On the page says you can trade in a phone for up to £300 off... But there is no indication what phones trade up to what value.... Any ideas how to find out?

I stick to Sony xperia they have UK based mobile number and no quibble warranty, used then in the past on couple of budget devices, they collected repaired and returned in week, currently have Xperia 1 mark 1 since 2019 no issue's just works flawlessly, and regular security updates every other month, plus will getting Android 11 soon to

Thanks, added to the title (y)

Looks like this bundle is being offered for the Lunar Silver 8GB model too, have snapped it up cheers

You're right. Man these heats make me panic buy when there's no reason to. Literally was about to purchase it at it's RRP.

If you get any sort of work discounts it should apply.

Does this work through john lewis though?

Thanks for posting; we have added this thread to the Highlights pages (y)

If you have a code or go through student beans then yes it should do.

Anyone had theirs dispatch yet? Mines still processing which worries me.

Darned it I miscalculated ... I was comparing prices of 4G S20FE vs 5G 8T thinking they were comparable on like for like spec. But obv not 5G S20FE a 100 quid more! Shouldn't have overthunk it and pulled the trigger.

Ooops ... snooze you lose! Samsung S20FE isnt bad cos they give 10% student discount and they offering 60 quid more (200 vs 140 on oneplus site) for my old Samsung S9 trade in. Which is effectively 120 off.

Never mind it still works if you add to cart!

Just missed out :/

I seem to recall having to use dodgy download sites & Russian forums (back when flashing was the way to unlock phones).

I can see where your coming from, once butten twice e shy and all that. But official firmware can easily be obtained from official sources.

Maybe, but my days of searching the net for random firmware files are done - too much risk for me. Each to their own.

Interesting pricing, id love to see some yearly sales figures right now.

I wouldn't say avoid as there are good deals to be had, more just being aware of the possibilities and how to circumvent them. The same type thing is also happening with rouge apps and people being subscribed to paid services without their knowledge. OP is one of the easiest to change the firmware, but with them now regionalizing their devices you have to wonder for how much longer.

Never miss a 'OnePlus 8T' deal again!

I would wait, this is heavily overpriced for the Chinese version In china this is about £360 so they're heavily marking this up, would wait a few weeks for about £400 and then go for it

Not much of an upgrade mate all the phones are more or less same I'd say stick to it, mate 20 Pro is a top class phone.

I know, I just don't get why people would notice much of a difference taking drunken nude selfies.

OnePlus 8T Pop-up Bundle Aquamarine Green 12 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage

Just had a go can't get the label up now so can't be sure but driver had no objection and tbh I didn't even know they were collecting the knocked when the Mrs was in and they took it box wasn't sealed and label wasn't even stuck on (lol)

Could you double check the label that they sent you, if possible? Is it up to 1KG limit?

Yeah sent back fine and refunded already couldn't fault the customer service in the same box it was sent out in on the lookout for a new phone again now

Did you manage to return it? I'm trying to return mine but the UPS label they sent me doesn't cover the size or weight of the box. I don't dare return it in case I get charged for shipping

Did you get it sorted out?
