Lego all terrain vehicle £75 @ Tesco - Beeston, Nottingham
Refreshed 13th AugRefreshed 13th AugLocalLocal
£79.99 in Argos and John Lewis. RRP £139

There were half a dozen of these in Osterley 24 hours ago if anyone's interested. They're not upstairs with the toys, they're actually downstairs to the left of the escalator as you walk in.

1.99 off? I guess that's 4 cans of skol

Heat added Tom, it's a great deal, was posted last week for £80 and got some heat so I have no idea why all these jokers and moaners are voting cold. Oh and welcome to HUKD! Sorry about your chilly welcoming party. :P

No pleasing some folk (lol) (lol) . There were 4 by the way and it appears they are setting them out similar to Aldi . In large baskets in middle of aisle near entrance . “When it’s gone it’s gone”.

Who cares about rrp if it is only £5 more elsewhere. Also this might be just another wild goose chase like other Tesco deals. Cold

Amazingly, I managed to pick the last one of these up in Nottingham last night. The box was open but everything was there. Thanks OP!

There were 8 left yesterday, clearly been very popular

Sorry yes. They were at 44. Very few shops seem to have any at all. Wonder if the 22 deal is specific to just one or a few shops? Think they are already reduced at £44.

Blackburn told me they weren’t reduced!

including the legendary Rock City (y)

What's with the Nottingham hating? Where are you from that's so much better mate? Here's a few things I think might be worth redeeming from your bumhole cleanse. Theatre - Dame Judy Dench and Ian McKellen started out as pups here. The Playhouse and Theatre Royal still put on interesting stuff most weeks. Literature - Byron, Lawrence and Silliote. Plus we're one of only 20-odd UNESCO cities of literature worldwide. We have loads of good writers here. Cricket - Trent Bridge. Nuff said. Art - Nottingham Contemporary is one of the best new galleries in the UK. Live music - We have about 50 decent venues, including the legendary Rock City. I could go on if I knew what you were into. Admittedly Nottingham Castle isn't quite up to the standards of Edinburgh's. And if you've visited here from the train station then I can see why you might get a bad impression as that part of town is under development.

Do you happen to have one logical reason for all that nonsense? :/

Nottingham is a beautiful city but the "castle" is a trade description nightmare. I don't get the hate for Nottingham or it's people. It is the origin for Boots and and Raleigh bikes. It is the home of the world's oldest professional football club who also gave Juventus their home colours. It's lace industry is known throughout the world and was used to wrap the royal baby up safely. It gave birth to Torvill and Dean and has the best ice arena in the country. It has world class white water canoeing facilities which are used as a base for British olympians. Robin Hood, Nottingham Forest, Stuart Broad, John Hurt, Rebecca Adlington....Nottinghamshire and Proud. Plus lets not forget Shane Meadows who lived in Nottingham and based many of his movies around his own personal experiences including This is England.

Malta August Bank Holiday Break 4 Sharing £229pp Malta from Nottingham @ Expedia

If you're after sun, Malta is great for a quick break during the summer. Anything more head somewhere else I i'd say. After my trip last month I cannot recommend it. Full of oldies and too many all inclusive hotels.

Should be able to get a week for that sort of price in Malta, though not necessarily during school holidays. Not many sandy beaches, mostly rock beaches. Mellieha up north has a great sandy beach. Cheap buses (a bus pass is good value if you use it enough) means no need for a hire car as the traffic wardens are very keen! Watch the bus drivers don't do you out of your change! My parents are Maltese and I've been lots of times. Interesting history. Great crusty bread, & beer - world prize winners for both.

Brief : Bank holiday piss up Beach , no walking to it Not full of ends of a bell Cheap for a bank holiday I see it as brief fulfilled

Nice place Malta, though I really wasn't too impressed with the food. Some of their pasties are quite nice. The public transport makes it a really great place to explore and Gozo is well worth a visit. I would definitely go back and some of their beaches really are lovely.

Just 3 nights...not sure if that's good value. I know it's school holidays, still..

I put down some grass seed to cover quite a large area in the garden last year. However, when the grass grew, the blades of grass were completely different to the grass on the rest of the garden. The new blades are quite wide and did not blend in. Can somebody recommend a fine blade type of grass seed please that will blend in better with the rest of my grass (the lawn was already laid when I moved in to my current house around 20 years ago)? Thank you.

Patch repair is not a great buy as its only about 20% seed . Its the seed that grows not the coir or other filler they put in the bag. Just buy grass seed and a cheap £1 bag of compost and mix it , you will get far more for your money.

Hi think this is the 1 u got and the link

Leyland paint 15 litres - £10 instore @ Collins Cash & Carry (Nottingham)
LocalLocalFound 8th MarFound 8th Mar
Saw this at Collins cash and carry in Nottingham. ...don't forget to add Vat on top of price....used Leyland paint before and pretty impressed with it....seems like a decent price.

In there today and plenty of stock. Magnolia only £12 for 15 litres

Sorry its 10l should of checked size my bad

i can only see the 10 litre contract paint on screwfix for 13.59,even so that is a good price as its normally 20 everywhere else. might go for the standard 10 litre leyland from b&q as that is only £12 and very good paint (y)

Is that the 15 or 10 litre tubs mate?

"don't forget to add Vat on top of price" so its £12 then
