One pun to rule them all, one pun to find them, One pun to bring them all and on this deal-site bind them.

It's £14.99 instore

I thoroughly enjoyed this game and i highly recommend it especially for this price, yes it is a bit repetitive as was the first game but it actually becomes highly addictive and even after i gained the Platinum trophy i still wanted to play more of it ,that for me is the sign of a great game. Will it be to everyone's taste maybe not,but if you enjoyed the first game or have a general interest in the LOTR series this will most certainly keep you entertained. Heat Added.

I'm sure people will be goblin it up at this price. Those Tolkien their time may miss out!

£7 delivery if under £40 so will need to spend more to get the game.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War (PC) - £14.99 @ CDKeys

Cheapest I've seen it. You can get the Silver Edition for £4 extra too.

Had this game since release... still not completed it. Played it for a week for about an hour a day, never been back since! Just got boring and repetitive even though they are good games

I’ll bite at 10

Daily deal. £12.34 with 5% off facebook code, £12.99 without

That is the best news I’ve heard concerning microtransactions in a long time. I have them so much

Yes, all the details are on the official website. They will completely remove all micro transactions and rebalance the game so you don’t have the grind you had before. The option before was a massive grind or pay to win.

Didn' like the first game but going to give this a try. It looks a little different from watching YouTube

The first one was Shadow if Mordor, this one is Shadow of Wardor

this the first one or 2nd if its the 2nd its fell quite a bit in price (y)

Barely. It's pretty soul destroying stuff. It's also clearly designed to force you into buying war chests to make the whole thing easier. I ended up using the Dark Legendary Set. That and poisoned grog barrels made it easier but still painfully dull and repetitive.

You have more patience than me. I stopped when I got to the 'Shadow Wars', doing 20 siege defences in a row (which personally was the weakest part of the game) was not something I was willing to do. When they release the July 17th patch, I'll have another look, but if it's just a few cutscenes inserted between the 20 siege defences, I'll just resign myself to not finishing the story.

Great game. Ordered from box last week, from the deal posted here. slightly more expensive but comes with some added dlc and free p&p. https://www.base.com/buy/product/middle-earth-shadow-of-war-including-forge-your-army-dlc-ps4/dgc-mesowps4.htm

Great game!, now with free 4k cutscenes improvement available through the PSN network

I got the platinum trophy last night. The grind was probably the worst I've experienced in a very long time ;( That aside, the game itself is good. It's also undergoing some big changes with the removal of the gold/market/micro-transactions system in July.

Middle Earth Shadow of War / Resident Evil 7 (Xbox One), £5 click and collect at Smyths
Found 11th JunFound 11th Jun
These games have dropped to £5 at Smyths. OOS stock for home delivery but there's a reasonable amount available for click and collect.

About 3 of Shadow of War and 8 Resi so not loads but they are obviously clearing out stock so not likely to have hundreds. My point was at least all you had to do to check your local stores was a few clicks online and you can reserve a copy, if they don't have any at least you haven't wasted much time, not like all these Asda deals etc where I have to go somewhere to find out if they even have the same deals and if I have got in before the a***holes how clear the shelves to resell.

Like I said many stores are out of stock or have low stock How many did your store have 100? 200? 3? Since I checked a few locations and they all had low stock, a couple of copies aren't enough

I live in Cardiff. Just got back from Stockton on Tees where I got a copy. Cost me 120 in fuel but got the game for a fiver and also a kiss from the Alderman as the town clerk looked on jealously. Totally worth it.

Smyths stock is hilarious

Ordered a copy of both, cheers 🔥

£16.85 is the price now.

Good game, but when you get to act 4, give it a rest until the 17th of July. They are doing a huge rework of the endgame, which in its current state is basically a massive grind, defending forts again & again. I think they removed the lootbox garbage in May, but the big update in July is the major change.

It’s £17.84 with me??

Been waiting for this to drop below £20 or for the patch that removes the micro-transactions BS. I reckon this price is as good as it’s going to get for a while
Get dealGet deal

Buying it after they release another game that doesn't have micro transactions in it would be exactly the right thing to do. They've already made as much as they were likely to make at this point. Removing the system (and taking 3 months to do it) is a token gesture at best.

They are only pretending to have seen the light with regard to loot boxes. It is impossible they have only just realised that loot boxes affect their gameplay in a negative way. They knew it was bad and put them in anyway. Now their sales of micro-transactions are declining, they reverse loot boxes and look good for it as well as getting a second wave of game sales - win-win. Still wanna get it tho (embarrassed)

Buying it after the developer's recent decision to remove microtransactions is exactly the right thing to do. The developers did a 180 on the loot crate focused marketplace and are completely removing it by July 17th. If you buy the game now or after the 17th, you make it clear that this was the right call for them to make and they see a sales increase as the consumers are now buying a consumer friendly product. Otherwise if they went to the effort of making those changes and still nobody cares, then they might as well just keep doing loot crates, right? That's my logic anyhow... its a great game in it's own right, it improves on SoM in every possible way, bigger and better.

Played all the way through this game and enjoyed it without spending a single penny on any crates

http://uk.ign.com/articles/2018/04/03/shadow-of-war-permanently-removes-microtransactions If you really want the game I'd say go for it. They have made at least some effort to show they understand this loot crate crap didn't belong in the game by removing them so I don't feel like buying the game at this point supports that particular business practice a whole lot. That said the first game's continued plummeting until we were seeing the GOTY edition for like £5 in offers so personally I'm holding out for now. After all the Music Magpie deals recently I'm probably set for games through to 2020 anyway. (embarrassed)

Shadow of War - Expansion Pass £15.99 @ PSN
Found 25th MayFound 25th May
If your looking for something to keep you indoors away from the sun PlayStation Store has reduced the Shadow of War expansion pass down to £15.99 .
Get dealGet deal

I bought the standard version of SOW from Music Magpie for £13 a few weeks ago and I'm enjoying it. Does this have enough content worth paying (essentially) more for. Is it any good?

Like I said and detailed, the only other thing it has over the story pass are the 2 extra Orc tribes.

Expansion pass and story pass are 2 different things . The story pass just has the 2 bits of dlc with trophies in where’s the season pass also has some other things The Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™ Expansion Pass includes: • Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion • Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion • The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion • The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion

That's odd... I picked up BOTH 'Blade of Galadrial' AND 'Desolation of Mordor' on PSN for £19.99 less than 2 weeks ago. Edit: It's the Story Expansion Pass that gets you both DLC expansions for £19.99. The only thing it hasn't got is the two extra Orc tribes that are available both separately, or as part of the expansion pass.

I think we've had our nice weather now. Just clouds, rain and thunder ahead 8)

Great price but a bit concerned by all the stories of people getting banned from Xbox Live after using CDKeys and the like.

Over 3 hours according to YouTube... 4K content takes up a fair amount of space, so that could have been a lot worse!!

25 gig download for cinematics!! Is there a lot of cut scenes then?

It's really not all that bad... I just kicked off the download and got a notification when it finished downloading. Had a nightmare with Gears and Forza Horizon 3, but they've ironed out most of the issues by now.

I'm playing silver edition on the PS4 Pro at the moment and it's a great game!. I'm currently halfway though at 50 hours of play and it has great replayability.

Bought this from MM when there was the 20% off sale (still around the £12 mark). I'm loving the game so far and can confirm that the lootbox store has been removed entirely. There was a 16gb update that took 50mins to download/install btw.

I think they removed loot boxes last weekend.

Showing sold now.

Excellent Game The plot will infuriate Tolkein fans and the game was heavily criticised for it's microtransactions But damn, the nemesis system is one of the best ideas in gaming in the last few years A lot of game for not a lot of money
