party for a lot of flights due to the dreamliner still being sorted out. The airline in question got awful reviews and use a very old plane. However, was like £350!! If I wanted to fly in a dreamliner with Norwegian it came out about £50 less than VA BUT on days I didn't want. So I think for £50 I've got a new dreamliner with VA, on the days i wanted and their service is pretty damn good. Very happy with the final price. 10 days in sweaty september. Just trying to find a decent hotel at a decent price now!

samspud

And probably only most deadly due to poor building construction and forecasting like u say. I've survived a hurricane in florida and it's all over in a day or 2

peakbear

Hurricanes still around in October and November. The deadliest on record the great hurricane of 1780 was in the middle of October. I think your pretty safe from hurricanes in Florida, and they would be forecast a long time in advance.

I have a set rate on my meter, as I rent ... Probably being ripped off.... It's on 0.35 ppu

newbuyer17

Its worth considering whether you have a day/night meter. After 7pm I about a fifth of day rate. So if you want to use Friday night it is probably cheaper to heat up Thursday night and leave on all Friday than heat up Friday morning.

craiger082

I find to heat up from cold it uses a fair bit of electric.... But once at Ur set temp (36c for me) it only re heats when it drops below that. But what I been doing is, leaving it at say 26c-30c depending on the weather. Then I find it don't heat up so much at all...... Then on the day I'm gonna use it, few hours before, I set it at 36

brettytopbanana

Is it cheaper to leave it running or only turn it on when you need it? Might be a stupid question but I'm so tempted by these but the running costs concern me

Sorry yes it appears they have changed it, although I'm not sure on the dates. I bought mine mid 2018 from b & q and i believe it only allows the pump or heater at one time. It's also worth noting (I've been reading up on spas having looked at some premium ones recently) that a lot of these things are constrained by the wattage, so a 13w spa may say pump(s) and heat (and lights and music..!) but the reality is with limited power in you face a compromise somewhere. I don't know how that impacts the layZSpa and overall I'm super impressed with mine but im guessing it must scale back somewhere if you have everything on (which makes sense really).

kingfisherdave

This is wrong, any Lay-Z-Spa with the pump from 2017 onwards can heat & use AirJet at the same time. Its only those with HydroJets that cannot do both together. The Miami is AirJet so can do both.

Bedrocks

Ao your saying that your spa only took 5KWh to keep heated all day? My small home hot water cylinder set to immersion only and not drained during the day can use nearly that. Il give it a try, i have 100mm thermal panels for the base. Its already on 30mm insulating rubber matt.

dtokez

Ours is quite sheltered, was on a thick bit of kingspan and I have made a custom lid for it. It was running at about 80p per day on 35c last October when we packed it away. Might make a cover for it too when it comes back out and see how much further I can get it down.

dealfinderwanter

No. I have a meter on mine, and not been able to get it lower than 10 quid a week and thats in summer m, on 30 degrees where outside temp doesnt lower it much. But now ive got solar panels, i can heat when i need on the day from cold and doesnt cost anything
