Monster Hunter World (PS4) New @ The Game Collection for £23.95

I think this is the cheapest right now as has gone back up!

can't wait for deals like this for pc version

a very good game and i've sunk dozens of hours into it but it's fallen off my scope now i've done all the best event quests and can't be bothered farming endless tempered elders. the game is grindy but combat is so good and the challenge of a new monster is so rewarding you really don't mind, and the plot (while hardly a classic) ties progression together wether you play solo or multiplayer so it's a steal for under £20. roll on mhw2 more beasties and more variants

I have this game. Really good one tho

It's all garbage, I emailed them to tell them last time, they don't care. Found the RE7:Gold buy page whenn it went out of stock. Couldn't even find the DS3 buy page this time.

That is not true. You don't even need an account to checkout. Don't use the mobile site!

You need to rent it first to obtain that price...

Can't figure out how to create an account with them. I'm on the mobile site..

In order for me to part with my money I feel it needs to be priced under £20. I had the game on PS4 on my PS4 pro I found the 4k frame rates pretty awful Ultimately the game is great, but price wise it will drop more fairly soon.

Do you say it need to be under £20 due to the game, or just in order for you to buy it? Is there a reason why this isn't worth the normal cost of a new game? I ask because I'm interested, and this is half the normal price, but wondered if there's something I'm missing about the game that will leave me disappointed.

Agreed. Once the big boys arrive it’ll drop like a stone

Nice to see the price is starting to fall, still needs to be under £20, which should not be tooooo long as the heat will be moving towards all the new releases.

You do this by going through the checkout process.

My issue isn't with the checkout process, it's how to create an account without signing up to their rental service.

Standard edition @ £29.99 is far better value (£28.49 with FB code). The Origin Armour Set (DLC) was a decent freebie for pre-orders but not worth paying extra.

Monster Hunter World [PC/Steam] - £27.81 @ CDKeys

Good morning Monster Hunters! Here's a decent saving on this recently released game. Activates on Steam Apply discount code: MONSTER666

You will be looking at around 40-60fps with this set up, I'm on an old i5 2500k with a 1060 6gb and it's is definitely more than playable. There are a couple of good Vida on YouTube on how to max fps without hitting the real look of the game which made a big difference for me. I'm currently hitting my 90th hour of gameplay and loving it, it's a great game solo or with friends, I had never played a MH before but world has really got it's claws into me.

Yeah appears to be invalid now, I've expired the deal :(

Did they end monster666 code?

You'll be fine with a 1060, though 1440p might be out of bounds.

Got a 1060 6gb and and i5 (not sure how fast it is sorry)

Don't get why mods expired this...

Is there any chance you can sell the Pre-Purchase code on its own aka Origin set and the charm ?

They released a patch today that fixes some of the issues. It doesn't fix everything but atleast they are trying even if it took 14 days to come out with a patch.

It is better than FFXV Comrades. In Comrades I've only managed to multiplay with 3 people in total since it's release in March. But with MHW at least you can get in more often than not.

oh a price drop... coz your connection will drop as well. servers are unstable and will disconnect you when playing multi-player. when you finally manage to play multiplayer with a friend or 3, you will find out that you can't play together unless you have seen all the cut scenes on the quest which actually beats the purpose of enjoying the quests together.... you do it solo then after maybe you can do it as a team. Then the pc version isnt really a "pc version", its a console version made to work on a PC. UI are still based on controller use rather than mouse use. This game at this price is cold. Maybe £8 is a fair price for this game

When I posted this, it took moderaton 8 hours to bring it online, by this time, it was no longer the best deal. I asked HUKD to delete, but they refused, they said that the deal that currently beats this one (, is a promotional code, and when it expires, this deal could be the best deal again.

eh :/

the other deal includes a promotional code which will have an expiry date, this deal might become the best priced in the future.

Agree it could be better but there's some beautiful art direction and it frequently looks very nice. I'd love an option to get rid of depth of field and bloom though... I've resorted to 1440p, what hardware are you using for 2160p/ultra?

Wait until they fix the network code.

Super game. I got it for £36 on cdkeys. I'm running it at 4K ultra settings and it's very smooth. Sadly the graphics are poor by Witcher 3 and origins standards but the game makes up for that. It's outstanding.

I refuse to buy any game that has Denuvo (annoyed)

I'm a newcomer to the series and had mixed feelings for the first 5-8 hours. Gameplay mechanics are poorly explained, the default camera settings are horrendous and initially the UI feels inconsistent and convoluted. ...Then something clicked and I've spent a further thirty hours absolutely hooked!

What a weak reply. Let's leave out buying a brand new physical copy now shall we!

Then enjoy full price games on the store, or enjoy your pre owned hard copies filling up your drawers and having to change discs.

So technically everything on the PS Store is half price if you want to share.. Not everyone wants to go down that route though.

Use code Monster666 for a better discount

Its gone down to £34.99. Went via quidco for 2% cashback and stuck in a cheeky 5% discount code for liking thier fb page to pay a grand total of £33.24 via paypal. Cheapest i could find. Don't expect the cashback but there is always hope.

Not arguing about the quality of the port ... clearly not optimised, which isn't helped by Nvidia releasing drivers which take ~10% off of the performance than the previous drivers. However, your original comment telling people not to buy this and stick to a console unless you have a £3k rig is just not right ... my PC has cost ~£700 to build and I run around 55-60FPS (prob higher, but have vsync on so capped at 60), this is compared to the console version which is locked at 30FPS. I'd suggest that if you have a decent PC then the PC version offers the best experience, but as always do what you please :)

But the graphics in MHW are beyond terrible. Don't get me wrong I loved the game, for a time. But the graphics are just not good and if an older card can't crush those pixels then it just feels like a really crappy port.

I know :( obviously it helps to improve performance, but from what I read it isn't so prevalent on the Xbox one X or PS4 pro? Either way it went back!

It's the same on every console. That horrible blur you mentioned is actually a feature (I know right). The game itself is extremely clunky in almost all of it's aspects. For me the worst part is that terrible UI. That had my eyes actually bleeding.

If you've never played a Monster Hunter game before you might struggle at first. The game is extremely clunky and the UI is awful. The control scheme feels like it's riddled with input lag, quite similar to Dark souls only much worse. Weapon variety does change a lot, but the monsters that you 'hunt' are not the most challenging and soon become very repetitive. You can sink a good 50 hours into the game if you can deal with the awful controls, terrible UI and lack of any sort of dialogue. The main appeal of the game would be the multiplayer, it's not a game to play solo that's for sure. Can get VERY grind-y at end game.

Combat is certainly different, some says it feels clunky but its more about being precise with your movements and actions, almost like dark souls, there are animations for each move so once youve input a move you are usually committed. When you get good with a particular weapon the hits feel good i.e. if you land a charged great sword hit and cut a tail its very satisfying. So there is a learning curve but once you get over it youre fine. If you have friends that play even better, if not no biggie, theres plently of randoms that can help. Theres alot of content and theres more free dlc being added every few months. Happy to answer anything else you have in mind, I have over 200hrs and used most of the weapons.

i was thinking the same tbh, unsure if id like it so im waiting (cheeky)

Apparently this voucher expires at 10:00pm this evening (12:00 CEST). Could be wrong but I doubt we'll see a lower price until a few weeks after release.

don`t you also have to pay a conversion fee?

Only thing I can think of is it's incorrectly listing pounds instead of euros... I checked it again just now and it's listing the price quoted in the deal still, I purchased it yesterday and it did in fact cost around £30. Really bizarre.

Deluxe for an extra £4? I wish.
