Shame they put the prices up just before like currys and Argos do nowadays
you could and with a bit of luck the helmet you chose to spend sod all on will give your head the protection it warrants.
Obviously not a cyclist then...
l could go down to decathlon and buy my self white bike helmet and marker pen, and draw a big "O" on the side for the less than this.
VARIOUS COLOURS BACK IN STOCK ;)
Cute. Did somebody get a thesaurus for Christmas?
This shouldn’t be expired! Matte tortoise has just appeared at the £56 price and in my opinion are the coolest design of the lot!
45 45 45 lol your younger than me hopefully you look half as good as me here’s my pic ;) (worldcup)
Just nabbed Black with Red Lenses - its worth to refresh page few times ( or try later ) ,as it seems like they are coming back to stock .
I’d rather them being sued and held accountable for making competition impossible
Doesn't change the fact that if we want a certain style/colour/brand we have to play the game and buy from them. Going to source and getting for £8 from the factory would always make me nervous with sunglasses because you're trying to save £50 and risking your sight if you get a knock off which doesn't filter any UV light.
One company owns every sunglasses company and store... why they’re so expensive, really these cost them 8 quid to make, if that.
Yeah I looked at that site and saw some nice prices, was a little reticent about buying from them though as they sound like a café!
The polarized ones are too expensive :( I got some from this site polarized mirror holbrooks for £83 but it was the ruby lense and wasnt dark enough for me https://www.blueberrybrands.co.uk/sunglasses/shop-by-brand/oakley.html?dir=asc&order=price
Is this in retail park ??
green is kinda rank, maybe for cycling or cicket?
I got a pair of Gucci reading glasses from there a week ago it's tk maxx....
Picked up a set of the Mark Cavendish Prizm Jawbreakers and they seem ok. Won't get chance to use them for a couple of weeks, but they certainly look pretty cool. Thanks OP!
Anyone able to comment on prism road lenses vs the polarized lenses and their pros and cons and difference? Thanks if so got to make up my mind by tonight otherwise it likely cost me more as options have increased in price. (fierce)
These are still very expensive for what they are. Needing a prescription I've always gone for UVEX safety or sports glasses. They're a German manufacturer that focussed on industrial quality safety eyewear. They are a bit more of a basic design but I think they look more stylish for it. These are a bit over the top for my personal taste.
Yeah, Oakley PRIZM rocks. I love PRIZM trail having tried it a few times - will get some active Oakleys (Mainlink and Crosslink) in PRIZM trail and road. Currently use some PRIZM saphire turbines - another active pair. Even in fairly low light they still work fine - despite blocking a fair amount of light - as they really enhance contrast. PRIZM road has a much higher transmission and even more contrast, and PRIZM yet more still. So you could comfortably use PRIZM trail when cloudy and at dawn and dusk I'd say. And PRIZM road likely not far off. If I get a prescription pair one day (you're looking at around £300 so that's why I haven't yet!), I'll likely get insurance for them. I don't think it'd be expensive and perhaps would not cost anything extra to add these to your insurance. That takes some of the fear away. But yeah, if you get Oakleys you tend to baby them. For cycling specific I'd probably get the EV Zero over these. So lightweight and no frame. If you want something more like these - so more robust than the EV Zero and able to change lenses, Radarlock or Radar EV are better too I think.
I had the Decathlon 900's for last year's cycling and they're great for the money. But this year I got the Jawbreakers with a set of photochromic lenses. All I can say is wow! The optic quality and contrast is so much better. Plus you see virtually no frame in your peripheral vision. Yes they are a lot of money, but if you do a lot of cycling and you can afford it, the Jawbreakers are excellent!
No cancellation here, just had email confirming dispatch. When I ordered yesterday they had about 70 in stock, now 36 in stock
Great cycling glasses. Come with a red-light filter that magically turns all traffic lights green! Kidding (lol)
Got them last time they were on offer(60 ish I think) use them cycling to work every day so not as crazy expensive based on usage(I tell myself) very good for glare in the summer - sure cheaper glasses do a similar job but I like them. Good price for right now if you want some.
Reply of the week, right there... (highfive) (hope he's going to be all fine though, obviously)

Is this similar https://winstanleysbikes.co.uk/oakley-flak-2-0-xl-prizm-road-sunglasses?gclid=CjwKCAiAlfnUBRBQEiwAWpPA6dvwMo07y0gq2jX8gBPLOHig1KRhMSlBb4fTt1PSCxHxTm56gUNhnxoCHCAQAvD_BwE
I'm only messing, no you're right.
I’ve often done the same, although usually with clear ones as I find the tinted safety glasses do nothing to reduce glare. Also the bridge is often offset, which lets air in at speed.
There’s always a first, maybe they can improve their aim. Also kind of missing the point but never mind.
The fact that you can buy sunglasses for a few quid that might be safe is missing the point - Oakley's business is largely in optical performance for specific (sports) purposes like cycling/skiing/golf under different light conditions. You can ride in £4 glasses from Mountain Warehouse or anywhere else, but they honestly won't do anything like the job that an Oakley Prizm Road lens does. It's a sports-specific lens and £84 is a good price for it.
Glad you like them. Not got mine yet. Delayed due to weather.
Cheers OP, received mine today and they look much better than I thought how the photos portrayed them.
Thanks man i needed some good sunglasses for this morning sun shine on the roads
Nice to look at hope will order
What I meant was, even though Wiggle advertised them as polarised and the box said Prizm, they weren’t polarised so test them if you buy them. I returned mine and bought from elsewhere, which definitely were polarised, so I don’t know if Wiggle were supplied with fakes?
I know , what’s next the Colin mccrash focus edition
Another black cycling top - some people seem to enjoy courting danger from half-blind motorists!
Now completely out of stock!
Why would you name a jacket after a potential cycling injury? Heat for the deal though!
That's you lot buying them. There has been most sizes in stock all day.
Anyone point me in the direction of a decent pair with Prizm glasses (decently priced) - really after a pair for Driving and everyday usage (not any particular sport)
Buying a Chinese no name brand off eBay vs a very good brand made in China is completely different. See my earlier post. These likely are made in China. But customer service is great, PRIZM lenses are unrivalled at least for the price, and there's a massive quality difference. People seem to forget about design and customer service, and that even the same factory or manufacturer can produce varying grades of goods for different brands. I got some PRIZM Oakley's thanks to a post on this site and they're fantastic and much better than the cheaper sunglasses I got before (with not much price difference really - £20 or £30 from TK Maxx vs £45 or £55 from sunglasses shop) Normally if you get something nice you take better care of it. I'm certainly far more careful with my Oakleys than my old sunglasses. I worry about them sometimes, but I don't mind. It's nice to have something you value.
I am sure I'm not the only one that is abit careless with sunglasses, a watch is different as it is securely attached to your arm. These are probs made in China, and most of the ebay cheapies are UV400 or whatever other standard, and I believe them as it's not hard to do and they make branded glasses anyway. I have had £80 raybans, but they are no better than Chinese copies. Had some Official Mercedes ones that were only £20 on offer, they had a nice lens, but I am sure with abit of searching and afew different purchases I could find Chinese ones just as good. 20 years ago maybe Chinese stuff was rubbish, but now they make smartphones and tyres that are just as good or nearly as good as the big established brands. And its all a fraction of the price due to cheap labour (which is harsh and wrong, but everyone is involved in it, primark to apple) and massive economies of scale.
In your opinion? You mean that's what you'd likely do. Other people are probably more careful and this doesn't apply, making your point moot. Bit bizarre to suggest other people are as careless as you so shouldn't get nice stuff. The same would apply to watches, clothes etc. Getting cheap chinese shades off eBay sounds like a bad idea if you care about your eyes and eyesight. I'd at least get some CE marked sunglasses form a respectable retailer. E.g. from Boots for £10
Ok great, I bought a different pair with prizm lenses.
I ordered some and the order was confirmed. Juat had another email (and confirmation from PayPal) that they’ve refunded me cos they ran out of stock...
Back up to £90 now :-(
For £50 delivered, you can't complain...hence I grabbed a pair! However it isn't clear what colorway you're getting; description says Matte black, but they clearly have a transparent glossy look. My best guess is model no. OO9102-24;
Fab deal. Thanks
Keep the Oakley deals coming, love them!
out of stock... (annoyed)
Thanks for sharing @crowboy - hope you don't mind, I've added a code in that takes 25% off rather than the 20%, bringing them down to £44.25 :)
I've had a couple of pairs of Raybans from this retailer and they are fantastic value for money. If you know someone who has bought from them before, you can get £15 discount for them referring you as well. Fast delivery too.
"Applies to orders of £100 or more"
In fairness I think I wear sunglasses more in winter. The sun is low and driving can be a pain without sun glasses on bright clear mornings
Cheers. Got some raybans I was looking at getting last summer in the states for about £140 for £90 :)
Just tried it. I could only add one promo code.
There is 25£ off on an order of 100 or more when you signup to their newsletter - not sure if the 2 codes would stack or not.
Anyone know where to get Oliver people's frames for (relatively) cheap?
You are welcome.
I had a dispatch email today. Thanks OP!!!
Thanks. That was quick!
Out of stock
A quick google search indicates these are women’s?!
Expired 27th unfortunately :(. Wish I'd got some.
How long is this on sale? I need to go in store to check out the sizing of these goggles
For some reason if you google the model of the goggles that you are interested in they show up even cheaper in search results (no code allowed though, but could use quidco). Just a heads up
Thanks for this OP, works on already discounted products as well. Got this years model of Dragon NFX2s for £80
Wiggle cancelled my order, I'm expecting to be told it's either a pricing error or stock error. Currently out of stock. Would have been a great deal had they fulfilled the order
I would agree, I have a couple of pairs of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0024R0U3O while I can't confirm a 60mph impact (and thier "saftey" status I cant see validated) they have certainly protected me on the commute run, snow boarding, light down hill and weed whacking and for less than a it would cost to get a pack of tear off lens protectors. I just have another pair of glasses for "best" 8)
Looks dodgy as ... doubt they are real at this price.
Bolle are actually really good - use them as my clear winter pair - don't mind the mud messing them up at all! Also, far better at not steaming up on climbs than the latest dhb ones I got.
Are these any good? https://www.kosunbuy.com/p-624.html
