Back in stock (bought and returned or more stock?)

Fraser heart, Trafford centre. I went back a few weeks ago, and you can’t get a good deal there anymore. The Omega franchise and breitling have too much of a hold over what can be sold in the centre now.

Where from if you don't mind me asking

That depends on how much you buy one for. I paid £2800 for mine early last year.

Thanks bought 0 🪂🪂 nice looking ddo

I have the same dilemma (lol)

Talk about nitpick, just America happens to be its biggest market with something like half of all GS watches getting outed there (annoyed) as you said yourself it's about the pennies which is why the States get all their exclusive time pieces, like the cherry blossom dial and God knows what else.

I quote.. Called Grand Seiko Corp. of America (GSA), it is the first independent Grand Seiko company in the world. It will market Grand Seiko through its existing network of retail partners, through the Grand Seiko boutique in Beverly Hills and through the Seiko boutiques in New York and Miami. You not reading your own sources..? Outside of America, Grande Seiko and Seiko are the same company.

Indeed it was 2017 so yes the other year and if you can't see that the bog standard Seiko brand is not compatible with the luxury Grand Seiko brand then you're just a fundamentalist budget brand bod only in to your Casio's and the like :| oh hang on.....

The other year??! Grande Seiko has been round since the 60s. As for why they did that I can only imagine to make more money as they are a business after all.

Thing with Apple Watch (or any other smart watch) is they become obsolete after a few years. I find Japanese watches like Automatic Seiko and Solar Casio’s go on for years without needing any service or battery change.

Don't blame you. I could have got the wife and kids an apple watch each and had money to spare if I had purchased a smart watch instead for myself....have decided that next time, that's the route I am going.

See that’s what puts me off about automatic Chronograph watches. They cost a lot to service. I’ve decided to get quartz chronograph for that reason

I'm moving in across the road next week. I wouldn't mind an Omega watch to welcome me into the neighborhood.

Yeah, the only 'symptom' was that it had got slower and slower and was losing over a minute a day. Apparently the oil gets too thick as it ages and slows it down. They take the whole thing apart, clean and oil it and put it back together, with new parts as necessary. It was away for 6 weeks. Still keeping excellent time 3 years later (was slightly fast when first returned to me) but I don't think I'll follow their advice of a £500+ service every 3 years! (shock) . The watch only cost £1100 new back in 2002. I do still love it though. It's a special edition Michael Scumacher World Champion Speedmaster Racing with carbon fibre face and it's a sensible size, unlike some later ones. When I got it as a 'big birthday' present I decided it wouldn't be hidden away but would be my everyday watch and so it is. Still not as accurate as a £30 quartz of course!

Me boasting? Naa Just saying it as it is. Boasting would be telling everyone I have steel ceramic Daytona which I got last September 😜

I’ve been looking at that Seamaster. Seems to be increasing in value recently.

Thanks, have Omega Seamaster 2009 model too, I don't wear it anymore as used to huge Hercules and anything now wears so small

Nice! Thinking of doing the same as it’s more flexible! Lovely choice (y)

No mate, purached on credit card and 0% balance transferred to another Breitling Hercules Chrono

Hi All. Anyone ever use this site before? I've heard that you should typically buy from authorised sellers. I'm sure they are fine, but for this much money it may be worth making sure in case it's a really good knock off. Not trying to be a kill joy, just looking for reassurance. Ta!

too tempting!! may be bday present from misus :)

A beauty. It was the last of the tudoe black bay bronze.

I bought the BB58 in November, must say I love it
