Did you have everything organised from start to finish in 5* format including to/from airport in an E class mercedes taxi? Were the hotels you stay in and restaurants you eat included in your travel? (Here you get 35 meals over 17 days on the NZ one). Unless you can create a and cost a complete comparison then your comment is void.

Been to Nz & Oz a few times and this seems like a lot of money to me.

Aaaaw fuck off & post some deals instead of chatting shit all the time!

Mount Maunganui is a lovely beach area on North Island

What does smashing your case have to do with Etihad? Airlines don't handle baggage. That is done by the airport authority, or by baggage handling firms contracted by the airports, just as in the UK. If you're a regular traveller, just do what I did. Just invest in baggage that can better withstand handlers!

Onetangi beach on Waikeke Island’s heavenly. I thought Emirates were good until I got sick of Dubai. Then I flew Etihad, who were far better until they smashed my poor case to death. Thai airways are my favourite, there’s always one nasty lil bitch on every plane, but not with Thai. Of course it could’ve been her day off.

I fly emirates I find them really good .

Dear Rachel, We have been planning to go to NZ for ages, but I was putting off the amount of organisation involved. I saw your post, we agreed on a date a week before yours, and I have just finished booking it - thank you so, so much!

Brill work OP. Love New Zealand. The driving is easy and the views are amazing. Very easy going nation and this itin is excellent. The locals are friendly, food and wine is not bad too. Go go go

Hot hot hot Rach! Love our NZ don’t we! I’ve stayed in Kiwi holiday park in Te Anau, Queenstown top 10 holiday park and Christchurch top 10 too! Can’t fault any of them! And I’m not a shared bathroom kinda gal (lipstick)

I like this deal however a friend of mine is considering buying an STA around the world ticket which include New Zealand and several other countries for less than a grand

I dont sleep* when I am travelling; and as I needed to be back in the airport around 5am, I didnt think it was worth booking a room; I wouldnt have been able to sleep, so why waste the money. *Really, it just doesnt happen; I think the only time I have managed was on an overnight flight with Emirates, after I had already been travelling for around 30-36 hours. Due to snow, I missed a KLM connection out to China a few years back; next available flight (Air France), was the following afternoon, nearly 20 hours later; got a free hotel room for the night; did I sleep? Not a wink. Arrived in Nanning, after 2 1/2 days travel and found AF had lost my luggage, and I only had the clothes I was wearing. You try finding clothes to fit a 2 metre tall bloke in a city where the average height is under 160cm. I am hunkered down as far as my knees would bend without being too obvious.

Having never observed what I've ate. Excellent conclusion you've come up. Better luck next time!

By observational evidence.

Loooooool! Is that so!? And how did you come up to that conclusion exactly?

I suspect your culinary tastes are limited.

NZ has amazing huge mussels that I’ve never seen in Europe. Tasty and meaty. If they’re frozen then they’ll most likely have come here on a ship over several months. Better than flying fresh vegetables from Africa.

Budgetair have had some stellar deals to the US for me lately. Couple of work trips cost me less than it cost them (the invoice says what they've paid for the ticket). Didn't make much sense to me but I'm not complaining :)

Lots of waterfalls I guess, just pot luck if you get to see them! Either way its still great ticket price.

That would be the Milford Sound that's surrounded by rain-forest would it? There's a clue there as to the prevailing weather conditions, whatever the time of year.

Some people complain about the strangest things when travelling, you see so many complaints about hostesses being unfriendly, I don't care about that personally, I'm buying a flight not an escort.

It's visa free for 144 not 72 hours for having a layover in Beijing:

I bought it 2 weeks ago on Sat 17th March

Oh it wasnt in that shaped bottle but a green burgundy shaped bott.

I bought 2 botts and chilled one down straight away. When I tasted it I went back down to Lids in ARBROATH in Scotland and bought another 12 botts. Its very nice with a slight peach or melon flavour to start but then gooseberry or grapefruit kicks in. Fantastic wine and for the price of £2.99 its a steal.

I'm guessing this must have all gone by now so I'm expiring the deal but if anyone finds there's still more out there please let us know. Enjoy! :D

Agreed. Not the best ever but at least as good, if not better than what M&S pushes.

I hope you "shatwell" at both (y)

I have been to both, but one was just for a few hours. Guess what? They're both Spanish speaking countries. Lonely Planet didn't mention this (because they're S), but all the other travel guides did XD

Ooo we have a travel elitest here! I bet he's been to Mexico and Spain!

I am. I've flown them a number of times. Air China is better by a country mile.

Koryo haha be real

China Eastern, China Southern, Koryo, Jet Airways, Aeroflot (because of Moscow Sheremetyevo and how awful they are are anything resembling comfortable transit experience), Ryanair, Easyjet. Even BA on some of their older aircraft are worse than Air China for comfort.

Reservation now includes 2 checked in bags per person. When I booked last year it was only 1. May email them to clarify.

It was 9am..... Was able to get 3 adults and 2 children for £740.....extremely happy..

Bots got them. I was refreshing at 9am, logged in and had one in my basket. Page refreshed telling me it had sold out before I could even enter my email address. Possibly just humans being quicker but I doubt it. I don't know why they don't give you a few minutes to complete checkout once it's in your basket.

Got to payment and then tickets were no longer available.... Don't think I want to go to NZ in May though. For £400 though wondering if its worth going for a week and a half

I can't imagine anyone sharing anything with you after those two posts How about a "please" or "I'd really appreciate it if someone.."

People won't do that, they will get bitter because they feel they deserve it and therefore won't spend 99p on a £30 game.

Check eBay, I saw a few accounts floating around there starting at 99p.
