Stainless Steel Grater and Container £1.95 Instore at Sainsbury's
88°Expired
Found 2nd May 2013Found 2nd May 2013
Found this Stainless Steel Grater and container instore in Sainsbury's Longwater at £1.95 reduced from £6.50. Not available online.

I prefer this sort which I got for about £2 in IKEA years ago.

amazon.co.uk/Che…ter

Amazon RRP is a joke.
Fortunately the IKEA one was in a neutral colour !!
It also has a lid so that any excess cheese can be stored in fridge without making another container dirty.
I have also seen them in Homebase for about £4.

Looks like a darlek

Got this its huge! But sturdy, hasnt rusted and easy to clean.

£6.50 seems a little steep for a supermarket grater, TBH. I'd consider this to be more reasonable though, depending upon its quality.

Bumping this for all new Nook owners....still available instore. I picked up a black Trendz cover from Longwater Sainsbury's last night - they still had stock.

Thanks, OP! Got one today for £3.99 from Castle Court, Bristol. Perfect for my new Nook Simple Touch (well, almost - the back doesn't have a cut-out for the power button, but there's very little need to use it anyway).

Bought one today, ideal for the odd diy job around the house

I used one of these that I have had for a couple of years to drill through 3mm galvanised steel and 6mm perspex yesterday when helping my Dad fix his greenhouse. Will do plenty of basic DIY tasks no problem. 24 torque means it has 24 settings, I think 6 settings would be more than enough, it's more f a gimmick I guess.

EDIT, there was 1 left in ASDA Doncaster Dome Branch this morning, I was tempted but don't need 3.

Stella Artois Cidre Pear 6x568ml £6 Instore at Tesco

Found 25th Apr 2013Found 25th Apr 2013
Saw these in store at Tesco in Norwich, 6x568ml bottles for £6. Also had 6 bottles of Stella Artois Cidre for £6 too. Showing as £9 online.

Well I've missed other two posts so heat from me thank you.

Posted twice before

The Flemish don't drink cider or perry. They do make a lot then ship it over to blighty as Jacques - horrible fruit flavoured syrupy alcopop. We did find some 2.8% concoction purporting to be cider in Wallonia near the french border once.

It's not actually possible to ferment apple juice and get something that weak, so well watered. A bit like Stella Artois of all kinds...

Just to point out that if you're buying in store it's worth checking if they have packs of 8 x 568ml bottles. I was in a Tesco Superstore today and they had both the packs of 8 and packs of 6 bottles of Stella Apple Cidre for £6.

What's the Flemish for "Perry" ?

Why are there a few people on here that try to educate people with stupid facts. I don't care if a vacuum is made steel, plastic or wood, and very sturdy without creaking is all that I care about, my Meile works a lot better than the rubbish Dyson make.
Why is it also someone has to say it's not a Hoover...We all know Hoover is a brand and we all know they also own Candy. Their base is in Merthyr Tydvil and their Built In division is near Liverpool and they are now Italian. We know they nearly went bust for a flights promotion. We know they make everything abroad now. So I would suggest we just use Hoover as a generic term that everyone knows.
This way some idiot doesn't have to keep saying the same thing every time a vacuum is on a deal....

The only thing with reviews is that people tend (or sometimes are only … The only thing with reviews is that people tend (or sometimes are only allowed) to review a product via a link received not long after purchasing the product. So the review generally doesn't include any kind of real longevity. No one would argue that Dyson products pick up really well, but this model is a battery type. These have a very short battery life of only a few minutes, which rapidly decreases with each charge. If that's all you need that's ok for you, but for me it's not good enough.

Oh, I agree with regard to battery operated, high(ish) power consumption units, like this, that suck the life out of a battery but it would seem that there are quite a few people on here who will always vote XXXX as cold because they can buy a similar XXXX for half the price and Dyson is a good example of this tendency.

It matters not a jot to them that the more expensive item comes with a much longer warranty or that it's more capable or does the job better or that the cost of ownership is less - seems to be just a case of "it ain't cheap and so it ain't worth the dosh".

p.s. we've had our Dyson for 4 years and it's been worth every penny of the £240 that we paid for it. Would I buy another one - yes. Did I look at lots of others before buying the Dyson - yes. Did I find anything that I felt was all-round better value for money - no, and that's still my opinion

I got a referb dc44 from Dyson eBay outlet last week for £170 but this is still a great price.

This is the best cordless I have ever used and even, far better than my upright vax.

Got these from Tesco for £60 a couple of years ago. Had problems with the poor call quality combined with interference when next to the likes of my router (downstairs) or a wireless video sender (bedroom). The last straw for me was after a few months when they stopped charging properly (even with expensive rechargeable batteries in them). The phone would ring, you would go over pick up the phone & the phone went dead. The only way around it is to get an external battery charger, charge up the batteries, then swap them over to the phone.

Good price but poor phones.

I need a new phone, and was attracted at the price. BUT check out those awful reviews on Amazon and just 1.5 / 5 !. I think ill give these a miss.
