Tried using mine today... and guess what? A man in his late 20's/30's aligned my wheels for half price. Cost me £16 and now my car runs straight! No mention of tyres, brakes, suspension etc. etc. Better than £30 at Halfords, £45 at ATS or god knows what a dealer
Edited by: "99iainb" 13th Feb
Tried using this today at the Orpington branch. Hopeless. They refused to do my tracking because there were issues with my tyres which I was planning to get sorted elsewhere . Basically if you don't give them all your business they don't want any of your business.
Don't know why there are so many negative comments…. I used this voucher which has always been available on the website. I've used national a few times for wheel alignment which is key, for stability and tyre wear and tear. The price is cheaper than any other main tyre or car dealership….. In the very large incidents it is only the front tyres that need aligning…..
I had mine done recently at a local garage who charge £6 per wheel.
Good discount if 'National Tyres' is a local garage to you. Cheers

Easy bus transfer London to Stansted, Luton & Gatwick from £1.99 and operated by National Express (on National Express website same transfer is £10)
To be fair myself and my daughter used this service but operated by National Express in December.I was very hesitant as I'd nothing but bad reviews. But to their credit, on both legs, we were able to catch earlier buses as we were super early and hadno issues at all. You can catch the bus an hour either side of your scheduled time if there is room on the bus/coach. I just wanted to put another view out there as I hadn't read any positives

I believe it's different companies running it in different parts of the …I believe it's different companies running it in different parts of the UK. I tried the Manchester one, which actually consisted of me giving them money to leave me stranded at the airport. Cost me a fortune to get home and I've never even received an apology, let alone a refund.

Had the same thing in Paris, never again!
We booked easybus last year. They failed to mention to us (and the 20 other people waiting at Waterloo for a 5am bus) that it wasn't stopping there for 2 weeks (even though the ticket stated the stop). Taxi to the airport wasn't cheap. No contact possible except through post to request a refund. Awful.
Some London drop-offs are served by Airport Bus Express instead. Booked trips directly with National Express for £8 return the other day for Liverpool St- Stansted at the end of April, roughly same times are £14 return with EasyBus. Used to use EasyBus but went off them when it was a pain in the arse trying to find out where the buses left from when they changed from using the Stansted coach park.
Left us stranded, repwas no help, contact numbers were no use and emails weren’t responded to. We payed a lot more than £1.99 too. Once we were home and called to complain they were just as bad. Not worth the stress, not worth risking missed flights.

Iv lived in Yorkshire, near Leeds, for about five years and had never heard good things in particular about the area but knew there were jobs.

However, when getting here I was amazed at all it has to offer. Yep Leeds is busy but has every shop you could want. The outskirts however are lovely and easy to get to - the countryside, parks such as Temple Newsam and Roundhay, stately homes such as Lotherton Hall and Harewood House.

Don’t let the lack of overall enthusiasm put you off giving it a go

I drive from Teesside so I usually go travel A1 then I park for free not far from Newcastle Central train station. I then avoid the really busy traffic plus I know of people who have gone into bus lanes by mistake and had hefty fine. There was a lot moaning about it other year that Newcastle Council had gained loads of money in fines.

I prefer getting a Go North East bus to Newcastle from here however I wish they ran them later, last bus back about 8pm.

Gluten free foods contain more fat, salt and sugar than their gluten-containing equivalents, and are generally more than twice has expensive, a study has found.

Researchers at the University of Hertfordshire said it was clear that gluten free (GF) products offer no nutritional advantage to regular foods and are not a healthier alternative, which may surprise many consumers.

They also found that gluten free foods were 159% more expensive than their regular counterparts.

After comparing more than 1,700 food products from Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Ocado, they found that, with the exception of crackers, gluten free foods contained more fat, salt and sugar and also had lower fibre and protein content than their equivalents.

A GF diet is the only treatment option for those who suffer from coeliac disease but many more people in the UK and around the world avoid gluten foods as it is perceived to contribute towards a healthy lifestyle, leading to a huge increase in sales of GF foods in recent years.

But despite this increased interest, there have been limited studies in the nutritional composition of gluten free foods compared with their gluten-containing equivalents, the study authors said.

Researchers found the median total fat contents for GF brown and white bread were more than double those of regular products, while the median cost of GF brown and white bread and white and wholegrain flour was over four times the price of their equivalents.

LG's gone big on picture enhancement this year, with claimed improvements in noise reduction, depth enhancement and colour reproduction. Also new for 2018 is support for high frame rates up to 120fps (frames per second).LG has also added dynamic processing to HDR formats HDR 10 and HLG - both of these tend to use static metadata but LG claims HLG Pro and HDR 10 Pro will be able to enhance the picture quality of these two formats even further.

Just noticed something with one of the "included" attractions. Leicester …Just noticed something with one of the "included" attractions. Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre takes you to an online booking page where you redeem your Stay, Play, Explore voucher as you have to pre-book the activity. In the instructions it says you will have to pay the £9 balance upon arrival per person. The activity you are getting is only £10 anyway to just book normally. So the Stay, Play, Explore you have bought gives you a £1 discount!!!!! Talk about misleading. Shame as I thought they had added a few more options as it used to be 3 out of 5 possible attractions.Go Leicestershire! Stay Play Explore AdventureYour voucher entitles each person on your holiday to one of our single Adventure Club activities. You can all do the same activity or pick different things. However, you must all attend on the same day. Feel free to book more activities! If you are visiting during a school holiday or a weekend we usually have a variety of activities on offer. Your booking will be listed as paid, as you have booked using a voucher discount code so you will just need to pay the balance of £9 per person on arrival. You can also book our 3 hour multi activity afternoons, which run at the weekends. However, you will need to pay an additional £10 per person on arrival. When you arrive you will be expected to give us your printed ticket which we will then verify against your booking and the Go Leicestershire website, and request any balance is settled prior to your first activity.

Surely this means you have to pay extra if you book extra activities, in addition tothe free ones you get with your voucher?

Ok, fair enough - 2013 & 2014 = from £109; 2015=from £129; 2016 from £139; 2017 & 20 …Ok, fair enough - 2013 & 2014 = from £109; 2015=from £129; 2016 from £139; 2017 & 2018 from £149. However, you could easily beat this deal by staying in a Premier inn (currently from £31 for a family room plus £17.98 for 2 adult breakfasts (2 kids eat free) - and then make use of the regular voucher deals for most of the attractions you want to visit. (e.g. Conkers is regularly less than £20 for a family ticket on Wowcher; King Richard III centre is £21 for a family ticket) which leaves you another £50 to spend on any other attractions that you may wish to visit. (Personally, I would recommend that you use the money to go on a brilliant steam train ride at the Great Central Railway - family ticket=£40).

that's helpful, thanks. I guess it's just a case of the right offers being avialable at the right time and my kids would go on strike if i told them we were going somewhere that didn't have a swimming pool!
