I’ve had it all like steaks, mince beef, meatballs etc and wouldn’t recommend any of it. Your best bet is to go to your butchers and choose your meat yourself.

This!
Musclefood are a spamming bunch of scoundrels that sell their crap under a few other brand names and it's all the same rubbish.

The steak is like soggy tissues.
The chicken is like rubber
The mince is fatty.

Oh and they chuck in 1-2 quality bits that make up about 10% of the hamper.

Don't get sucked in.
Buy a mincer, mince it all together and make some giant patties. You are what you eat and if you wanna be a beefcake gotta do this!

I second that just buy proper meat that tastes nice and eat a balanced diet, it's just a brand which some people buy into.

Ordered once from Musclefood and never again! You could sole your shoes …Ordered once from Musclefood and never again! You could sole your shoes with the steaks they ended up in the bin! I'll stick to Costco for my meat!

Agree these used to be OK when westin gourmet but now poor, Costco have always done the best cuts that taste stunning.
Great if you're not fussed about welfare standards. The UK has the highest food standards in Europe, which increases costs because farms are limited to how many animals can be reared per square metre. Muscle Food sources most of their meat from Eastern Europe, Denmark, Brazil, Thailand etc where these standards do not apply and more animals can be reared per metre.

Don't fall for their clever marketing - e.g the video of 1 of their British suppliers, they don't show you is the 50 foreign ones! Note that the origin isn't specifically mentioned anywhere on their cheap meat for a reason. It is unethical, misleading and certainly shouldn't be legal.

At least then you can see what your buying, not have to pay £3.99 delivery as well as £25 min spend.

All well and good but the local butcher is more expensive than this. What if I like eating lots of meat and don’t want to spend 2X as much or more at the butchers?

I’ve ordered from these before and the meat was actually really decent compared with the usual supermarket fare, so I guess YMMV.

The problem is I don't like meat that much( (no innuendos please, that was a serious comment) so we don't have a lot of it,it really is a shame the minimum spend is £25.00
I've only had their 5kg chicken packs - got 15kg of chicken breasts, it lasted me like 4 months, they were delicious, it's hard to spend the money supermarkets charge for inferior quality now!

But 15kg of chicken takes up a lot of space in the freezer...
I bought the mince last time and it was very good. 7 packs were allowed and I added the sirloin steaks to make the money up.

I've only had a couple of orders but here's what I've tried and they're all excellent.
Wagyu steak burgers. Best ever.
Sirloin steaks. When on offer.
Steak mince.
Chicken thighs
Chicken breasts.
Beef brisket joints.

The hache steaks get good reviews, will be trying them next and maybe some of there exotic stuff.

I doubt you would be able to get a turkey that feeds 5-7 people for under £30 with all the trimmings. Unless you buy the meat from someone that doesn't take animal welfare seriously
