Do you think they could or should offer reduced membership so for example £50 instead of £72 for over 26 years old. So that more people will join and with the current situation not as many places will be visitable in the year of your membership(?). It does represent good value though if you visit many places.
That doesn’t include car parking and we use that a lot for walks There’s are several 10% vouchers from Fri but none of them seem to work. If anyone finds any that do work, pls let me know
The New Zealand membership used to be cheaper not sure if that's still the case though, might be worth checking it out.
Top cashback, it’s a low % but better than nothing. I’d be very surprised if you find a discount code given that they’re massively down on their regular annual income, having given members a 3 month payment holiday and have been emailing people to say that they’re making redundancies at their sites. People can’t visit, so they’re not making money from the cafes, gift shops and parking.

As I see it; Those who have paid in full on an annual membership, have to wait until next year to receive 25% discount (same amount £30) off their membership. Absolutely no benefit. The National Trust may even decide to increase the cost next year! At least with a monthly direct debit, you don't have to wait a year to cancel! I appreciate that they are a charity, but frankly I expected better.
Ah, so does this mean I won’t be getting my £30-odd quid back from them anytime soon?
I wouldn't trust National Trust with my socks. Hopeless
I’ve just checked that part (I hadn’t looked before as it didn’t apply to me!)... It says they’ll give you a 25% discount when you renew next time. I’ve attached the link for more info https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/features/help-with-your-membership-payments-due-to-coronavirus?campid=email_central_CoronavirusEmail_22042020_CV19MU3b

National Trust Membership offers?
Hi everyone. Looking at getting a NT membership and had one about 5 years ago where we got 3 months free. Do they still do any offers or is it always full price now?

Scottish National Trust and English Car Parks
Can anyone tell me, if I bought a Scottish NT yearly pass, could I park in English car parks using the pass? I plan to visit the Lake District tomorrow, paying £3 to £4 at each lak… Read more
I think they changed it. Too many people buying other cards. eg NZ at £23 AIUI you still get the entry to places, but where there is paid parking you have to pay.
Thank you all :D Paul, thanks for the advice about phoning them (I couldn't find the info elsewhere). Yes, you can still use the Scottish NT card in English locations including car parks :D
...or just look at their website! http://www.nts.org.uk/What-we-do/Article/Explore-the-world-with-membership/ "A National Trust for Scotland membership opens up a whole world of heritage for members to explore. We have agreements with similar organisations around the globe which mean that Trust members can visit for free. We’ve listed their websites here, so you can start planning your trip. UK (England, Wales & Northern Ireland): the National Trust - www.nationaltrust.org.uk"
When I was a member years ago, you could and visa/versa. It was always cheaper to buy Scottish NT but still had all the benefits of the English so people would buy it instead but maybe they've changed since. Give them a ring to be sure.
Whats its say in the terms and conditions when you got the badge

what do I receive whilst waiting for my National Trust welcome pack?
Ive just joined and received instant email with a temporary card that lasts for 21 days to print out. Is that the only thing I should receive? Is there not like a print out to plac… Read more
Hi. No, I just printed the temporary card twice and left one on the dashboard. I spoke to them via online chat and that is what the lady said to do.
Thanks. Only received the temporary card. Is there an extra thing to print out for parking?
You get ones on email to print out while waiting. I put one on my dash and carried one with me never had any issues.
Thanks. Appreciate it.

Are there any current offers for membership to National Trust?
Any 12 months for the price of 9 etc.. I know about the trick about buying another country in association with NT but would like the english version. TIA.
thank you buddy, id love to buy the lifetime but a discount would make it much easier to manage
Rang my nearest place dunham massey today for offers inc 3 months free or discount and they said not been doing for last couple years, only special occasions. Still it is value for money though.
hi did you manage to find anything?
Thanks. I'm sure I've received leaflets before with this offer in for example tv guides.
you normally get the best offers from one of them pop up stands selling memberships , you will see them at some of the bigger national trust sites etc
