you can flash the global image from Oneplus website, just be aware huge risk of warranty on these things with chinese sellers

Just ordered the 8/256GB model from eglobal, a bit more expensive but shippings much faster

Tempted, but can someone who was purchased from Gearbest before, advise on difference between buying this phone from here as opposed to one from UK.. will the OS be different to UK model for example.. do I have to do anything in order for it to work with UK networks? Thank you.

Why checkout with PayPal doesn't work? Or is just mine?

I pulse charge all of my devices and use AccuBattery app, amazing how much longer you can get, when you get into a routine of sorts (highfive) Got email with shipping update arrival of 23rd on one order, so looks like this stock may be closer to the EU than first thought, standard free shipping + no other options ticked on order, if anyone is interested in how its coming :{

Mine is already in processing, so expect it to be around 15 working days in total, depending on which warehouse / shed / utility room (not @Mrswitch one of course!) / hub its shipped via (y)

I don't even care about wireless charging. Im nearly always using my phone when it's charging.

Why is charging your phone wirelessly a gimmick? The MI9 Qi system charges faster than the majority of charge systems on the market, that's not sounding very gimmicky to me. ;) A 90 hz screen is a gimmick when nearly every app does not support it.😁 It's quite strange how people.always callsomething a gimmick when they don't have it on their device, you dont need to read minds to realise that. Every leading OEM leading has wireless charging bar OP and you call it a gimmick, I'd be more inclined to call it a flagship specification. (y)

Why didn't anyone tell me there was a mind reader present? You know nothing about me stop talking as you do... I'm not a OP fan for the record just stating facts it's a gimmick

Hate these places. They buy for £95 then sell for nearly double. They don't refurbish anything.

Been banned by Facebook for 3 days. Keep thinking I can’t comment here also.

Extremely good value. Considering you can get a xaomi phone at this price.

they have run out of the 64 gb ones and only 128 gb ones left now

It’s the lowest grade technically I think. Sometimes they can be a bit ropey but at this price you can’t be too discerning IMO and if you’re really unhappy just return it for free. It is a lot of phone - SD835, excellent display and dual-SIM plus near stock Android, I’d get one given the chance!

£210 I think.

Shame it doesn't indicate how much roughly you'd get cashback so you know how much the OnePlus 7 is eventually going to cost you. I've got an immaculate Samsung Note 8 still with the box, but if they then only offer you £150 for it, then I'd say this is cold

Thankyou for letting me know. Definitely looks to be my next phone then. Just hoping for a good monthly contract price to come up on one on EE for next month.

Big improvements in an update released yesterday. Especially for night mode. From what I've been watching the standard mode is good and the wide and telephoto modes not so good. MKBHD rates the stock camera as a C+. That was before the latest updates mind. But then with the Google camera app installed upgrades it to a B+. Interestingly MKBHD rates the Samsung S10+ camera as a B+ too. He currently gives the Pixel 3 an A+ (Performance he gives an A+ to the OnePlus 7 Pro and a C+ to the Pixel 3.)

Looking at getting one of these for my next phone when my contract finishes next month. What's the camera like on this as I saw a review where they said it's not that good.

I've got the 128gb, best phone I've ever had, really fast and dual SIM too for those that might benefit from that (mine is, dunno about this offer!)

It means that the phone originally came with a Chinese version of the operating system Installed, and has an international operating system Installed so that it can be sold outside China. The phone will to all intents and purposes be identical to the device if purchased from OnePlus UK, apart from the charging plug. To users on any UK mobile network it will work just as well as UK purchased phones. OnePlus UK have said in an email to me that they will cover warranty repairs in the UK for any phones bought abroad, but doa devices must be returned to the vendor direct.

Can somebody remind what "UNLOCKED CN Ver. (Flashed OS)" really means to a UK o2 User? Saw it on a listing on eGlobal for the Oneplus 6 128gb black that I'm interested in. Not sure if I'll got with that company yet, that's another thing I'll be reassuring myself of first.

Aha, we disagree when it comes to and/intel... Especially since zen 2 is now officially outperforming Intel. I usually just go to whoever is performing best at the time. Currently have a amd Ryzen 2700x, but had a 4770k before.

Not sure much about the phone, but I second that about snapdragon, would always go with snapdragon procceser then exynos one, they generally perform better overall, I would same the same about intel, rather intel then AMD intel have always performed the best.

This is the OnePlus 7 Pro though. Even the top tier K20 Pro with 8\256 is less than £400

Like for like, I believe the OnePlus 7 is actually cheaper than the K20. Given Oxygen OS on top of that, there's no doubt in my mind which one represents the best value.

Yeah, of course, everyone's priorities and requirements are different. For me, I like to pay for the best product possible, and in a world with both Snapdragon and exynos versions of the note 9, in my opinion it's a waste of money to get the exynos one, which is worse in every regard. Importing the Snapdragon one is a better choice in my opinion

You can tell it not to optimise the battery for specific apps and even lock the apps in recent app lists so theyre not removed from memory, but even that is hit and miss. As an example, ive locked my eBay app and sometimes when I kill all my apps it kills the eBay app even though it's been locked :D Theres quite a big thread on it on XDA with fixes which involve sending ADB commands (connect to your pc/laptop, configure drivers and send some "instructions") but I personally haven't tried those.

you can disable this for apps , look under battery settings. i turn it off for some social apps and alarm clock etc.

Cant you turn it off

Puts most, if not all apps into deep sleep due to its very efficient battery saving features which is kind of a double edge sword as I've learnt the hard way. The eBay app at times will not alert me to ending auctions in time due to this feature. Hope this helps clarify.

Just clarifying that it wasn't on the £400

Yes, I got a letter though the post about it.

Unfortunately gearbest are now using DHL for some deliveries and as such there is a high chance of extra charges to import this phone, so just bare that in mind if you are going to purchase. Just look out for the DHL delivery at checkout and the warning Taking out the shipping guarantee may negate this, but.ot 100% certain

Samsung has its own processors to help reduce dependence and improve margins.

Got a refurb 8GB/128GB midnight black model two weeks ago from envirofone for £330, rated excellent condition Condition was good but was a bit annoyed it didn't come with a charger since OnePlus use their own proprietary fast charge system. Loved the phone but it's going back under the 30-day return as I couldn't resist the OnePlus 7 Pro.

They go 6/128 | 8/128 | 8/256gb

There isn't a 6gb Oneplus 6t variant, they all have 8gb.

If it's 256gb it'll be 8gb.

I got one of these from Amazon warehouse on offer and going from a Samsung S9 to this I was a bit apprehensive but I can honestly say it's the best thing I ever did, it's a cracking phone so much smoother and faster would recommend to anyone, great price for the larger memory model but it doesn't state wether it's the 6 or 8gb ram one.

Not sure, but if I dropped my phone and broke the screen, then my household insurance would cover it under the personal items. My banking does not cover such things sadly.

If you don't have UK warranty but the phone is covered by insurance, (eg from bank) then if you have a fault, the insurance should work in place of warranty right?

It's not bad, but the fee free card requirement is the problem. Without it, the £40 saving isn't worth it. Also really annoyed at Oneplus in general for their ripoff pricing this time. How the hell does $749 translate to £799 or €829 for the exact same model?

£60 saving with a fee free card, still a good saving, and getting warranty with amazon.

Cold -- this is standard Eu pricing, not a deal. Bought the same Oneplus model last weekend for £668 off ebay after the discount. Since according to Oneplus the warranty is only valid in the country of purchase and with Brexit on the horizon, you might as well save some more money and get the Chinese version flashed with the global ROM from Gearbest or another importer. Not worth saving £40 for no warranty, but if they can drop it by another £60 it might be...
