Was waiting for someone to whinge about my comment. I looked very soon after the deal posting, and the 2 decent deals had gone, which annoyed me... they must've had about 5 copies of each!!! Or some f'kin tramp went and bought 100 copies of BF1 to re-sell on ebay! (annoyed)

Didn’t like game confusing

I personally think other online retailers are greedy as hell. If Base can drop and almost always be the cheapest why others can't? Nowadays, Base is the only retailer that stands out for me when buying new games and Boomerang is the best place to buy second hand. The rest are incompetent, somehow.

ummm ok... :/

Also this price in Sainsburys at the minute.

I'm finally getting tired of the game after 145 hours. But that is a lot of game for the price. V happy I persevered and learned to play it despite the awful tutorials

Don't think there will be an ultimate edition,as everything is free, dlc is timed events and rotates around if you miss any.

Cool ok, thanks for the info

There's no dlc at the minute, so doubt it, doesn't look like there will be, there's plenty of costumes etc!! If you want it get it now so you can get free costumes with the events that go on

Instructions HERE Free VPN HERE - this works best for me

I have a Monzo, Revolut and Halifax Clarity card set up for various countries. I move them around as required but Argentina has most of the best prices. I moved The Clarity over to Turkey today as a card can only be linked to a single country at a time.

If you follow the VPN instructions on this site which are a bit faffy, yes it does. Buying Fortnite Vbucks for my son from Argentina is also way more sensibly priced.

Not done this in awhile does revolut still work

It's just under £21 from Xbox Turkey - and if you Gameshare it works out even better.

Yes seems like a good game i just got this and if it's not for me I'll do the same and flip on ebay

I bought the game for £30 on the PS4 and sold it for £27 having kept it for 3 weeks. I'm not the greatest of gamers but I had to try this game none the less. It feels every inch a triple A title. Fantastic graphics and presentation. As expected I had a huge problem with crafting and upgrading and also it got to a stage where I felt I couldn't defeat the monsters without at least another 2 friends online. Sadly my friends aren't into games like this but I'm glad I tried it and although it turned out to be not for me, I can see why others are getting a lot of game time and a lot of fun from it.

Haha it's been 8 years in the making so pretty sure she can put up with my gaming addiction/hobby. ^_^ Good luck with yours!

Haha no definitely laugh, I see no point spreading misery about it! Things happen eh. All the best wishes to your relationship and gaming career (highfive)

Definitely, sometimes 4U left me in such a stressed state that I'm kinda happy about the lower stress levels! I never played any of those ones, though from what I've heard the freedom games were pretty demanding. They've definitely tidied up a lot of the hit boxes from monster attacks thank god...

Hmm that's very interesting. Might actually take a look then. Thanks for that :) If you happen to come across an image that a fair representation of what it's like in game then do post here pls. I'm a little hesitant to Google "monster Hunter world spiders" at the fear that they'll most probably be zoomed in and thus not representative of normal playing view

Same - I played both and the spiders are smaller on this game than they are on Shadow of War / Mordor. You'd barely notice them unless you looked.

Hmm. I'm not keen on finding out what they look like tbh. Thanks for that tho. A recent game that I played that had small spiders I was okay with was Shadow of Mordor which had them crawling around sometimes. But they weren't so bad because they were mostly insect-like, small, and they were never a central focus, if you looked for them you'd see one otherwise not.

I did the story solo except for nergigante which I called in help for the first time I killed it yeah. If you're playing with friends and communicating I would imagine it would take less time so long as you're in a 4. 2 player monsters have the same increased health pools as 4 player so best going solo or getting 3 friends to play

Do you play it solo?

No. There are standards and benchmarks. £39 was considered a decent price for this game when it was a month old. Now that it's been 3 months, it's no longer a decent price, especially when there are other deals already on the site for considerably cheaper.

Surely any money off is a deal if it's something you want?

This probably is the cheapest, but that's not the point. £4 off the RRP on a game that's 3 months old isn't a good price or a "deal." EDIT: Cheapest is at thegamecollection for £35.

Where's cheapest then please?

I’m playing solo and did wonder if I’d get anywhere but read a bunch of beginners tutorials, upgraded and forged new armour and weapons, did more optional quests and research before storyline quests so more prepared now. Capturing or killing takes too long still tbh but that’s the game.

Hopefully Amazon will price match this :)

It's definitely hard to learn on your own for sure! I started with Monster Hunter 4 for the 3DS and honestly it took a very long time to learn the weapons, mechanics, crafting etc. It is quite an overwhelming game and needs a lot of time to practice before it gets good. Before you sell it I'd definitely recommend watching some youtube tutorials (Gaijinhunter and Arekkz Gaming make good videos) and you may pick up some tips to help you. If you still aren't quite enjoying it after that then it may be worth selling it, but I'd definitely suggest giving it a little bit more time just in case you start to get better at it! Also if you need any help just pop me a message, I play on the Xbox but I'll happily help you if you have any questions.

I paid £26 + £3 postage for a mint copy for the PS4 on ebay. Not really my sort of game but I thought I'd try it due to it being a triple A release and the game itself looked stunning. I'll play a bit more this week but it looks like I'll be selling it next weekend as I don't think my gaming skills and weapon crafting skills are good enough. I have 10 hours gameplay but I'm starting to struggle a bit because I really need to co-op these battles with one or two friends. I can really see the game excelling online but unfortunately my friends don't like monster type games.

Does it hunt monster in real life as well? 8)

How did you come to that conclusion?

People complaining about a optional minor microtransaction like this the same people buying lootboxes and 'credits' microtransactions in other games

I expect having to pay to edit your character from a f2p mobile game not a AAA title.

To be fair, a little thought put into the character maker at the beginning makes it a complete non-issue. You'd be paying for crap, if you bought this as it is a pretty slimy microtransaction, but it's easily avoidable and you get one restyling for free courtesy of this deal. Also, hair and fashion can be changed any time in the main game. I'm not sure why I'm defending this. Probably because I don't have much sympathy for people who actually pay money for these kind of things - the crazies who don't mind paying $15 for some of the awful costumes in Fortnite, for example.

Paying to change your character's appearance is disgusting and mobile-like

Got ye. Thanks again.

When my internet was not working , it asked me when I was playing the game , would I like to play it will work offline too , just that no one will be able to join your hunts

Thanks. I looked online, but it seemed like you needed to create private rooms and such like.
