Why would anyone want the same car for 4 years?!?

why is this remotely hot? In the 4th year of the lease you would be liable for anything that went wrong with the car as it will be outside of manufacturers warranty. Am I missing something?

I read all of these posts/arguments and forgot what the deal was for.

We are looking for a 16 size bike for my son at the moment. You can get an 8.6 kg bike from decathlon for £70. Otherwise thinking of spending big on an islabike because they are the best and you can sell it when they have outgrown it for almost what you paid

Technical question.... These being battery, would it last without use for a while, my best mate just had a son today, could I buy this and let them have it without the intention of use for a year or two?! I have no kids, I dont understand these things hahaha

Stay away from 6v ride ons in general , they cant pull the skin of rice pudding . Take grass or a slight gradient and it will struggle

I got one of these for my sons 3rd birthday. When he unwrapped it ive never seen him so happy. Great looking car and well made. he had great fun scooting around the living room! It was a different story when we went to the park, cue the tantrum! It was way too slow outside and really underwhelming. My son has grown to love it and is still his favourite toy but im planning and swapping out the 6v battery with a 12v one as ive heard this is quite a popular upgrade to little 6v cars. There just too slow!

Does anyone know where I can buy spare parts for this?

Was it a 6v also. My son be 20months at Xmas maybe a 6v be better for him. Tho in saying that maybe a 12v with a remote I get a few years out of it.. Hmmm

This BMW mini was in fact engineered by British Engineers in the UK. By Land Rover engineers no less. They packed up the engineering just after it was complete and moved to Germany.

What's the engine size?

Too true - lost count the number of times I've seen these BMW's out and about driving with a colleague and said "typical BMW driver" and they go "what? It's a Mini" - so I have to explain the sad story that BMW suddenly decided it was trading as an asset stripper as as well as a car maker back when they sold Rover back to those idiots for £1.

On finance (PCP I'm guessing?) from a dealer... Not a hope in hell. You'd be lucky to get under 250. I was told the cars take at least 3-4 weeks and they must be registered by December.

Some posters on here are really suffering from an under-developed cerebrum. Why on Earth post an "offer" that is not only RRP but, of less value than what you get from the manufacturer's website? Anyone who posts on here has internet access and you don't exactly need a first degree honours in quantum physics to come across LEGO's website and check their current prices, offers and freebies. Cooling added.

This RRP and as others have said if you buy direct from Lego you get VIP points and a free Gingerbread House. Sorry this is cold from me.

I agree, this isn't the best deal out there. You could get the same item from the Lego Online store and get added perks not offered by John Lewis.

These are not cheap but this is the only ride on I would recommend, we have had one for 4 years and still going strong. Drives over anything, grass, hills anything. Link

Been hoping for a deal for a while... the £4 off isn't great but with the gingerbread house already at about £20 on eBay, there's a genuine demand for those - makes it a VERY good time to buy this set.

how do you put the gingerbread house in your cart. Put order over £60 but the house does not appear in the basket. I am a VIP member :-(

You could sell the "free" Gingerbread house for @ £20 -30 easy and get the mini for a bargain price but obviously for some the effort of doing a quick mental math is to much trouble when you have a hate button at hand. Good post for those who have the ability to see the attraction if you're buying LEGO direct.
